And China's current growth rate, "bubble" you might call," will pop and slow down at some point, as Chinese must carry out major political, economic reforms and establish a Western style democracy in order to catch US as the superpower. However, most analysts do think China will get there in about 20 years or so.

And as for innovation, do you why technology companies like Microsoft are setting up R&D sites in China? Because they can get innovative researchers there who create new things all the time. @indiasucksalways That's because Japan has a population of just around 120 million, of course it will not reach the level of the American economy unless each citizen had an earning that equals 2.5 times that of Americans. China has 1.3 billion people and increasing. India had close to this number. If they can even reach 2/3 the per capita income of Americans, they would already be far ahead of America. Also, Chinese economy is underrated since they don't count their private sector.

And China's current growth rate, "bubble" you might call," will pop and slow down at some point, as Chinese must carry out major political, economic reforms and establish a Western style democracy in order to catch US as the superpower. However, most analysts do think China will get there in about 20 years or so.

Producing in yuan is a lot HARDER work than producng in an overated currency like the EURO , the chinese have to export billions more per item to get the same cut. Give Germany , Britain, Japan and the USA a real devalued currency like the yuan , and those comfortable `rich` will be in the 100th position.

China has 1.3 billion people and increasing. India had close to this number. If they can even reach 2/3 the per capita income of Americans, they would already be far ahead of America. Also, Chinese economy is underrated since they don't count their private sector.
