Do these cars have breaks now?, When i had these and was younger you just had go and you had to ease off for tight corners and that was it. I have never seen a slot car do that before. Fun video though :)

@TheonlyZouga Some newer cars have brakes...No brakes on these, the magnetic downforce and tightly wound motors give the cars great deceleration. On some brands of slot cars the brake lights come on when the trigger (gas) is pressed. though I have wired some to stay lit until the trigger is pressed. Thanks for watching.

Hey!..I remember as a kid building slot drag cars...Here's something fun to see:

Put some talcum powder on the line...and it will do SMOKIN' burnouts!..without having to hold the cars...They'll even fishtail!... You have to clean the tires and track afterwards...or you won't get any traction...but it looks cool!... Let me know if you try it...I'd like to see it again...

It might help to first tape a paper card undeath the car...to keep the powder out...
