  • I watched this series when it was first posted up and was impressed and I'm still impressed. Neat!

  • Excellent description and photos. But why does the narrator sound so monotone?

  • I think the fact that music like elvis drew from gospel music just goes to show that it was god's creation that eventually was corrupted

  • This guy talks soo fucking slow

  • Have you considered getting this produced professionally and having it converted to DVD? That would be awesome.

  • Just wanted all to know that I am not homophobic, and the "opposite sex love" wording refers to the dominant male-female theme of the early rock and roll songs. I do appreciate the criticisms and I did not intend to offend anyone, so I will be more careful in the future.

  • 3:45 is definetly a diliberate shot at homosexuality.

  • You are wrong.

  • @ironskull17 oh fuck off! Jesus, is this what this world has come to? looking into every little thing to see if it's 'homophobic'? I was listening to the radio the other day, and the talk show host told a caller,'you're going brokeback on me,' 5 minutes later he had to apologize cause apparently a buch of pansies got their panties in a twist and called in to complain. Same thing happened not too long ago on WWE. It's gotten to the point where these fairies don't even want to be called homosexual

  • This has been really interesting, I'm wondering about a comment at about 3:45...what on earth is meant by "opposite sex love"? Teens who weren't gay weren't into opposite sex love BEFORE rock and roll? Gay kids aren't included? It just seemed like an odd comment.

  • yea, what is with that?

  • I think he just meant the whole "boy meets girl" scenario that was common in rock and roll.

  • That is a good way of putting it.

  • You are right, it was an odd comment. I did not intend to offend anyone, just was referring to the boy-girl theme that was prevalent in the 50s' songs and youth culture historically.

  • I don't think this guy should be the narrator. He sounds like The Family Guy. LOL

  • I'm sorry! I accidently voted this 1 star! this is really good, 5 stars! I'm so sorry

  • great material, when the next episodes? God Bless

  • Great series so far, Jimmy! I can't wait to work on these with you.

  • Loved the Explo '72 pics! I was 16 then and met Larry Norman and Pam in a park in Dallas. Ah, what memories!

  • Wow!
