@zombielovezombie plus they're still young, give them time. every single band have started doing music like the bands who made them want to make music, it's natural. Let them grow, let them explore, let them fucking be themselves, nothing's better than being oneself.
And who has seen them live knows they are a lot better and lot more original than " a copie of a copie of a copie of BJM"
Finally some good "indie". Sorry for that lable "indie", actually I hate 98% of music nowday called - INDIE because of that "shitty-disco-guitar-dancing" sound, but this smells to me by real r'n'll... Keep it in any costs
voice def sounds a little like kurt cobain, sound is def has some BJM to it too. im really digging this. im gunna mention them to my friend in London, see if he's heard of you guys. i'd like to maybe hear a little more harmonies thrown in above the lead voice.
Grrrrrrrrrrreat and very catchy tune. I went to the Kingston beer festival last Friday and spent most of the time singing this to myself (until I fell over). I don't sing BJM tunes at beer festivals.
the first thing that comes to mind hearing this song...other than thinking that it's great...is the comfortable thought that real music continues with the younger generation. There is hope that not everyone has been indoctrinated by MTV and the like into believing what is shown and heard in popular culture to be music or art. (just my opinion) ...and on a lighter note...the future looks bright for BMK.
thats a good song, and so is this. But i see a lot of other bands influencing this group too. But they definitely have there own sound, you can just tell what roots they come from.
It's very hard to lose interest in your song as it progresses, it has a great beat and your lead singer has an interesting voice. Plus the video makes me miss London so much! Hopefully one day you'll visit Toronto, we have a great indie music scene here too.
