yes its true all thinks can burn but homes and property can be saved just by makeing a defencible space around your home... im a wildland firefighter in montana and i know for a fact that 99.9% (.1% = random happenings) of homes and property could be safe from fire if people just followed "simple" rules on how to make there place safe... talk to your local fire Dept on how to make you home safe if, you have any questions... dont argue it on youtube, it wont save your home....

The 1st house started to burn 4 min after embers jumped the highway. 2 men who work for the safety department witnessed this. They call the FD. While some firemen extinguished the fires others were running door to door banging to wake people in the middle of the night. What makes you think it's not the FD's job to get people out of a burning house. There is no such thing as a firePROOF house (maybe fire resistant). I hope you never have to learn 1st hand how hard & dedicated your FD is.

A 747 sized water tanker? I am a vol. firefighter and drive a tanker that hold 3000 gallons of water A 747 sized tanker would be to heavy and take to long to get to a fire would not need the water on the truck the fire would be out before the fd gets there! You can build a "fireproof" home but the stuff inside will still burn and you will be glad to have use come and pull you out of the smoke. Which is what most people die from in a fire.

a wild fire would not affect a fireproof home at all and a well prepared one would never need to be evacuated,NEVER.

747 is too heavy really,that's the all idea so it could carry a lot of water and all states should have a fleet of them ready to take off and attack any fire and have a fast refil set up for continuous fire attack.

my car was surrounded by flames on Hwy 31 near Water Tower Road.....5 min later they shut down Hwy 31 and havnt opened it sense. It was really scary for a few minutes for me and my wife.
