Very good bit of advice about the mental endurance/patience. You can go to any tournament; from locals to SJC's, and watch guys lose because of lack of patience and/or getting put on tilt. Focus.

There's a lot of useful information in that video for people. I know you've played at mats at locals and all that but I'm assuming you never play on a mat at major events because it takes up unnecessary amounts of space in your back pack and it's one more thing you'd have to worry about.

That is right Dale, originality will only get you so far, maybe to a feature match, and you lose it. It is all about performance, originality is secondary. Good luck in Jersey, not sure if I am going anymore.

Playing on a mat is what causes that "dirt" to show up on sleeves, it's just a precaution he takes so that way there's no suspicion that would be called into question when judges do deck checks...
