What I saw (on CBS), was 1) very old folks standing up for their children's and grandchildren's interest in Medicare, and 2), some (?) well-over-60-year old, calling Ryan, "a damned liar," to his face.

Except for the aches, pains and proximity of death, being a senior citizen is GREAT!!!

Haha as a Democrat Im just sitting back and watching. We dont even need to show how big of idiots these Republicans are - they do it for themselves. Funny thing is that they STILL want to keep Bush tax cuts on rich, STILL want to subsidize Big Oil, while taking Medicare and Medicaid from the Middle Class. I dont understand how these people get into office when they only support the top 2% of the population.

It wouldn't be as bad if in Ryan's plan he didn't go a step further and also call for MORE tax cuts for the rich. It's like the GOP doesn't even care that you know who they really represent, they just count on their voters to be naive and dumb, and they count on Fox News to spin and lie.

The Republicans hardest job is to convince average Americans to vote against their own interests.

@spencerdev91 Here's my theory: "Republicans"-- actually the capitalist parasites who've infiltrated that party-- are against Medicare & Medicaid because they aren't allowed to exploit them in the manner they exploit just about everything else. Just look at what they've done with our defense budget. It's the biggest all you can eat, free lunch-- breakfast, dinner, snack, happy hour, schmorgasboard-- the power grabbing, greed mongers have ever pulled off. It's grand theft in broad daylight.
