just saying i feel bad for everybody who loved vu but im glad it switched to a more reliable park. Instead of it being shut down every minute of every day(mostly) ppl can actually go to silverwood and enjoy it.

It's more reliable at Silverwood because Vekoma offered to replace many of the old parts because they updated technology. Not because Silverwood is more reliable.

Hurricane Harbor and Raging Bull both brought in huge attendance. Raging Bull was their best decision in a way that Six Flags had another ride planned out for them, but Great America bought the ride without Six Flags' consent, and in the end, that was their best decision (going against Six Flags). I agree Hurricane harbor was huge for Great America, but it wasn't their absolute best choice

Raging Bull wasn't too big of a hit. Hurricane harbour was their best choice because the following year, there was a 45% attendancee increase.

i know that sucks. we still got ours up here at Six Flags Magic Mountain, but why they would tear it down at parks like Over Georgia and Great America is beyond me. Every Six Flags park needs one of these (or at least most of them).

They took it down here because of the the slow speed of the line. The maintenance was too costly too. I dont blame them. But I only got one chance to ride this.

they are building some fucked up kiddie ride. they already have 3 kids themed areas here. but yea, its some typeof kids water ride. the new manager is all about family crap. Its called bucanner battle. Google it.

several parks are building them across the nation, and they belong in Hurricane Harbor(s) across the nation, or at least in Six Flags parks that need a new attraction but cant add a new roller coaster. Still, cant blame Six Flags for trying to get more family oriented. Can blame them though for taking out a major thrill ride though.

They are building that water ride cause they just took out a water ride that use to be in fron of deja vu. They are moving go carts over there and the water ride where de ja bu was. And then they are building a seperate entrance for hurricane harbor just like sfmm and building a water slide coaster. Which is pretty cool, something like delige at sfkk. But they take out my moms favorita rides the past 6 years.

They wasted land on that lame ass hurricane harbor when they could have been expanding on coasters. they also own that key lime cove lame thing too if im not mistaken; just go to wilderness in the dells, don't bother with keylime kid crap.

And Hurricane Harbour was their best descicion they made since the park opened. Adding it brought attendantcy more then 3 times more then it use to. Keylime Cove isn't as big as HH and Keylime is mainly for kids.

Deja Vu was not a good coaster. The riding experience itself was good, but it had high maintenance fees and costed too much to keep.

And some people don't want to drive 4 hours to Wisconsin Dells when they can drive less than an hour for HH. Or keylime

i agree about the maintenance factor on deja vu, but i was hoping for another coaster in it's place. and yes, keylime cove is a KIDS thing and thats just it, they are focusing TOO much on the kid things now.

p.s. i consider dark knight coaster a kids thing, or something, im not sure what to say about that really.

All that being said, I'm going in april for my coasters <3 no matter how pissed i get, i will still go there as long as i can find ways for me to get my discount tickets =)

They are focusing on kids thing because the last manager did not. Do you know how many thrill rides they built one after another? And all on credit. And that drove all the kids out. Now, kids are the what makes Six Flags popular so now they are aiming for kids. Dark Knight you consider a kids coaster because you dont like it XD

You need to knowthewholestory.. Sky Whirl was really old and it was getting really old to handle. So they took it down for Deja Vu. Remember that this istheold managagement. Now, since 2005, the newer team is trying to appeal to families be cause the last people who ran the park only build flat rides.

So it essentially suffered from the same fate the Giant Wheel did in that they simply didn't want to keep pumping money into something that could be easily replaced with a single feris wheel.

Yea. I remember trailblazer. That was the only ride I would ride in the whole park and not that it is gone, it bugs me. But I now ride everything, but I had good memeories on it. I will also be sad when american eagle goes...

I am glad to see this ride go. It will always be remembered as a mediocre ride which took the place of the extremely popular and unique Sky Whirl ride. Sky Whirl should never have been removed from the park, and especially not for a ride like Deja Vu.

it was too costly to repair and always was breaking down, so they said they would rather spend the money else where. That is why they did build so great rides after it was built.
