  • I installed FumeFx a few days ago and I've got a strange and really bothering problem with it's UI.

    when I open the mail UI at first it looks ok, but whenever I want to move the window, it shrinks down from right side and I can't access to many parameters. even if I don't move the window, this problem occers when I close it and open it again. At first I tought it might be because of my screen size (1280x1024) but changing the screen size also didn't help.

    LMAO! I have my PC hooked up to a 700 watt reciever, and had it turned way up for the quiet vids before this one, lol, and that boom was AWESOME! The bass shook the whole damn house, lol. (made me jump too)

    You should hear my homemade explosion SFX strictly designed just for this HD 7.1 surround with this freakin subwoofer. You can feel it OUTSIDE. I love loudness. And explosions aren't explosions if they don't shake your house, and make your ears ring, IMO.

  • Oh, yeah... My friend has a huge 7.1 sound system that, when it's at 0 dB (-10 makes your ears ring from the other side of the house), shakes the lawn (and it's a pretty big friggin lawn; close to the size of a football field). That's one reason why the new Star Trek was the best one.

  • Hmm, a bit unrealistic, wood doesn't behave like that... I mean, the segments should flex and/or brake apart during the explosion...

  • 2 to 3 hours if youre fit . rendering idk becuase that depends on your CPU . and the calculation time depends on your cpu and how you set the spacing. but no..... not 1 week :D much much faster

  • How was the shock wave done?

  • It´s a tube with very small height expanding from the center of the explosion outwards very fast. This tube is an emitter for another fumefx simulation. You can use a rigwave instead of a tube too. Or try with particles like PF or TP.
