@BiGBaRZz I dont know what mouse you are using or dpi or settings. But according to mx518 1600 dpi and my settings I still can't get my xim3 to compete with it in fast movements compared to how fast my hand moves and the translation to screen movements.
@TEAMGODdotNET I use a Razer Deathadder 1800 dpi. On the eagle eye the distance the crosshair in game goes depends on the speed at which you move your mouse so it must have a lot of acceleration. Does the Xim 3 have a system to remove acceleration? because it would be easier to aim precisely if it did
@BiGBaRZz Yea I have my xim3 at -25 and sometimes -50 acceleration. Still slightly behind the eagle eye and aimon when making quick twitch wrist movements to 2 points. I did a video of this it's up under input lag. I compare the xim3 and aimon to show what I'm talking about. Keep in mind I have well over 300 hours logged on my xim3 and I have tried so many settings and multiple mice and displays. I show the xim3 performing better on an lcd monitor than lcd tv. Input lag shows even more
Would like to know if it is possible to connect something other than a mouse and keyboard to this, for example, a flight stick and a xbox controller at the same time (and be able to use them at the same time), reason I'm asking, I want to be able to flight jets, helis with a flightstick and when i get out I still want to be able to grab the normal controller and get into infantry fights with it...(without having to disconnect one or the other when I want to switch...which is a pain) thanks
@TheCamerafreek That sounds pretty cool I don't know to be honest I don't have a flight stick to test it out on. Maybe on their forums the admins can help on xim3 and on penguinunited
Just got a Hori setup today, and I'm destroying console scrubs on MW3 with minimal effort. I'm glad the argument is finally put to rest, as now PC gamers can finally prove without a doubt what mouse/keyboard is ultimately superior in every way.
@g0atze No one ever argued that a mouse wasn't superior to a controller, I'll argue that WASD movement is giant pile of shit though. In fact, the only people saying anything were elitist PC douchenozzles who claim they're better at the game than console players by default which is god damned mother fucking ignorant. Anyone using a control scheme they aren't used to is gonna get bent over, whether or not it's a PC player going to a controller or a console player going to k-board and mouse.
You get what u pay for. I use the xim with a ps3 controller adapter and it works fine. The micro movement of every system (aimon/fragfx/eagle eye)is horrible compared to xim. And left to right twitch was easy for me to program into xim on a high dpi mouse with appropriate Y/X ratio settings
@malahl The delay is there its slight but mirroring the hand movements to the screen in quick twitch action seems better on the aimonps elite and eagle eye. Maybe because of the direct usb line instead of a daisy chain.
@malahl Now now on price to performance think about this the xim3 with a gamer mouse etc and keyboard this is around $250-275. Aimonps elite is $70-80. The different I notice is the xim3 has it beat in micro micro circles talking pixels here. But overall left to right wrist twitch is better matched on the aimon and eagle eye. Daisy chaining the gtmaxx for ps3 use does seem to put a delay on things. Plus it isn't ps3 supported anyway. Been tuning them all for a year now.

@AJotica Sup man if you have 200 to throw down for a wired gamwpad and xim3 this is at the top of the list. If you want to save some money about 60 the eagle eye is good also. They are both good the xim3 is ultimate when it comes to smoothness. Eagle eye though slightly mirrors quicker twitch movements. aimon elite is the number one console mouse it hangs with very good movements and functionality with the buttons on the mouse and wand. I like ps3 but its me I admit the graphics look better on
@svenno2810 I always used the mx518 the last 5 to 6 years 1600dpi. I tried rat7 and deathadder I just like either the feel of the mx518 or just the optical over laser it is just preference and ergonomics most likely. But even with the aimonps that is laser I prefer the aimonps elite which is optical. It feels more responsive over laser I know it sounds crazy I'm no fanboy I'm just going by experience of my own playing. Same goes for the g500 something just didn't feel right.
@MotokoSAC2 To be honest you can pick up either one of these and within an hour or less be able to beat either one of these with the other. The smoothest is xim3 hands down , Aimonps comes next and then eagle eye comes next. Comes down to preference for some reason no matter how much I tune my xim3 I cannot get it to match the overall wrist speed to screen movements the aimonps and eagle eye match. I go back and fourth some days trying to find out I am still trying.
@MotokoSAC2 Aimonps I like a lot cause the left stick replaces 5 button presses "forward" left, right ,backward, click to run. All the buttons are on your right thumb on the mouse. Anything to cut down some times to perform tasks doesn't sound like much but every millisecond counts.
upd. I'm asking mainly because i'm a PS3 player, and XIM3 for example doesn't have native PS3 support, How well will it perform for Killzone3, MAG, Dust 514, Uncharted3? Do not want to stuck in endless attempts of configuring the device right, which was a problem when fragenstein first apear. Thats why i'm confused choosing between this three controllers. I want something to put good headshots and turn 180 in one swipe.
@warchefseed Xim3 is great but I was unable to get around this slight delay. Very noticeable when creating a message and tapping the keyboard from 1 letter to the other the delay is very noticeable. I had to dial down to 720p for it to be equal to my aimonps or eagle eye at 1080p if this makes any sense. The input lag was more but it isn't hte xim's fault it may be the adapter or keyboard emulation to the ps3. Cause the xbox controller that is setup left and right had no delay.
@TEAMGODdotNET Looks like it's worth buying eagle eye and aimon elite, and give it a try. Cuz i'm not shure aimon ps elite will dominate over aimon ps, but hope so. Just in case need something else to try... Cuz all this stuff with RF interfearence which i still canno't fix no matter what made me sceptical. (Tried all manuals on tuact forums, RF scan simply don't work). I liked the part where your buddy done 360x3 turn using eagle eye, if it's precise and smooth i'll give it a try, Thanks a lot.
@warchefseed Dude how old is your aimonps ? Return it if you have rf issues. I haven't had any issues with aimonps and now with elite the all rubber body and optical I just like better than laser and no rubber grip. Also they said this has constantly hopping to keep from getting rf. But try to get a new one if yours is messed up.
@TEAMGODdotNET Bought on ebay no warranty (i'm not in US) :) On the tuact forum bunch of topics about problems with bluetooth, wirless headset 7.1 and all that kind of stuff. Do not know what's up with mine aimon. So i'll just buy both. (One guy in our clan found out that a kitchen oilcloth spread with coarse cloth beneath is one of the best musepads for Aimon and fragenstein. :) funny but true this corse cloth works great).
@warchefseed I think some people are using usb extension for the wireless dongle to be closer to the mouse and no interference from the headphones. That sounds pretty cool kitchen oilcloth with coarse cloth man I never heard of this stuff I gotta go google. Learn something new every day. Thank you
Hi thanks for your answer on my previous comment. Please help me get clear some details on controllers. I was a fan of quake and quake 3 played different type of FPS on PC since then. Now i'm playing on PS3 in MAG generaly. I had Fragenstein. Now i have AimONPS. But after 2 month it got some issues with freezing mouse and R1 not respondin sometimes. And it always seemed a bit too slow no matter what. What too choose best? New Aimon elite, eagle ey or XIM3 (price doesn't matter). Fast and precise
So I was looking into buying a XIM3, but found the Frag Shark was cheaper. In your review on the Eagle Eye you were saying the Frag Shark wasnt good. So now im left with Xim or Eagle Eye. I'm really leaning towards the Eagle Eye becuase money is an issue for me, but my real question that no one on the Xim site would answer is, how much of an advantage does this give you? I'm fine with the controller, but wouldnt mind spending some money to improve my game. But will it.. Thanks for your response!
@robrodwashere If you are a pc gamer you are more comfortable with your motor skills of aiming down on someone than using your thumbs to aim. So in that yea it will give you an advantage but balance out a gamepad user who is average with aim assist and add in some lag... It really is anyones game at that point. The waters get even more muddy if your team sucks... lol. Depends on your own tactics you can make a $30 console mouse trump a $160 mouse.
@robrodwashere If you are happy with the shark I say stick with it but having seen all the emulators it only gets better more tuning ability and lots more support by the other companies. Don't settle.
@TEAMGODdotNET Cool thanks. Yea im pretty consitent on the game pad, average about 15-25 k 10-15 d a game, so im alright with the game pad but using the mouse just seems nasty. I used to snipe in team fortress and that was so much fun. If that level of fun can be brought to the box, oh boy. I dont have any as of yet, just doing some research for now. @matieo101 Really is a close call on this for ps3 eagle eye is exclusively supported xim3 isn't for ps3. Not to mention the price difference. Aimonps elite also is up there so it depends on your needs. I just did a video of the aimonps elite 1.5 firmware it really performs great.
@Partyx16 Great mouse I was using it today it was really awesome. I like the overall feel I wish it was wired but I noticed no delay pulling 10 to 1 kdr 3 games in a row 44-4 etc.
@tenisclub If money is no object xim3 if you need a keyboard xim3 and eagle eye if you want a wireless setup with a wand and mx518 type gamer mouse the aimonps elite.
Sorry, I'm using 1.3, and MW3 Firmware (not Mag). xb elite v2. I've tried it with MW3, GTA4, and Fallout. With GTA4 and Fallout3 the shapes I'm getting are square. (I think its following the shapes of the deadzones programmed in the games) With MW3, it's diamond. The surfaces I've tried were cloth, plastic, wood, and metal. Some seemed responsive. Haven't tried a mouse pad yet... Is not using a mouse pad my problem? Hate to keep spending money :/
@I9IIEIIYIIEIIS Yea man I saw people are having problems with that mw3 firmware. I stay away from that firmware MAG algorithms work for a lot of games that's why I use that one.
@I9IIEIIYIIEIIS In my demo of the aimon xb elite I used the 1.1 firmware it ran really good I just set in game to insane and 2 or 3 right tilts on the mouse and that was it.
Eagle eye 3.0 really does give Xim3 a run for the money in all seriousness. 3.0 overall is really nice and around $50 it's very impressive the video is up and it is much smoother than Eagle eye in this video.
@TEAMGODdotNET Many of the ST's for XIM3 are made by reverse engineering the aiming code for each game. You can't get more precise than that. Also, the simple fact that the XIM3 has it's own LCD screen that allows on the fly adjustments/switches to 10 other ST's and 50 profiles, the use of separate ADS translators, switchers, and a much larger range of device support (PC joysticks, steering wheels, etc) make it the most superior adapter on the market.
@TEAMGODdotNET I can see a young gamer on a strict budget who only plays one game frequently getting the Eagle Eye, but since a budget doesn't concern me and I switch between about 12 different games where I use the XIM3 each month, The XIM3 is what I need. I use KB/M because being a PC gamer, I prefer it, and it gives me an obvious advantage without going into the realm of "cheating." I am paying more for the best. The eagle eye supports turbo, something I consider cheating.

@I9IIEIIYIIEIIS A lot of these games you can just nudge the sensitivity up and continue on without having to update firmware every 2 seconds that would be irritating. Mouse is like $80 controller $30 good mousepad $15-$25.

Updating I really didn't notice anything different what you see in most of my videos is right out of the box testing so people can fine tune it to their own liking but it shows the instant potential. Which mousepad you using?

@TEAMGODdotNET Well I got my AimonXB Elite today. It's pretty nice. There's one thing tho. when I try to do small slow circles. they're diamond shaped instead. And vertical movement at slow speed is very jaggy. The hardware is V2.0 I downloaded 1.4 firmware, and the MW3 V.1 profile. Still diamonds. Anything I can do?

@ekinteko You are in need of a smaller keypad are you on a budget? If you need a keyboard and on a budget the eagle eye. If you have no budget xim3. If you like the left stick of the controller and wireless mouse Aimonps. The tac just performed irritatingly... Felt so dizzy after using it since it jittered everywhere.

@ekinteko Not a problem we would have tried the XFPS commando but we saw an early release of it and the aiming was just as bad if not worse than the Tac. The crosshair was jumping all over the screen with slow movements. Belkin nostromo, Cyber Snipa or G13 logitech should do good as well.

@casbah85 If you like the wand the Aimonps elite is the better mouse than the shark. If you want skies the limit go for xim3 but you would then need a Razer NAGA for the extra buttons a wand works with that. The price is around 160 for the xim3 then $30 for the wired xbox controller so about $200. The aimonps elite is like $79

What's the best option for PS3, AimonPS or Eagle Eye? I know they're different because one uses a keyboard and the other doesn't, but which one is better relating to mouse precision? Xim3 is too expensive.
@Gabrielnfs The eagle eye is very good so is the aimonps elite. It's hard to call both have different feels and are at the top of the list of top 3 to buy. If it's going by price then eagle eye but you also gotta get a gaming mouse keyboard etc. Also if you are in need of wireless then aimonps.

@JASON599GTO try using something other than paper as a mouse pad, something with variation in color. you wil get errors on plain white paper for sure. on solid colors the mouse has trouble knowing its moving because its basically "looking" for movement

, i just bought a eagle eye with a g500 5700dpi mouse, but when i play bf3 on ps3, the mouse movement does not as good as you,i done not hava a mouse pad , i just use thea table and normal paper, but still the same i set the sensity of the eagle eye of Xy asis to 2, the problem is that, when try to move the mouse in only one direction, sometime will fast, sometime will slow. Just like have jump when i move very little
bro your mouse sensitivity is 1000x too fast to be good at aiming... try swiping 8 inches to do a 180 and get used to it. you'll get used to it after a few days and never want to go back to your high sensitivity.
@chazden I have no complaints with the precision of these devices. Which device are you talking about? The Xim3 though slightly lags behind the others when it comes to attempting 1:1 movements when moving your hand fast "quick twitch".

@bitanGGa If I'm going to recommend something it is going to be the xim3. I personally never used the EE but GODJOEY did. The question you need to ask yourself is: Do you want to use a mouse and keyboard or a hybrid controller?
I got a PS3, Battlefield 3 and from earlier gaming on the pc a Logitech G9x and G13 game pad.
I just want to ask if there’s a different between the eagle eye and the xim3 with the connection, support, and functional possibility to the ps3. I heard that the G13 doesn’t work with the eagle eye but that’s not really a problem.

@bluebanana333 I believe EE has a new firmware upgrade. Depending on how much you are welling to pay I'd say go with the xim3 but don't discount EE. GODJOEY has been trying to get their new firmware to work and we haven't really tested it yet. So either wait for GODJOEY to look it up and we will let you know or look up what other people are saying about it.

Someone asked him which one is better between the Eagle Eye and the Hori Tactical Assault Commander 3, and he said XIM3. So, out of Eagle Eye, Aimon PS, Hori TAC 3, and XIM3, XIM3 is the best.
@FLYPino019 Xim3 is the ferrari of these adapters and if you have $200 to throw down it's a great. The other alternatives are eagle eye and Aimonps both are also good at a low price of 50 to 80 dollars.
@WhorrorPrincess Actually the eagle eye feels slightly faster than the xim3 very slight. More noticeable in Killzone 3 where the weighty controls add even more delay.

if your looking for a good mouse for pc the logitech g700 gaming mouse is awsome have one love it. hope it works with the xim3 and i hear it works with the eagle eye.
@thcpatty Is price no concern? Xim3, eagle eye though has movements overall that I still cannot duplicate entirely with xim3 and that is about $50. Then if you want great all around movements and a wireless option Aimonps at around $70.
XIM1 if you want all the features "unlocked". You need to have a pc / laptop though and make custom profiles, but it's way cheaper and more efficient than anything else on the market. XIM3 if you lack the time or skill to get XIM1 working.
They don't sell XIM1 anymore for various reasons, so you must be lucky to get it second handed or more fun, to build one yourself.

@Blessnero if the xim3 is anywhere near as good on the ps3 as it is on the 360 it shouldnt even be in the same comparison video as these other 2 , it really is that good, its 100 % 1-1 pc feel , the only limiting factor is the turn speed limit programmed into the games .

you need to move the mouse the smallest amount possible to get a true comparison. the difference you will really see is when you move the mouse with xim 3 the smallest amount possible it will move the smallest amount possible. with the other 2 you can watch it jump
@Cursedfenix I don't notice this the only game I saw a slight deadzone was Killzone and no matter how fast or slow you move the xim3 has a hard time with that title.
@STE4LYOURFACE These were standard settings, I gave up on smart translators for this title long ago. Game wasn't that good to even care but I still see better response time with movements on the eagle eye and aimon albeit the xim3 is smoothest overall it but it lags slightly which just compiles on with the "weighty movements" of killzone 3. This is what we have observed after 100's of hrs using all controllers.

In fact, the only people saying anything were elitist PC douchenozzles who claim they're better at the game than console players by default which is god damned mother fucking ignorant. You get what u pay for. I use the xim with a ps3 controller adapter and it works fine. The micro movement of every system (aimon/fragfx/eagle eye)is horrible compared to xim. And left to right twitch was easy for me to program into xim on a high dpi mouse with appropriate Y/X ratio settings

@malahl The delay is there its slight but mirroring the hand movements to the screen in quick twitch action seems better on the aimonps elite and eagle eye. Maybe because of the direct usb line instead of a daisy chain.

@malahl Now now on price to performance think about this the xim3 with a gamer mouse etc and keyboard this is around $250-275. Aimonps elite is $70-80. The different I notice is the xim3 has it beat in micro micro circles talking pixels here. But overall left to right wrist twitch is better matched on the aimon and eagle eye. Daisy chaining the gtmaxx for ps3 use does seem to put a delay on things. Plus it isn't ps3 supported anyway. Been tuning them all for a year now.

@AJotica Sup man if you have 200 to throw down for a wired gamwpad and xim3 this is at the top of the list. If you want to save some money about 60 the eagle eye is good also. They are both good the xim3 is ultimate when it comes to smoothness. Eagle eye though slightly mirrors quicker twitch movements. aimon elite is the number one console mouse it hangs with very good movements and functionality with the buttons on the mouse and wand. I like ps3 but its me I admit the graphics look better on

@svenno2810 I always used the mx518 the last 5 to 6 years 1600dpi. I tried rat7 and deathadder I just like either the feel of the mx518 or just the optical over laser it is just preference and ergonomics most likely. But even with the aimonps that is laser I prefer the aimonps elite which is optical. It feels more responsive over laser I know it sounds crazy I'm no fanboy I'm just going by experience of my own playing. Same goes for the g500 something just didn't feel right.

@MotokoSAC2 To be honest you can pick up either one of these and within an hour or less be able to beat either one of these with the other. The smoothest is xim3 hands down , Aimonps comes next and then eagle eye comes next. Comes down to preference for some reason no matter how much I tune my xim3 I cannot get it to match the overall wrist speed to screen movements the aimonps and eagle eye match. I go back and fourth some days trying to find out I am still trying.

@MotokoSAC2 Aimonps I like a lot cause the left stick replaces 5 button presses "forward" left, right ,backward, click to run. All the buttons are on your right thumb on the mouse. Anything to cut down some times to perform tasks doesn't sound like much but every millisecond counts.

upd. I'm asking mainly because i'm a PS3 player, and XIM3 for example doesn't have native PS3 support, How well will it perform for Killzone3, MAG, Dust 514, Uncharted3? Do not want to stuck in endless attempts of configuring the device right, which was a problem when fragenstein first apear. Thats why i'm confused choosing between this three controllers. I want something to put good headshots and turn 180 in one swipe.

@warchefseed Xim3 is great but I was unable to get around this slight delay. Very noticeable when creating a message and tapping the keyboard from 1 letter to the other the delay is very noticeable. I had to dial down to 720p for it to be equal to my aimonps or eagle eye at 1080p if this makes any sense. The input lag was more but it isn't hte xim's fault it may be the adapter or keyboard emulation to the ps3. Cause the xbox controller that is setup left and right had no delay.

Just in case need something else to try... Cuz all this stuff with RF interfearence which i still canno't fix no matter what made me sceptical. (Tried all manuals on tuact forums, RF scan simply don't work). I liked the part where your buddy done 360x3 turn using eagle eye, if it's precise and smooth i'll give it a try, Thanks a lot.

I haven't had any issues with aimonps and now with elite the all rubber body and optical I just like better than laser and no rubber grip. Also they said this has constantly hopping to keep from getting rf. But try to get a new one if yours is messed up.

Do not know what's up with mine aimon. So i'll just buy both. (One guy in our clan found out that a kitchen oilcloth spread with coarse cloth beneath is one of the best musepads for Aimon and fragenstein. :) funny but true this corse cloth works great).

Now i'm playing on PS3 in MAG generaly. I had Fragenstein. Now i have AimONPS. But after 2 month it got some issues with freezing mouse and R1 not respondin sometimes. So I was looking into buying a XIM3, but found the Frag Shark was cheaper. In your review on the Eagle Eye you were saying the Frag Shark wasnt good. So now im left with Xim or Eagle Eye. I'm really leaning towards the Eagle Eye becuase money is an issue for me, but my real question that no one on the Xim site would answer is, how much of an advantage does this give you? @robrodwashere If you are a pc gamer you are more comfortable with your motor skills of aiming down on someone than using your thumbs to aim. So in that yea it will give you an advantage but balance out a gamepad user who is average with aim assist and add in some lag... It really is anyones game at that point. The waters get even more muddy if your team sucks... lol. Depends on your own tactics you can make a $30 console mouse trump a $160 mouse.

@matieo101 Really is a close call on this for ps3 eagle eye is exclusively supported xim3 isn't for ps3. Not to mention the price difference. Aimonps elite also is up there so it depends on your needs. I just did a video of the aimonps elite 1.5 firmware it really performs great.

Sorry, I'm using 1.3, and MW3 Firmware (not Mag). xb elite v2. I've tried it with MW3, GTA4, and Fallout. With GTA4 and Fallout3 the shapes I'm getting are square. (I think its following the shapes of the deadzones programmed in the games) With MW3, it's diamond. The surfaces I've tried were cloth, plastic, wood, and metal. Some seemed responsive. Haven't tried a mouse pad yet... Is not using a mouse pad my problem? Hate to keep spending money :/

Eagle eye 3.0 really does give Xim3 a run for the money in all seriousness. 3.0 overall is really nice and around $50 it's very impressive the video is up and it is much smoother than Eagle eye in this video.

@TEAMGODdotNET Many of the ST's for XIM3 are made by reverse engineering the aiming code for each game. You can't get more precise than that. Also, the simple fact that the XIM3 has it's own LCD screen that allows on the fly adjustments/switches to 10 other ST's and 50 profiles, the use of separate ADS translators, switchers, and a much larger range of device support (PC joysticks, steering wheels, etc) make it the most superior adapter on the market.

@TEAMGODdotNET I can see a young gamer on a strict budget who only plays one game frequently getting the Eagle Eye, but since a budget doesn't concern me and I switch between about 12 different games where I use the XIM3 each month, The XIM3 is what I need. I use KB/M because being a PC gamer, I prefer it, and it gives me an obvious advantage without going into the realm of "cheating." I am paying more for the best. The eagle eye supports turbo, something I consider cheating.

And vertical movement at slow speed is very jaggy. The hardware is V2.0 I downloaded 1.4 firmware, and the MW3 V.1 profile. Still diamonds. Anything I can do?

Basically I want the Hori TAC3 (judging from your review) with more accuracy.
-I hate constantly losing with the DS3 controller.
-Want to simply pick up 'n play.
-Not fiddle around with the settings too much/often.
-I tend to stick to one game (MW3 now)
-A fullsized keyboard is too large for my coffee table
(I will leaning into it from the living room couch).

@ekinteko You are in need of a smaller keypad are you on a budget? If you need a keyboard and on a budget the eagle eye. If you have no budget xim3. If you like the left stick of the controller and wireless mouse Aimonps. The tac just performed irritatingly... Felt so dizzy after using it since it jittered everywhere.

@ekinteko Not a problem we would have tried the XFPS commando but we saw an early release of it and the aiming was just as bad if not worse than the Tac. The crosshair was jumping all over the screen with slow movements. Belkin nostromo, Cyber Snipa or G13 logitech should do good as well.

@casbah85 If you like the wand the Aimonps elite is the better mouse than the shark. If you want skies the limit go for xim3 but you would then need a Razer NAGA for the extra buttons a wand works with that. The price is around 160 for the xim3 then $30 for the wired xbox controller so about $200. The aimonps elite is like $79

@JASON599GTO try using something other than paper as a mouse pad, something with variation in color. you wil get errors on plain white paper for sure. on solid colors the mouse has trouble knowing its moving because its basically "looking" for movement

bro your mouse sensitivity is 1000x too fast to be good at aiming... try swiping 8 inches to do a 180 and get used to it. you'll get used to it after a few days and never want to go back to your high sensitivity.

I have a question to the eagle eye and the xim3:
I got a PS3, Battlefield 3 and from earlier gaming on the pc a Logitech G9x and G13 game pad.
I just want to ask if there’s a different between the eagle eye and the xim3 with the connection, support, and functional possibility to the ps3. I heard that the G13 doesn’t work with the eagle eye but that’s not really a problem.
can anyone give an advice which product I should buy? thx al

@bluebanana333 I believe EE has a new firmware upgrade. Depending on how much you are welling to pay I'd say go with the xim3 but don't discount EE. GODJOEY has been trying to get their new firmware to work and we haven't really tested it yet. So either wait for GODJOEY to look it up and we will let you know or look up what other people are saying about it.

@kamboi Yea this is all done on ps3 just need a 7 dollar adapter.

Someone asked him which one is better between the Eagle Eye and the Hori Tactical Assault Commander 3, and he said XIM3. So, out of Eagle Eye, Aimon PS, Hori TAC 3, and XIM3, XIM3 is the best.

@FLYPino019 Xim3 is the ferrari of these adapters and if you have $200 to throw down it's a great. The other alternatives are eagle eye and Aimonps both are also good at a low price of 50 to 80 dollars.

@chrissy8ful I like the eagle eye cause you can use a wired mouse leaves no room for doubt. Overall faster movements and lots of tuning.

The 1st one looks like it has a tiny delay. Does it? XIM3 seems the best. Does it work with every game? (not a fan of that Aimonps controller thing)

@WhorrorPrincess Actually the eagle eye feels slightly faster than the xim3 very slight. More noticeable in Killzone 3 where the weighty controls add even more delay.

if your looking for a good mouse for pc the logitech g700 gaming mouse is awsome have one love it. hope it works with the xim3 and i hear it works with the eagle eye.

@thcpatty Is price no concern? Xim3, eagle eye though has movements overall that I still cannot duplicate entirely with xim3 and that is about $50. Then if you want great all around movements and a wireless option Aimonps at around $70.

XIM1 if you want all the features "unlocked". You need to have a pc / laptop though and make custom profiles, but it's way cheaper and more efficient than anything else on the market. XIM3 if you lack the time or skill to get XIM1 working.
They don't sell XIM1 anymore for various reasons, so you must be lucky to get it second handed or more fun, to build one yourself.

Anybody knows if the xim will be improved for the ps3? Its it worth the money? I have both xbox and ps3 and need something for both. Now the xim fits the that demand but will it work.does anyone have more game play with the ps3 and xim3

@Blessnero Yes it will work for both you just need a 7 dollar adapter for the ps3. Is it worth the $ if you are gonna play a lot then of course.

@Blessnero if the xim3 is anywhere near as good on the ps3 as it is on the 360 it shouldnt even be in the same comparison video as these other 2 , it really is that good, its 100 % 1-1 pc feel , the only limiting factor is the turn speed limit programmed into the games .

you need to move the mouse the smallest amount possible to get a true comparison. the difference you will really see is when you move the mouse with xim 3 the smallest amount possible it will move the smallest amount possible. with the other 2 you can watch it jump

@Cursedfenix I don't notice this the only game I saw a slight deadzone was Killzone and no matter how fast or slow you move the xim3 has a hard time with that title.

@STE4LYOURFACE These were standard settings, I gave up on smart translators for this title long ago. Game wasn't that good to even care but I still see better response time with movements on the eagle eye and aimon albeit the xim3 is smoothest overall it but it lags slightly which just compiles on with the "weighty movements" of killzone 3. This is what we have observed after 100's of hrs using all controllers.
