Pierce Brosnan was my all time favourite bond and i'll be honest Daniel Craig is working his way to the top of my favourite 007 list, but at the bottom of my heart I was so rooting for Julian Mcmahon to get it. I first saw him in Nip/Tuck and loved his portrayal of Christian Troy. He'd be a very Natural Bond, a mix between Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig. His "I don't know who wouldn't." line shows how much he'd appreciate and stay loyal to the role. I hope he is considered in the future!

FTW here's all the goss ive heard on the 007 subject: daniel craig was the first pick julian came after but then they were more keen, julians people must of realised that and aparently demanded more money also julian aparently said some negative stuff on the casino royal script, this help up thier decision on him and by the time they offered him the role he said he couldnt cause he'd signed his contract to do series 6 of niup/tuck anyways

He is James Bond. At the end of the day, I think his time will come to play James Bond. He came 2nd to Daniel Craig, so when Craig's time is up, Mcmahon will have a Licence To Kill.

Julian McMahon wouldn't have been a bad choice to play 007, I think Clive Owen would have been a better fit though. Daniel Craig made Casino Royale successful because he made Bond his own and not try to imitate Pierce Brosnan.
