  • what a scooter babe

  • To satisfy the police regarding "bicycle rights" you must keep the pedals with the bike, but they don't necessarily have to be installed (in most juridictions). If installed, they can be bothersome by digging in on sharp turns. One solution is to replace them with fold-up pedals. Check your local bike shop.

  • Во дура, села за руль без шлема. Хе-хе, потом моск ее будут по асфальту собирать.))))

  • It certainly is quiet.

  • I am commenting about the blonde girl with the XB-600 scooter not the "Winter Moped" video here. The only thing I found wrong with this blonde fool is that she is not wearing a helmet. People who don't wear helmets are what we motorcycle & scooter riders like to call "Organ Donors." I don't know why people insist on taking risks by riding any scooter or motorcycle or a basic bicycle with no helmet. Just like fools who text & drive don't think they will get into a car accident. Stupid fools !

  • @robbrichter2010 The video was filmed on a private farm road. Yes, we should have put a helmet on her. We encourage all riders to wear a helmet at all times while operating our products or any motorcycles or bicycles. Thanks for your comment.

  • I am in total and complete agreement with you my friend, the sight of someones brains spread all over the road is not a sight I like to remember, but it is something I will never forget. I would rather be a LIVE geeek than DEAD and cool.

  • Quick ? - anybody know how to mod the brakes so both front & rear don't act together when you pull 1 handle? (Having both brakes act together can be dangerous when riding on slick roads)

  • @GulfTangoSierra00000 If you would visit the x-tremescooters dotcom website then click on support at the top of the page or look under OWNING at the top of the page to get to the tech support link, you can open a support ticket, leave your phone number, a tech will call you back and discuss this with you. I do not see how both brakes can act together on one handle since each brake handle operates just 1 of the brakes each.

  • @partcentpc the brakes are "power-assist"

  • @GulfTangoSierra00000 I'm not sure what you mean by the brakes are power assist. You should open a support ticket and have a tech call you on Monday to discuss it. Your bike has life time support (free).

The e-bike it self has power assist on the rear motor but not the brakes. Power assist means you can pedal and then get power to assist you by twisting the throttle.

  • no helmet lol

  • I just Got my li 700 does any one know what it means when the charger blinks red then green and ive charged it for one and a half hour s when i got it and its not even turning on ..is the Bike completely dead when you get it Thanks

  • @GrindTimeMoments When the bike is shipped to you, the battery is not plugged in. You need to lift the battery box out of the bike, you will then see a plug, go ahead and plug that into the battery box and now you are ready to go and you can charge it now if you like as well using either the charging socket that is near the front of the seat or you can lift the battery box out of the bike and charge it away from the bike. You're choice.

  • @partcentpc I appreceate the feed back ,and yes I plugged in the battery pack to the socket that is how I charged it for 1.5 hours ,,I turn the ignition and Nothing ..The question that I am asking that I would love adressed is "does any one know what it means when the charger blinks red then green "

    thanks

  • @GrindTimeMoments contact the support department now by going to X-Tremescooters sitcom and at the top of the page one of the drop down menus has a link to support. Open a ticket and they will call you in the morning.

  • You could be too young to ride this legally. It depends on your state. You could search google for the laws in your state on electric bicycles. You should be able to easily get the answer on google. Many states simply treat this as a bicycle and anyone can ride, some states want you to be 16 or older.

  • So what age do you need to be to drive this and if i drive this i am 14 will i get pulled over with the police?

    thanks please answer????????

  • Great pro's and con's review. Thank you! Can you tell me which light bulb you found for $40 & we will have that fixed at once as light bulb's should not be priced at $40 unless it is a complete head light assembly.

If you look on the parts page of x-treme scooters dot com you can find the spare battery pack for sale. Purchase one of these and you can now drop in a fresh pack into the bike which takes about 1 minute to complete then charge the other pack out of the bike on the charger.

  • Can i just ask and id love this question to be answered its been bothering me why is there pedals on it?

  • @AzerDrum Pedals is what makes this bike classified as an electric power assisted bicycle and because it has pedals the DMV will see this not as a motorcycle but instead as an electric power assisted bicycle and this is why you will need no license, registration, or insurance to operate it. All you do in most states is simply follow the same laws that are in place for bicycle riders.

  • She actually looks pretty hot with her beautiful blonde hair flowing in the wind

  • Pros:

-VERY quiet (most pedestrians don't even know I'm there until I'm past them)

-Ability to turn off ALL lighting & "run stealth"

-Does not need to be registered with DMV

-No license needed to ride on most city streets

    Cons:

Limited range (keep your distance within 20 miles so you don't wind up stuck somewhere)

Average of 6 hours to fully recharge a dead battery (which feels like forever when you're stuck out in the styx)

Replacement bulbs only availible from company for $40.

  • HELMET!!

  • Anyone that's bought an E-bike or plans to, if you send me a msg with your email I'll email you a 2 page doc you can print out & carry with you to show anyone who DARES tell you they're illegal!

We e-bikers need to stick together. ;)

  • Thanks for offering this to everyone. You can post this on all of our e-bike videos, not just this model but for all models on our account.

  • @partcentpc will do.

  • @jing88888 You might want to delete your address from such an open public post - otherwise you'll end up with spammers grabbing it & flooding your inbox with crap.

  • @GulfTangoSierra00000

it was reckless of me. thanks for the warning, but where is the 2-page document? may i expect it in my email? thank you so much and may God bless you well indeed.

  • @jing88888 What did I ever do wrong to you?

(Everyone that's ever used the "God bless you" line towards me has then turned around & screwed me over)

  • @GulfTangoSierra00000 nothing. you didn't do anything wrong. as a matter of fact i am thankful for your generosity in sharing the document with me re: the legality of eBikes even if not registered. i am even more grateful to you for warning me when i recklessly wrote my emai. MY APOLOGY FOR HAVING OFFENDED YOU SIR. i didn't mean to offend you. i am also sorry that you had that sad experience with everyone that ever uttered the phrase. i can assure you that i am far from being like them.

  • @GulfTangoSierra00000 Already got the doc. thank you so much for your help. have a blessed day ahead.

  • lol !walmart sell those!the only thing require by law on these are a speed limit and helmet!(if its not there its considered a motorcycle!)

  • Wal-Mart does not sell these. You can buy one at Best Buy Electronics though, but not Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart sells small kids toy scooters, this is a 20+ MPH electric powered bicycle that looks like a moped. The pedals are installed so that it's classified as an e-bicycle for you so you do not have to register it or carry a drivers license in most states to drive, and you don't have to register or insure it either + it's legal in Canada as well.

  • @partcentpc peace are you a distributer of these bikes and also is that the XB600 IN THIS VIDEO?

    Thanks

  • @GrindTimeMoments X-Treme Scooters is a brand name and we are the sole distributor for X-Treme Scooters in the USA. Yes, this is the XB-600 in this video. If you were to order an XB-600 you will receive the new upgraded XB-610, which is nearly identical to this XB-600. We will have a video on the XB-600 on youtube within the next 7 days. It's a new model that replaces the XB-600.

  • @partcentpc Thank you for the Info ,Now for clarification when you say you are the SOLE distributor in the US do you know Jen at advanced becucuase Xtreme Scooters gave me her Info to make my order

    Thanks

  • @GrindTimeMoments We are "X-Treme Scooters" You are talking to X-Treme Scooters right now. The corporate name is Green Max Distributors. We only sell or "distribute" to our licensed resellers and or dealer / stores. Advanced Electric Scooters has been selling the X-Treme line since 2002 & they have earned the placement as one of our top online retail dealers.

When you telephone X-Treme Scooters they would not sell directly to you and they gave you a reference because we don't sell retail

  • @partcentpc thanks for that clarification ..Well based on these informative Videos and one month of research I will be placing my order tomorrow morning! BTW the

"You are talking to X-Treme Scooters right now." had me laughing a little,, becuase I had no idea

at any rate thanks for every thing and its great that you are here Live to communicate with

  • @partcentpc Ah, so you're XS.

You ever get any FB on the throttle for the XB-700? I ask cause the grip on mine kinda broke off.......

The good news is my bike's got CRUISE CONTROL now. :))

  • @GulfTangoSierra00000 No I have not heard of this before. Just contact X-Treme, go to x-tremescooters dotcom and mouse over Technical Support at the top any of the pages on the site, then click on Support Ticket to open one up, they will get you a new throttle sent out or a new grip, which ever it needs.

  • @GulfTangoSierra00000 Thanks again for the info i wanted to know,,do you have an li 700 ? becuase i just got mine and im having difficulties .

ive charrged the bike when i first got it 2 days ago for 1.5 hours and i cant even get the lights to come on when you plus the charger in one light stays red the other blinks red then green every 2 seconds , the manual never said any mention of that

and can i take the battery out of the bike and plug the charger directly into the battery and charge it?

  • @GrindTimeMoments OK, if you don't know where it is, the battery is under the foot rest area. Lift the battery up carefully, & you should be able to prop it at an angle - prop it so the left side of the battery is showing, & you'll be able to see the power cord to it. Just unplug that cord for about a minute, then plug it back in - when you do, you'll hear a "pop". Then put the battery back in place, hop on, turn the key, & as Bob & Doug would say...

    "Take off eh!" :))

  • @GulfTangoSierra00000 Thanks But yes I know where the battery pack plug is I charged it for 1.5 hours and when I turn the Ignition on not even a light comes on and I VERY curios if it is Normal for the charger lights to blink red then green when it is plugged into an out let..I guess what Im trying to see is if my Bike came with a faulty charger and battery

    Thanks

  • @GrindTimeMoments Oh, & in spite of the claims, don't let it get rained on!

Mine did (damn wind blew the tarp off), & now the horn & battery gauge don't work

  • Would these be legal in New York, if so can you provide me some documents or sources? I checked the NY DMV website and it states that any motor assisted bicycle is not legal for road use.

  • before you jump out to go buy one thinking it is perfectly legal double check with your LOCAL laws they are different wherever you are on this matter, for instance in canada if its over 240kgs or 500 watts its gonna be illegal, you cant buy it with 500 watts and modify it either thats illegal as well, dont forget age restrictions are variant on where you are, and always remmeber a helmet

  • @hitomearue We only send 500 watt motors or below when we ship to Canada. We know about the regulation and we are under permit by Canada Transport to ship these up there. If we see a Canada address, we ship one of our bikes with the 500 watt motor in it. They still run the same speed and have the same power, just less watts, but we can get the same results, that's the beauty of electricity, it's not restricted like a gas engine would be. Go Electric!

  • @partcentpc can these things keep up with city traffic?

  • Since it's an e-bicycle it can only reach legally the speed of 20 MPH, BUT.... if you google this phrase "XB-600 shunt controller" you will find video and directions on how many customers have made a modification the XB-600 by adding 1 or 2 batteries under the seat and doing a quick modification to the controller, this makes the XB-600 run up to 38 MPH, then yes, it will keep up with city traffic if you were to do some testing with this modification.

  • @MonkiFilthManiaFilms i hate it too but rules are rules, i break them all the time,,, i take the chances, i pay the price, i decide, who what and when,,... unfortunately alot of people follow the rules, let them be unmolested by your tantrums, it honestly dont fit you, nor you tube....ewww

  • @hitomearue If you live in the US, then BY FEDERAL LAW they are classed as bicycles & not motor vehicles. & if any "official state sh**head" tries telling you different you send me their phone # & I'll deal with the sob PERSONALLY!

    Public Law 107-219

  • This is the way to go for your short commutes, school, etc. I ride mine to the office which is close - I am the envy up there. They call me Mr. Green. Got it at xtremescooters4u and they shipped it right away. About the price of a decent bike, so its a no brainer. And yes, its considered a bike, not a moped or motorcycle.

  • where da battery man it so quiet

  • The battery pack is located right under where you put your feet at. It's electric, electric makes almost no noise. Yes, they are very quite.

  • Why is it that you have posted negative comments about these bikes on every video there is for them on YouTube, JOEBETH31? Not to be nosy, but seriously, what's your problem with them? I'm going to buy on to save on gas and cut costs for commuting and running errands-they seem like a great deal and a cool way to get around for short distances. And if you ride on the side of the road where the bicycles ride, you're away from cars,so it seems safe to me. Did you have a bad experience with one?

  • I dont understand why europe has nothing at all in this range yet.

China and north america seem to be the only 2 places on the planet that are attempting to innovate evs.

in the uk the best we can hope for is a crap 30 mph 40 mile range that is useless and over priced. i

  • Me & 2 friends each got a 700Li - while they're AWESOME to ride, the pigs HATE EM!!!!!!

So far we'vwe been told they're against the law, that they need to be registered with DMV, that we need licenses to ride em, that we can't ride em in the city cause all roads in the city are hiways, & shitloads else!!!!!!! We've been pulled over at least 20 times combined!

Fed law says they're legal, & we'll fight for what's right - even against the pigs! WE'RE NOT BACKING DOWN! JOIN THE CONVOY!

  • This is the first I have heard of this. What city and state are you located in? We as the manufacture could contact you state for you and get them to put a stop to the police pulling you over. We have the documentation to show them. Give me your city and state and let's go from there.

  • I live in New York City. Could you do that for me in New York State and New York City? Thanks.

  • Contact X-Treme Scooters main office at 402-613-4445 and press 1 for sales, speak to Christy & tell her your in NYC & ask her for the doc's to show your local police department which will prevent them from bothering you while riding your e-bicycle.

  • :D i like your style

  • What state did this happen?

  • RIGHT ON!

  • Sweet, the pigs can be so up their own arses and are often on a powertrip. They often don't know the law but it's never any use arguing with them, it never helps to argue with the law. Police are often fairly stupid but think they know everything, could anyone be expected to memorise every law of the land and learn each new law that gets passed? There must be 1000's of laws.

    Keep up the good work.

  • @ColonelSamatoshi How are you I just read your post about the 700 li thepost was great ,,I have some questions im about to get the 700 ands i want to know how is the maintenance on them the durability ?did you get it from x treme scooters and do the police actually phisically stop you from riding it

    thanks

  • @GrindTimeMoments Well, at first the cops were stopping me at least 3 times a week, laying all sorts of BS on me like it has to be registered with DMV (1 cop even had the nerve to claim that he read that right on xtreme's website), that I need a DL to ride it, that I can't ride it in the city cause all roads are considered highways, etc. & every last 1 of them REFUSED to even get near the printout, which got THEM a warning, "How would you like to be wearing your own f***ing handcuffs?" :))

  • @GulfTangoSierra00000 Thanks !! hey could you elaborate on the part were you said: "every last 1 of them REFUSED to even get near the printout, which got THEM a warning, "How would you like to be wearing your own f***ing handcuffs?" :)) " meaning when you pulled it out they didnt want to touch it ? is that what you mean?

    Thanks

  • It's so bad that in Europe we can't ride them. So, soooo bad!!! :-(

  • can u drive a xb-600 without a licence in canada?

  • wat r the pedals for?

  • Without pedals it is not a moped. But you can take them off.

  • in case the batteries run out... or you just feel like using them to reduce the pull on the batteries to increase the scooters distance...

  • can u be 13/14 and ride one since its a "bike"

  • Check with your state or city but it should be legal for you to ride. I would say if it's illegal for you to ride a bicycle then you cannot ride this but I don't know of any states or cities that don't allow kids to ride bicycles, so I would not expect you to have a problem.

  • I bought one since my license is suspended, and it's great....EXCEPT! They are not street legal without a license if the speed limit is above 25, and can not be driven on the sidewalk. So where do you drive the dam thing? In my driveway.

  • In Canada this would not qualify as a power-assisted bicycle as it has a motor bigger than 500W. You would need to plate it and have a motorcycle driver's license. And yeah, her knees look too close to the handlebars. And where's the helmet? Riding on the street with no lid? Not advisable. (Course if you watch my two ebike vids, I don't have a helmet in either--whoops!). Certainly get an eBike--they are a blast! But shop around: you can get one for much less than you think!

  • If you purchase this 600 watt e-bike model from x-treme and you have a canada address, they setup the bike they send you so that it has only a 500 watt capacity motor and the speeds are identical to the USA version, they are Canada Transport / Customs approved, all you have to do is order, x-treme will take care of the rest.

  • The Canada models have 500 Watts so it's qualified.

  • When ever we get a shipment going to Canada we ship up the bike with a 500 watt motor installed in it since Canada's maximum allowed wattage is 500 watts. The speed remains the exact same as if it had the larger motor, you will not see ANY difference at all. Everything is controlled from the "controller" or brain so it's perfectly legal in the USA or Canada and goes the same speed in both versions.

  • zal do dupy 1/5

  • I just bought one form the Scooter Net Store on the web. They ship right to your door and they are dirt cheap. I would recomend these scooters to anyone!

  • Do you need a license for this awesome thing?

  • you cant be like 10. you need to know how to drive to go in streets.

  • can you carry a child passenger

  • Sure, you can carry a child on this e-bike, it has room for 2 people.

  • Actually it just looks like a moped. Since it has pedals it's an electric power assisted bicycle, there is nothing to register, it falls into the e-bicycle classification and it is not a vehicle. You do not need to register it and even if you wanted to register it you cannot because it's a e-bicycle not an e-moped. Look up XM-5000Li on google to see an e-motorcycle that needs to be registered.

  • You want a sweet looking e-bike, check out the XB-700Li !

Looks like you could add some cases to the sides for more cargo, & enough internal space for some really wicked mods! >:D

About the only thing that sucks is the price x-treme's extorting for it - $1,500+. Friend & me were both wanting to get one till we got hit with MAJOR stickershock.

  • The XB-600 is only $974 delivered FREE. X-Treme is not asking $1500+ for this bike. The only bike that costs 1500+ is the XB-700 which runs on 26 lithium batteries but you don't have to get that one when you can get this one for under $1000 or if you want to spend less go for the XB-502 and spend around $700. You can modify the XB-600 to run 35+ MPH by looking on google for "XB-600 Shunt" and read the directions others are putting up on google about this modification.

  • Well, my friend got the 700.....

HFS! The damn thing's almost as big as a honda helix! About the only problem is attaching the handlebars - how're you supposed to put a bolt through when the neck of the front fork's encased in as plastic fairing?????

  • Rofl! He took the bike on a long ride & got about 25mi when she pooped out on him 9mi outside town! :))

  • lol in quebec u need a permit to ride this...its so stupid no where else in the world needs it but in quebec..wut are my chances!!! but yah these things are fun...battery lasts really long to...i dont even put the pedals o0n mine cuz i never use them!

  • I couldn't believe this was classified as a bicycle till I got on one. Haven't reviewed one yet though.

  • It's true, it's classified as an e-bicycle, so you can ride or drive it just as you would a bicycle. No need for registration, no need for a drivers license, no need for a license plate, and no need for insurance. You can drive this as you would your bicycle, just leave the pedals on and your set.

  • Ur goin 20?

  • I don't remember the speed we had the bike running at for the video. The bike will run 20 to 25 MPH.

  • Way Cheaper and much BETTER LOOKING. I found these bikes while visiting the factory in Shanghai, China.

How about thsee nice looking bikes for only 700 plus shipping?

  • These bikes have pedals. The bikes you saw in China likely did not have the pedals because in China they can make them without the pedals and they are legal for use there. In the USA if you don't have pedals then these become a moped and if it's a moped you must have DOT certification, have a VIN number on the bike & it has to have a License plate, Registration and insurance. If you buy one of these with the pedals on them (no need to use the pedals to operate it) you don't need anything to ride

  • except a dot certified helmet

  • In California, you don't need the pedals--Anything with 2 wheels & an electric motor under 1000 watts can be operated on the street with a helmet.

  • man how much is it a normal 50 cc scooter mopeds?cause i am gona buy buy got 400 pounds in my pocket..

  • i thought those were supposed to fit 2 people. it looks like it can't though...

  • This model holds 2 people no problem, if you remove the rear box you can have allot more space on the back should one of the riders require more space on the seat.

  • so is ther a site were they ship these to the uk?

  • No, sorry. These are available to the North Americas only. (Canada, USA, Mexico)

  • what is the range?

  • Since this is a power assisted bicycle, the top speed cannot exceed 20 MPH. We have electric mopeds that can reach 63 MPH but the price would be 4X the price of this. The faster you want to go, the more you should pay. What your getting for what your paying on this model or any of the e-bikes really is a great bargain and there will be no registration fee's, insurance, gas costs or drivers license needed with an e-bike, unlike electric mopeds.

  • Wear is your helmet?

  • i love the idea, but that thing looks like it will really slow down on the kinda hills there are where i live. and 20mph top speed....... I think ill look for somthing with more beef please

  • This looks a lot like the Veloteq Commander SHO

  • Your welcome to a test ride if you can visit the warehouse and then see for your self.

  • where is the warehouse located? im thinking of buying one. is there any close to san jose, ca?

  • Is it good
