  • how much is t gauge

  • Awesome!

  • i just can't get the random cat part down.... :/

  • nice slideshow

  • I like coffee

  • Like it

  • No woman would ever let this happen in her House!

  • you should find a way to put in roads, buildings rivers and trees

  • Nice job. Not sure why you just didn't carve a solid block of foam however - would have been way quicker and no gaps to fill.

  • You are a god!

  • Can we see it werking zoon? Pleas react

  • 0:53 random cat ; )

  • nice one can we see it working soon??

  • And where goes the magnifying glass? LOL!!

Though I'm not a T scale enthusiast, I can't deny you've done an excellent job!!

  • Very nice!

  • sounds like you make the music on dance ej

  • Why don't you show the finished working project???!!! AHHHH!!! THAT KILLS MEEEEE!!!!

  • what dimensions are the table.. I'm attempting to build my own n scale table and i like the size of yours

  • YOU SHOULD HAVE PUT SOME BALLAST ALONG THE TRACKS IT LOOKS TOO PLAIN BUT NICE JOB ANYWAYS

  • Random cat lololololololololol

  • WHOA! Two questions:

-How big is T scale, exactly?

-How long did it take you to make that?

  • SOOO cool.

Here did you find the white Styrofoam inclines?

    Bobby

  • @bltefft - never mind, I found it.

    BT

  • The only issue I have with this design is that is yet another "bowl of spaghetti" layout, only smaller still.

T has potential to focus on truly grand vistas with as little as a 1 1/2 x 6 meter construction. Something with "through running" at speed, with minimal switches for the sake of reliability. Some subject such as Ribblehead Viaduct within the entire valley, all without compromise to scale in any way. For steam, go as Fleischmann N, but the loco free running, to be pushed by the cars!

  • You should have a video of it running

  • Beautiful inspirational video.

  • Beautiful inspirational video.

    N-spoor.nl

  • seriously a cool layout! really wish we could've seen it running though...

  • :( no trees

  • can you make a vid of it running please?

  • ejay music lol :D

  • my grandad past away last year and i have inherited his huge amount of 'OO' sized trains, carrages and wagons. I have fell in love with them but have no idea what i'm doing so i'm just looking around the place and getting a basic idea of how to build a layout. The only things i have decided is where it will be (garage) and setting (country with steam engines). I think i am having to go with an L shaped layout so it won't take up to much room. Can't wait to build it and get it up and going ;)

  • Now this is small

  • Whoah nice, but I think the model will be even better if You leave extra head room for houses and trees and other details

  • dude whats the dimensions of your coffee table and what was the types of foam you used and what was the plaseter you used and what was the filling for the bridges

  • hahaha I remember the samples from the program hahahahahahaha so funny to hear them again

  • how long did it take you to make this

  • do you have any video of the final product... ie: the train running... would love to see it. Please upload.

  • I want that RANDOM cat !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'

  • Holy shit.

I want that table. I want that cat!

  • Ok this vid is starting to get annoying except the random cat I can't get enough of that!!! lol

  • :O I GOT THAT PHONE OH MY GOD!!!

  • Where is the rolling.

  • good job 100/100

  • Where do you get the T scale

  • your cat is sooooo cute:)

  • Amazing! Great job!

  • wow

  • I like the part with the random cat

  • was this track made in dance ejay?

  • just out of curiosity, how long did it take you to build this from day 1 till completion?

  • Thank you very much for posting this interesting video!!

  • That is a thing of beauty!

  • aw I wanted to see it working!

  • Awesome. That was a great idea.

Maybe I shouldn't ask about it, but how much did it cost? I mean everything: rails, engine, carriages.

  • wonderful !

  • That's a very good idea

  • how long did that take you?

  • Very cool.

  • without seeing the completed layout I have a couple of suggestions;

first any rubbish or 'grass' growing near / on the track to give it an aged look.

second, to paint the track connections for a continuous or more real look.

    Otherwise a favourite!

  • best vid ever

  • Sir, have you completed this coffee table? Do you have an update video or photos that can be emailed? Cool layout. My wife is interested in letting me build a coffee table layout because of your video. Thanks.

  • i wanted to see the train work! D:

  • it's too small for me . would it work on ho gauge scale

  • @LEON13858 probably not, HO requires much more space at least 4 by 8 feet to be worthwhile, but N scale is about half as large as HO, so i would suggest using that

  • this makes N gauge look massive

  • omg t scale is so small the smallest scale ive ever seen

  • Awesome job ... I love it.

  • Can't wait to see the finished product!

  • Amazing! Great work!

How long did it take you?

  • What is the material called that u used to support the track

not the plaster but the stuff before it

  • @rootbear32 extruded polystyrene (XPS)

  • @jibbleorg you mean "styrofoam" lol keep it away from hydrocarbons or it will turn to goo

  • how expensive are the engines and track

  • This looks like soooo much fun to build! It really makes me miss my old layout :) do you have any video of the train in action? I would reallly like to see it.

  • brillient m8

is this scale expensize and if so at what price ruffly

plaese and what size scatter did you use

  • WOW, Very cool. I have never seen T scale before. Is it smaller then Z?

  • Nice Layout , Wish I could do that . ;)

  • at the start i thought it look really shit but then it was lie bang sick ass

  • what is smaller Z or T gauge?

  • great job mate, wish i had ur patience

  • Dude nice vid. those t scale models are hard to work with. i saw some z scale buildings on ebay.

  • i wish i had this ability,.. watching projects like this makes me feel like a retard.

  • how long did it take you to build it

  • you should ad some trees

  • It would be neat to see this running.

  • Nice work, but at 3:40 it looks like one big pile of crap!

  • Excelent work !!!

I am trying to make the same thing for HO Marklin scale

    Keep up the good work

  • Superb Video!

  • loving it mate

  • wow amazing job!

  • well good job all round mate...i like it

  • well cool, like what you did.......whats the song called?

  • The song is called The Innit Beast. I made it myself :-/

  • @jibbleorg

    Ejay?

  • @beertjerockpiloot dance ejay

  • Great layout sir. Looking forward to seeing the finished model.

Very interested to see it with trees and final detail.

Has it progressed since this video?

  • Really hope we see an update soon!

  • 0:55 Chessie audition lol

  • damn, that is sweet... how many hours did it take you

  • Outstanding effort and I cannot wait to see this running. A great feature for for kids and visitors to watch. Well done 5*

    Thanks for sharing.

  • That is suuch a cool idea, you should make them and sell them for a few grand. Think the next step should be a raised living room floor on beams with thick polycarbonate panels and a whole room layout underneath? XD

  • I think you just gave me an idea...

  • Great video, and awesome job on your layout. The size perspective did help me too to see how small that scale is. Would love to see some running video of your layout!

  • Random Cat!!!!!!

  • i couldn't picture how small t gage was from other videos, but the picture of you holding the car in your hand and it being half the size of your nail is a great comparison-thanks!

  • Bloody Hell Thats Small :P

  • What software did you use to create the track design/plan ?

  • I wrote a custom program using Java and EpsGraphics2D.

  • thats going to be the talk of the house

  • yea lol

  • This is UTTERLY AMAZING! what a great idea!

  • hly crap thats cool! whats the size of it, how much did it cost to make & how long did it it take to make?

  • The coffee table is just over a metre long. I haven't finished making it yet.

  • i ceen this 2 times and im wochin it again

t gauge must be anoyin wen someone knocks the table or it derails

  • ahhh Having a drink on something like this in a cafe (or pub), wow =)

  • really cool but;.... I think you should put in trees, roads, etc. (if it still fits in:P)

  • I should probably have mentioned that this project isn't finished yet. Plenty of trees and things yet to come :)

  • i don't think my mum will let me do one in the coffee table

  • OMG OMG OMG this is SO COOL

  • brilliant

absolutly brilliant 5*wicked man so cool

    im rating 5

  • honest to god, im gob smacked. 5*+faved

  • Amazing layout, but could really use some trees, people, roads, buildings, etc.

    More scenery.

As a base layout it's great, though. Five stars.

I'm making a line of 3d-printed sandstone building models on Shapeways for T-gauge.

Between those, paper-folded models, fine-detail foliage from Woodland Scenics and other companies, Herpa vehicles, and the models produced by Eishindo, it should be possible to make some really nice scenic forest or city designs in T-gauge.
