I never had a problem being able to tell who was who honestly, I think if you guys had gotten into the older ones(mostly the first one) you would've been able to tell...but then again me and my friends all got hyped of for all three, so it could just be me lol. and ya I noticed the nerdy looking extra guy from a couple different shows lol
What made the first 1 probably the best was you knew who every1 was and what their characteristics were opposed to the other 2 where 100s of random robots fall from the sky's..
I thought the 2nd one was OK. This one's definitely better though. For me watching Transformers: DOTM was like playing the game Bulletstorm, I loved it. Followable plot, mind-blowing special effects, great action and an awesome climax. I loved Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, she was smokin' hot. She was actually pretty good in this movie.
In my opinion the first movie was the best because Megatron was an excellent fighter. The movie series goes down hill after that. Sentenial Prime makes this movie some what respectable. The autobot totally sold out the Transformers and decide to be pets of the United States government.
I am a fan of Transformers G1 and all I have to say this movie straight up sucked donkey balls. Starscream the second in command of the deceptions gets pwned by a boy who works in the mailroom and Megatron gets pwned by a one arm Optimus Prime. The deceptions sucked butt. Every good movie has a good villian if they don't then the movie sucks.

Just got back from Dark of the Moon, yes shia was a douche, yes the effects were badass, yes for her first acting gig that british chick wasn't that bad at all, and in me own opinion Dark of the Moon is ranked up there with the first one.

I agree about not knowing who was who. The scene where they had 2 autobots and 2 decepticons (sp?) and they were all black and I was like "wait, who's good and who's bad here?"
The new girl in the movie made no sense at all. That whole "Love" thing was completely out of the blue, and I thought it was stupid. They made Megatron seem a little too weak. Pissed me off when they killed off Ironhide. The movie dragged on a tiny bit too long. Exellent Idea using a Ferrari 458 Italia; looked very sexy. Replacing Megan Fox so easily made me sad.
I loved the action of this film and the humour of it aswell but one of the bad things about this movie is that there's no clear bad guy:
Shockwave made appearances but was he fighting with Sentinel or not he never speaks with the other Decepticons he just seemed thrown in what's his purpose?
Megatron wore some shit rag and sat in the corner like a bum whilst the battle went on then just died like a bitch afterwards

Saw the movie and loved it. It was intense, emotional, epic. It's one of those films you go to for the fun of it. For all the haters I doubt you even watched the movie even if you have you aint seen crap. I've seen movies that make Battle Field Earth look like an Oscar winner. This movie can't be put anywhere in my bad film category because it was a lot of fun. There's nothing wrong with action movies and I don't see you complaining about the movies where people do nothing but talk all day.
I loved it. I thought Rosie was better than megan. The story made sense and it was based off a cartoon episode "Megatron's master plan" so that's nice for the fans. I knew which robots were which since I got all the toys :b and the humor was n't THAT bad. Now what was bad and totally unnecesary was that fucking scene with John Malcovich and bumblebee wrestling, seriously WTF! and some other bullshit that I don't remember butI enjoyed it. I went to see Transformers 3 recently too and have to say it was pretty good. This movie was much more darker and serious than the last two movies, for example the first movie, there was Glen the hacker he was random and a bit comical, then the second movie, there was Leo the roomate who put himself in weird situations and acted slightly stupid, these are the people who added character to the movies. I liked the movie, but the first will be the best out of the 3. I disagree on how you guys said there was no character attachment. I was pretty sad when Ironhide died and the near death execution of Bumblebee. I knew they won't kill off Bumblebee since he's so popular and Hasbro needs to make $ off their toys. I think they did a great job how they almost wanted to kill him.
I do agree with @PrettyMuchIt on numerous points. The introduction of the film is GREAT; really epic and serious, and then, BAM! Rosie's butt. The continuity of the scenes were rather jumbled and sometimes uncomfortable. But then again, it IS a Michael Bay film. haha
SO GLAD THEY GOT RID OF MEGAN FOX! Rosie actually did a good job as the new girl, and, as Erick said, she wasn't cringe-worthy.

Megatron in Transformers 3 looked like a poor beat up homeless guy. Felt sorry for him. LOL What I don't like about transformers is that even if a character dies, they always come back to life. I think they should of made Megatron stronger by having him and Sentinel Prime transform together and become SENTINEL MEGATRON!

i thought the 3d was good, but sometimes it felt like the background didnt know where it wanted to be, at one point optimus has his hand on his hip and it looked like the background was popping out through the space between his arm and his side. but i had a great time with the movie and was blown away.
Saw it once in 3D at the 9:00 showing, then snuck in 2D right after!
I thought ROTF was amazing back when it came out because I was so hyped up and was still letting out steam. Then I saw it again months after it came out on DVD and it became dull and boring. I'm sure the same will happen with DOTM but I can say I felt the most joy after walking out of the movie than the other two (that's saying a lot because I didn't feel that with the second).
i saw it in 2d and enjoyed the hell out of it. i honestly think its damn fine film. now i liked ALL the transformers movies and thought the humour was for each film after the first incredibly unneccessary. For transformers 4 i wanna see a for real serious 100% tone in a movie without stupid jokes. this movie was almost there but it was still awesome nontheless. NO CARING ABOUT THE ROBOTS? Man i was broken up when Ironhide died!!! He was awesome i loved his character from 1 and 3!id say 4.5/5

I loved it. I thought Rosie was better than megan. The story made sense and it was based off a cartoon episode "Megatron's master plan" so that's nice for the fans. I knew which robots were which since I got all the toys :b and the humor was n't THAT bad. Now what was bad and totally unnecesary was that fucking scene with John Malcovich and bumblebee wrestling, seriously WTF! and some other bullshit that I don't remember butI enjoyed it. Like jeremy said, good time no alcohol required.

I went to see Transformers 3 recently too and have to say it was pretty good. This movie was much more darker and serious than the last two movies, for example the first movie, there was Glen the hacker he was random and a bit comical, then the second movie, there was Leo the roomate who put himself in weird situations and acted slightly stupid, these are the people who added character to the movies. And even though Megan Fox wasn't in the latest movie, it still turned out good. soo..yeah!!! :)

I liked the movie, but the first will be the best out of the 3. I disagree on how you guys said there was no character attachment. I was pretty sad when Ironhide died and the near death execution of Bumblebee. I knew they won't kill off Bumblebee since he's so popular and Hasbro needs to make $ off their toys. I think they did a great job how they almost wanted to kill him.

I do agree with @PrettyMuchIt on numerous points. The introduction of the film is GREAT; really epic and serious, and then, BAM! Rosie's butt. The continuity of the scenes were rather jumbled and sometimes uncomfortable. But then again, it IS a Michael Bay film. haha
SO GLAD THEY GOT RID OF MEGAN FOX! Rosie actually did a good job as the new girl, and, as Erick said, she wasn't cringe-worthy.
For what it was, Transformers: Dark of the Moon was really good. I agree with you guys.

I'm not sure if you guys just like to bash mainstream movies or what (honestly you cant be pretentious enough to think the Sundance Film fest movies are worth anyone's time). I loved transformers 3. I thought the story telling was absolutely fantastic, well thought out and very well executed. Trumps the second one by a tenfold. One of you said some crap about not connecting with the characters--its the THIRD movie you ass...if you haven't connected yet then there's no hope that you would now.

You guys are like "oh story development was shit and I didn't like it because I like perfect movies that make me cry from the story". Megatron in Transformers 3 looked like a poor beat up homeless guy. Felt sorry for him. LOL What I don't like about transformers is that even if a character dies, they always come back to life. I think they should of made Megatron stronger by having him and Sentinel Prime transform together and become SENTINEL MEGATRON!

i thought the 3d was good, but sometimes it felt like the background didnt know where it wanted to be, at one point optimus has his hand on his hip and it looked like the background was popping out through the space between his arm and his side. but i had a great time with the movie and was blown away.

Just saw this movie yesterday in IMAX. Definitely worth the money at times it seemed sort of real.
I missed where the extra was...does anyone know where it was?
I was really confused about the robots and there were so many recognized actors but it was so random and unnecessary I think.
Never saw the second one but action wise this movie was AMAZING!! Sam's character was weird...and the whole job thing was stupid.
I did like the way they incorporated Rosie though. They did it very well.

Saw it once in 3D at the 9:00 showing, then snuck in 2D right after!
I thought ROTF was amazing back when it came out because I was so hyped up and was still letting out steam. Then I saw it again months after it came out on DVD and it became dull and boring. I'm sure the same will happen with DOTM but I can say I felt the most joy after walking out of the movie than the other two (that's saying a lot because I didn't feel that with the second).

For transformers 4 i wanna see a for real serious 100% tone in a movie without stupid jokes. this movie was almost there but it was still awesome nontheless. NO CARING ABOUT THE ROBOTS? Man i was broken up when Ironhide died!!! He was awesome i loved his character from 1 and 3!id say 4.5/5
