I know that. I'm not saying that age is why he didnt win the heisman. he missed the heisman because he wasnt the best. I like Beck and i'm happy my Fins selected him. He's got some holes in his game, but nothing that can't be hammered out with some good coaching. I think the guy has a bright future, and hopefully he can bring the Dolphins a championship or three.

I'm not going to lie, Beck was a really good quarterback. Beck certainly grew a lot since his Freshman year. The Quarterback Factory, however, has produced some who will last longer than he will.

Beck hasnt had the chance to choke in the weak mountain west conference. John Beck will never get into an nfl game. Hes a knowbody. If hes so good why are the dolphins getting trent green? and dont give me this hes a rookie cause last year 3 started. If people thought he was as good as last years rookies he would be second instead of third on the depth chart. I take that back because lemon is probably better than beck. Hes lucky to make a team.

rigghhht... except mormon's can't be gay, john beck is more dedicated than brady quinn, he can't get enough of it. that's why he spends lunch reading the dolphin playbook, he tivo's nfl network shows. he is a gym rat and a student of the game. (and he doesn't campaign for draft spots) and the sports guys on john beck's draft day (look to the right) had nothing bad to say abouit john beck. one of them even said he likes him as much as brady quinn... watch that video

i'll tell ya waht.. im a huge ND fan and a huge fins fan. i went nuts when they did not pick Quinn.. but later on i noticed Beck is a good QB. I like Quinn but in my eyes he will always be the guy who doesnt get it done when they need it.

Dan Marino never had a cast like Payton Manning. All Marino had was Clayton and Duper. Marino never even had an offensive line that protected him the way Manning has. Beck will be great QB but he will never pass Marino's records. Only Manning will but he's had lots of help and luck.

Don Shula is the best coach in Miami Dolphin history. The Dolphins have gone to the super bowl 5 times. Winning 2 Superbowls. There is also the memorable undefeated season. No team has ever touched that record ,and it has been thirty some years.
