  • Any suggestions on whats comin out of those retro headphones?

  • You're awesome!

  • Badazz man! That rocked, and is a difficult workout even without going to dead hangs on the pull ups. I know all you manhammers out there be hatin, but stop ODing on your own machismo and give this guy his props for a butt kickin grinder of a workout. Awesome. Loved it.

  • i did 100 of these in my gym today , they have a crossfit challenge every week and this week it was burpee-pullups, i made it in 8:55 without any rest , is that a good time ?

  • thumbs up if ur watching this because its the wod

  • @69NK58 Wod?

  • @DannyBoy443 workout of the day!

  • @69NK58 Acronyms my man. They need periods and explanations to newer folks! lol

  • I'll have to add a similar routine into my workout ~ thanks for the inspiration!

  • the closer you get to 100 do you feel this sense of weight being lifted? it always seems when I have a set # goal it seems so freaking brutal the closer I get to my goal #

  • Babbis the badass.

  • I am very impressed!! Good job!

  • Utterly brutal. Huge, massive, molten lava bombs of respect.

  • been doing these for like 3 months. my best time is 10 min 31 seconds. i do them in sets of 33, 33, 34. 30-40 seconds rest inbetween

  • You sir are a BEAST!

    Good Work.

  • @desertls1 Another strict pullup army buttram phagg. He's doing them for time moron. I'm sure he does plenty of dead hangs too in order to do this man jump pulls. Are you really saying there is only one way to do pull ups and all others have no value? You're a cu nt.

  • fake

  • we only had to do 10 of these in my body conditioning class, and i was dead. nice job man for doing 100

  • this man looks like a eminem

  • These aren't legit because he's jumping up to the top of the bar, resulting in hardly any pullup motion. A better test of endurance and strength is where you jump up to the bar, begin the pull from a dead hang, and return to the dead hang, prior to beginning the next burpee.

  • @desertls1 This is true . . .dead hang pullups would've been better. BUT you have to admit. . .this is STILL a serious feat of strength and conditioning!

  • @MrHeadwolf Not really, no.

  • @desertls1 With all due respect, when you post a video of you doing this workout with "ease" I'll accept that response.

  • @MrHeadwolf A video of me doing this workout the way he did it? Or do you mean a video of this workout done with proper form? There's a MAJOR difference. Done properly, it's not easy at all.

  • Holy shit...

  • 8 of them wore me out

  • Made respect!!!!

  • that must be an exhausting exercise I find sqaut thrusts allready difficult

  • Comment removed

  • Your video inspired me to attempt this myself.

I tried this for the first time a couple of months ago, and did it in 18:30. Every week I make an attempt and have always been improving. This week I managed 14:02. I found as soon as I started incorporating running into my routine I had the cardio to really make improvements. Thanks for posting this video. PS. To anyone making their first attempt, you will suffer like never before!

  • That's really hard try it??

    Oh hell no...

    I'mma stick to internets....

  • Nice bro

  • @SuperPavian Thanks mate!

  • Try push ups in it . It will be a killer workout. Nice video anyways.

  • @Homeruler99 He's doing pushups.

  • @peeplzchamp Nope. Hes doing burpees. In this case hes pulling hes legs back so it looks like a push up but its a burpee. Maybe it has the same effect as a push up.

  • in mother russia they call push ups super setted with pull ups burpee pull ups..

  • Beyond awesome!. I consider myself fit - but the max I can do these are 15. However hard I want to, I just cannot think of doing the 16th one. With enough practice, I can imagine myself setting a target of 25. But 100 is just insane.

  • you are nutz, gotta give you big credit man that is a hell of a workout, i think with the shape im in i could do it, but i really dont feel like ruining my week.

  • the 17 people who disliked this are fatasses

  • in soviet russia pullups pull you

  • Good work man, they are hard

  • This workout is called gi Jane

  • awesome. looks like a bloody hard work out.

  • i guess the avg. is around 16 mins. i did this in around 16 mins too: 16:37. shit hard as fuck. just laid on the floor for 10 mins. afterward.

  • I love this...its my favorite workout but damn you did it in a short time my friend....I plan on doing it today. However, im gonna add a squat in between as well and see how it goes....respect for a job well done!!

  • That looks like on hell of a ass kicking workout!! AmaZing

  • Seems like an inconvenient place for a pole on a basketball court.

  • @captaincabeman The horisontal bar gets hoisted up to the roof, then one can slide the vertical pole all the way to the wall on the right..:)

  • @babbis13

    That sounds SO sensual...

  • this is an awesome workout. i actually just tried it for the first time yesterday...boy did it gas me! final time ended up being 16:28.

  • no dead hang on the pullups?

  • I did 500 of this in 5 minutes flat.. is there something with me?

  • nice, i need to try these.

  • is the gi jane? workout

  • hell yea Im gonna try this... if i can do it ill upload a vid and put it as a response ;)

  • One word: Sick!

  • guys if you care a lot about your height, dont try this. im telling this to you because of my experience

  • @infidel94 Will it make a person shorter?

  • @blahmeblahblahblah no it just wont let you grow in height anymore

  • Greeat Workout

  • This man is a cyborg.

  • Hahaha you did pussy pushups even at the beginning.

  • @jhawins

Like to see you do it...

  • @jhawins He's not doing push ups! He is doing burpees. There's a difference ;)

  • @13andincrediblycutt This coming from a 13-year old kid who I bet hasn't even hit puberty yet.

  • I, myself, can actually do nearly 100 from dead hang using no jumping/momentum at all and I'm only 13 and all-natural(not even protein shakes).

  • @13andincrediblycutt Seems to me like you spend more time talking crap on other peoples hard work than doing any yourself. Get a life pal.

  • Useless display of strength. If they're not dead-hang they're not good, case closed.

  • @13andincrediblycutt this exercise is not supposed to be done strict from a deadhang. it is a conditioning workout done for time. by the way, do you realize how stupid you sound saying crap like "i can do 100 and im only 13"?

  • @eamonob84 Funny. I just checked this kid out & his account has been terminated due to violations.

  • Comment removed

  • @13andincrediblycutt "If they're not dead-hang they're not good". Well, that depends on what you define as "good", which you didn't specify because you couldn't because you don't know enough to articulate thoughts because you have no thoughts to express beyond "I can do more & this video shows less. Thus I am superior".

You mention strength, as if that's the only measurement of fitness, which it isn't. You mention your age too.

So simple-minded & a desperate cry for respect from anyone. (!)

  • ur fucking awesome bro! keep it up

  • i made it in 3

  • Hey at 1:22 you need to make sure that you are landing correctly as well. Even though you are doing this for time, your balance was awkward and a nasty ankle-roll will set you back for at least a good week. Your form is great though. @DriftKing781: This is not a traditional pull-up. It is designed to keep the momentum of your burpee going so you can transfer it to a pull-up. You will have to stop or slow down to ensure your body is straight for that. And 100 dead-hang pull-ups is pretty tough..

  • When you do a pull up, make sure your body is straight when you're pulling yourself up.

  • craziness

  • This is insane.

  • very impressive - I won't try it, I'll get rhabdo in the attempt!!!1

  • Careful with you knees there, that doesn't look kind to them.

  • Haha Cool Accent Bro...German Or Russian Maybe?

  • That's awesome, a killer workout for sure!

  • I'm doing it once a week as a HIIT exercise. When a friend asks me if it has a name, I answer "inferno" (hell in portuguese).

  • you rested a lot and skiped a whole lot FAKE AND GAY

  • @legendaryNAVYSEAL

    1. How else do you propose that he post a 20 minute workout (back) when the YouTube limit was 10 minutes?

    2. I usually skip to the end anyways... why would someone post a fake workout? He worked hard and did a good job. If it's all a lie, then he's guilty... it only hurts him...

    3. You should take "NAVYSEAL" out of your name if you're going to be so insulting.

  • looks like a crazy workout. prolly have your back looking nice!

  • nicee man

  • in mother russia, workout finish you.

  • @be0BSCENE Do you happen to be LawrenceRussia by any chance?

  • He kinda created his own beat.

  • im 13 200lbs body and i can do 72 pull ups in a row from dead hang strict no swinging and no...im not yling if u think i am.

  • After seeing your video I tried this. Thanks for posting and great job. I did it in 16 minutes flat. All the best to you:) Crystal

  • @cwestfitness Thank you! Very good time! Have a great weekend!

  • @babbis13 damn

  • @cwestfitness After seeing this video I tried it...and I passed out! Thanks for posting and great job.

  • Faker u do like 30

  • @stephen91855 do you want to watch whole 20 minute video as he is doing 100 burpeee pull-ups so send him message he shortened it

  • great job

  • damn, this dood gets it IN!!!!!!!

  • are these easier than dead hang pull ups? Are these good for beginners who are learning how to do pullups?

  • @xiaolintraditional90 way harder, burpees gas you. jumping pullups without the burpee is a good place to start!

  • 1001, 1002, 1003, 1004! oh its a deep burn! So deep! its not suprising, i don't know if you heard me counting, but i did over a thousand.

  • ur not even swating...u diidnt do them aLL

  • Awesome job! That's what I call a full-body workout! You are in really good condition.

  • I tried this the other day and halfway through decided I'd rather die by drowning... This shit is hard as hell!

  • @Kayzaks LOL nice!

  • You werent performing full pull ups, u didnt do all the negative movement but man... Im impresed o.o i cant even do 50 normal burpees xD

I will try it someday, who knows XDDD

Bye and sorry for my English.

  • good job my man.

  • i am goin to try this. then try and beat my time.

  • @babbis13 Hello sir, can you help me figure out what in the world's wrong with me? Because I tried normal burpees, not even the one with pullup like you are doing and actually I was trying the tabata interval with burpee as chosen exercise and out of total 8 rounds I couldn't last even 5 rounds. Of total 4 minutes, I could manage barely upto 1:40 minute and max of close to 2:00. But it's just been 2 times I did it, one last week and one this week. Why am I not able to do full 8 rounds? Age's 20.

  • @ravi00090 Hello!

Well, it sounds like you have some conditioning to do. Work your way up and you will improve every week.

  • @babbis13 Yep, I will keep going at it. I will probably just increase the rest time a bit maybe like what OfficeThug suggested. But I wanna tell you that I was a very skinny 2 to3 years back. I changed myself only by following videos that people like you upload on youtube. It is really much appreciated. You are doing a good job, helping a lot of people.

  • @ravi00090 Very cool to hear! That is why I post videos! I figured if anyone can find inspiration from watching me kick my own butt, great!! Keep training and enjoying life!

  • @ravi00090 You tried Tabata intervals? With burpees as a newbie?? They don't call Tabata Intervals "4 minutes of Hell" for nothing man, take it slow to start with!

Extend your rest periods from 10s to 40s, walk around during these periods. You should still do 8 reps all at once. Afterwards, eat something high in protein, high in carbs, very low in fat. Do this everyday and find other high cardio exercises for variety, like running. Do lots of research, look after yourself, and don't give up!

  • @OfficeThug Thank you brother, I think you are right about this being too much for a newbie. I will just prolly increase the rest time like you said. But doing this everyday is so damn difficult. And I don't intend to give up, I want to anyhow be able to do this, even though it may take a lot of time :)

  • @ravi00090 I wouldn't recommend burpees as your only interval exercise since they're pretty rough, you'd need to alternate with good lower body exercises too like running up hills as fast as you can in intervals, or if you lack the proper footwear try some Ski Squats. You'll need to learn how to squat properly first :)

Go google Brain over Brawn. It's a free e-book that will give you the ins and outs about everything inside as well as outside the workout. It's a good starting guide for fitness.

  • @OfficeThug Thank you for that. I am surely getting that e-book. And you are right about lower body exercises, because the main trouble i have with burpees is that my legs are the first part of the body to give up, there's this leg pain that does not allow me to go beyond 3 rounds of tabata burpees.

  • @ravi00090

If i may: the burpee or squat thrust though it looks easy, is based on three factors,

as mentioned below condition of the body(how much is your body used to)

secondly your weight( the more disproportionate( muscle(especially lean) vs more fat (bad)you are the more difficult it will be)

finally , the most important, the burpee is a compound exercise which engages all major muscle groups(close to 90% of the muscles in your body) so you should be fit all round to even attempt it.

  • @ravi00090 As he said, persist, and you will improve as time goes on. The body has to become used to - conditoned to - doing htis kind of work. Nothing's wrong with you; a lot of times a new kind of stress or working of the body can prove challenging until you get used to it. I'll bet you're much improved by now.

  • when it said 50 on the screen i only counted 26, im not calling you a lie but just wonderings. But i hope you get better with your chest infection (read from other comments) :D x

  • @iliamgillan I only included the start, middle and end of the session. Figured people would get tired of watching the same movement over 19 min...:)

  • Respect man!

  • that a boy!

    Nice work. :D

  • You sir, are a machine! I wish I could get fit again :(

  • @martywylde Thanks! You can get fit again. Start right now.

  • @babbis13 I'm trying, at the moment, my limitations are a chest infection that has resisted 625mg doses of antibiotics for the last 10 months :( I'll be sure to check out more of your videos though :)

  • @martywylde Ouch! That infection will give sooner or later man! Battle it out and never give up! :) Best wishes from Norway!

  • duuuude youre sick! keep rocking!

  • u hear metal ? its fucking awesome for training

  • @cHiVVaa Yeah, it gets the blood flowing!

  • this is insane!!!!

  • Can someone please tell me what the wooden ladder things are along the wall? I've seen them in gyms before, but I have no idea what they are for or what you call them.

Great video by the way, you are a machine!

  • Good work, man. I hope to get there sometime soon!

  • Good stuff!

  • Dude. Do you really u just did 100 deadhang pullups? holy shit. I'm going into the Corps and I've seen this Marine just got back recently and couldn't even do six.

  • @serialxkillerx No, I use the momentum of each jump to help the push up. The entire exercise is a continous movement, not isolated movements like many people think. The idea is full body conditioning, working mainly strength endurance and aerobic endurance.

  • @babbis13

mainly anaerobic endurance...but there is always aerobic endurance involved with stuff that takes a little longer thats true.

  • GUD ONE,MAN !!!

  • The most pullups I can do in a row are 7!!!

  • gooooooooooooooooooooooogd

  • THESE ARE MY FAVORITES!!! Great job, man!

  • Wow, that's brutal.

  • are u like in the army? or do any martial arts?

  • if u do 99 u do 100 :D good job!

  • You sir, are a beast.

  • Comment removed

  • my man is a badman! nuff respect

  • wow

  • Great Job man! Awesome accomplishment!

  • respect

  • Poor knees of yours.

  • check out my muscle ups videos

  • 1:32 No surrenderrrrrrrrr ;)

  • nice work man u must be a fit bloke

  • no thats bad

  • actually i made an "doing 100 burpee's fast" movie where i did 100 in 6 min and 40secs so thats not bad.

  • Nice work man! This one was tough!! Very mentally challenging.

    I hit this one Jan 22, 2010 in 10:16

...Then spent the next 10:16 in the fetal position.

  • Beast time man! Cudos! Now try 21-15-9 kipping pullups and burpees...;) Pure pain..

  • @jayrhodes ahahah

  • wow..very nice. great cardio and power. 5/5!

  • IT'S AN ALIEN!!! KILL HIM!!!

  • Do you typically do 10 with a brief break? I know I do bc I would die otherwise. Very impressive. I'm just getting through 3 sets of 10, but I do knees to chest for the jump since I don't have a pull-up bar. Great prison workout.

  • that is intense!

just burpees alone are hard enough!

amazing strength and endurance right there

  • I tried these after a couple mile run and never came close to hitting 100. :(

  • Nice bro, that is unreal, you are a machine!!! now i have to go try that, lol =)

  • Holy hell you're strong, looks like a nice workout mate.

  • a nice excersise, never saw this before..great for stamina too..you would think the jumps make it unproper but I i believe they also do a lot for your legs. abs and stamina...good stuff....

  • Stop hating, start motivating! Working out is not a sport or a competition. This workout will improve your aerobic endurance and your muscular endurance. Try it out!

  • how is he hating? everything he said was positive

  • It was not a reply but a general comment. As you know, one can reply by hitting the "reply"-button to the comment you would like to reply to. :)

  • oh, well it seemed like you were directing it towards him. anyway, good shit on the burpees. 10-15 regular ones and i'm wiped, but i've only been working out for a week lol

  • I strive to be that fit

  • nice work commrade

  • Dear Foxmaster007, You should be very proud of yourself and give yourself a gold star. Im sure your boyfriend will be very proud.

P.S. Your username makes hate you even more ;)

  • Very nice! Work on getting that time to 15 minutes!

For you other guys complaining he's not doing the exercise right, well he actually is! This is supposed to be a full body exercise where you push up (chest), you jump up (legs) and you pull up (back) .. All in an explosive way... So yes, jumping is important and is part of the workout. That's why it says ''burpee'' pull up...

    Keep training hard!
