The music you listen to doesn't define you, it's part of what you are anyway. I may be 42 but I'll be that raven haired goth for many years yet, much to my sons' shame. Bauhaus...part of me, as pretentious as it sounds.
A lot of them are. They gave us what we wanted, great music. Not what the record companies _think_ we want and what the masses just swallow. Hence, the downward spiral. The masses buy what they give them, so they continue being the devils right hand.
We, including all of you, want this. This is music. This is good not becuase somebody told you so. This is what you want. They play from their f*cking hearts.
Can't believe mr Murphy still gets away with playing vampire on stage.. hehehe
well i`m 25 and I like bauhaus,cure (faith,pornography,disintegration esp.),dm`s black celebration,joy division etc.80s alt.music was great uncompromising i dunno... lucky you`s who heard/saw it first hand
Hello ..... I'm soon 57 and I'm still into tne STOOGES, Steve Marriott .... raw , heavy music since my childhood !!!! only problemo (if there's a problemo) my young son David (18) laughs at me (he only likes classical music) when I do listen to my fav. groups !!!!!
no dear Lawanglawang I'm another 42 y.o. that love this m usic; I've a lot of material and i like going to see them live: The Cure, DM, And so on Saw the 2 years ago in Milano.Great concert
I'm 37, but this is still my taste. I remember loaning a Bauhaus tape to a friend about 10 years ago, and getting it back 10 minutes later hearing him complain that he would get "poetic nightmares" if he kept listening.

Isaw them in Seattle a while ago and Peter looked dead bored. They were not "on", as they were so well in this video.
Love it.
