@Tod661, LOL, when I was a Leaf fan back in the day, every time Lemieux had the puck, I as a spectator, was scared shitless. 1988, he split the defense, gets upended, and still put it upstairs. It was the most beautiful nightmare.

@theultimateultimatum Yeah the funny thing is Kovalev had better hands than both Jagr and Lemieux but he never gave it 100% that's why he is what he is now.

@SonnyA89, I think Lemieux does amazing things with what appears to be subtle and effortless movements. It just seems like he's not even breathing hard. Add that to his actual success and that's why I think he has the best hands.

@LloydChristmas777 Lemieux had great hands but he coupled that with a huge reach, strength and speed. He doesn't have the best hands ever. I think even Jagr had better hands that Lemieux. But Dats and Kovalev are unsurpassed when it comes to stick handling. The thing is that Lemiuex was great in all aspects of the game (save defense) so that's why he's the best player of all time (not greatest but best). Now give Lemieux hands like Datsyuk and he'd score even prettier goals.

However, eventhough Chara seemed to only get caught, his job is to see the breaking forward and cover him which he was absurdly pathetic in doing in this case. He was owned. Getting position and being able to stream by with barely a pick when there is no fall or weird contact, interference or the like on the D! The D is owned. Sorry. But it is no insult to Chara. Big M has done worse to better defenders.
