its a 64 catalina 2+2 421 4spd

its now a 455 5spd i couldnt find a 6spd that would fit lol

The object was to appear stock with the hood shut. I had to switch from a wing nut on the air cleaner to a regular nut to clear the hood - that's pretty close. You can see the nut in Dave's Twin 540 Chevy's at 1:55. What could i put in bigger that would clear the stock hood? Maybe you shouldn't tell me - this could get expensive...

Haha. well I know I have a co-worker who had a blown 383, and he lowered the motormounts so it would clear the stock 75 camaro hood. Just suggestions ^^

Very cool! Got any video of his car? I am 1/8" off the sway bar with my oil pan and I trimmed the bottom of the scatter sheild for groung clearance. I run solid steel motor mounts so that things don't move around (and cause the rubber ones break). Can't go much lower! I could maybe go cetrifugal blower instead of roots, but that's just not as cool.

My 2003 Whipple Cobra would eat that thing for breakfast and come back for desserts. I've run the quarter in 10.3 at 130+. All on a safe tune that puts down 650 to the rear, room for 4 and 20 mpg on the highway with the a/c on.
