Back in the eighties and nineties, the Eagle Cheerleaders wore a leotard and boots for their uniform; I remember that, as I was a fan during that time.
And back then, those uniforms were a lot better than the revealing ones they have now. Those Vera Wang Uniforms are terrible, bring back the boots and leotards, they look a lot better in those.
