I am just reading her book "beautiful" and am reaching the end but I know that when that book ends it will be just "end of part one" as this lady is amazing and has many more amazing stories to tell and a great life ahead of her whilst her attackers have a life of looking over their shoulders ahead of them. @weneedtodosomething I am glad we know how you think, because that means you are def. someone that doesn't deserve an amazing girl. The red flag is when you yourself, think that it makes sense what happened, The fact is, it doesn't make sense. He should have known what he had cooled his freaking temper and attempted a reality with her. The fact is though, he was merely an obsessive fan that bragged to his friends he could 'tap' that, and when he had to force her, he hadn't a reason to brag.

I'm really shocked at the way some people talk about Katie on here. It's pretty disgusting. She is so special and brave. Not many people could have there face destroyed, be raped, looks ruined, career ruined, LIFE RUINED and be so courageous to carry on. Some idiots obviously don't appreciate real beauty. I think she is one of the most beautiful people in the world. God bless you Katie you absolute hero.

@3424lauren I agree with you, to be honest like she said before if she even had a pimple she would hide herself away until it dissipated, now she smiles with these scars! If anything she developed a better personality and still carries a beauty that many people don't within her features, even with those scars. She was one of those people God saw a higher potential for, (because as she admits before she was very selfish and shallow) and now she reveals that potential! Thank God for Angels.

The surgery stuff over time really did wonders for her. She looks damn near like she used to I'd say almost 97%.

just cant get my head round why they did this to Katie, I just read her book, he abused this poor girl, and then did this to her why, I just cant understand how someone could be so evil, she suffered terribly as a result, thank god she is on the mend. I hope they never get out among free people, they are just too dangerous.

what a joy to see you happy in yourself Katie...I read your book and the horrors you went through .I applaud your courage and would encourage everyone to remember that to be disfigured is not what one sets out to be it can happen to anyone....so never look away in disgust or shame or even pity....look the person in the eye and let them know that u understand & care. Her story is amazing. I am just reading her book "beautiful" and am reaching the end but I know that when that book ends it will be just "end of part one" as this lady is amazing and has many more amazing stories to tell and a great life ahead of her whilst her attackers have a life of looking over their shoulders ahead of them. A true beauty in many ways.

Just finished reading her book, "Beautiful". I giggled, smiled and cried. What she has gone thru is unbearable. What she is doing now is amazing! Helping others as she still is in a state of recovery herself. Truly and inspiration to all by far! Still very beautiful on the outside, she is just as beautiful on the inside! So touching to watch, she is the strongest and bravest person I know and she has gone through so much unimaginable pain both physically and mentally. Such a positive person and has a wonderful personallity. Her family, friends, doctors, nurses, and many well wishers have been so supportive. She is so inspirational to me and is the reason why I ''keep going'' through my daily struggles. She will always be beautiful. I hope i am lucky enough to meet her and personally thank her some day.
