I agree with the above comment - these maniacs dont even recognise Israel's right to exist! Israel is quite right to defend itself, one day the rest of the world might be glad they did.
Tony Blair called for restraint on both sides. If he had demanded Israel stop immediately A) they would have quite rightly ignored him an B) it would leave Israel totally defenceless. If Israel had stopped Hezbollah would have advanced and continued. Israel's response was disproportionate, so what? They were attacked first. War isn't supposed to be fair.
Thats right. Putin did not use proportionate force against the Chetnian Muslim terrorists. He bombed them into the stone age; yet no one from the international community criticized him.
I know you didn't mention Kosovo, that's my point. Genocide in a Muslim country and Tony Blair was the only heavy weight international leader that did something about it an he didn't have the backing of the UN. The IRA had a dispute with a British territory. Lebanon is a county who allowed a militia to rain down bombs on a neighbouring country quite different.
I also didn't mention Zimbabwe, Rwanda or any other countries where people have been opressed and slaughtered. We didn't step in in those cases as there is nothing in it for us. America doesn't care about democracy - who helped overthrow a democratically elected Chilean government to put the loveable Pinochet in power?
"Israel's response was disproportionate, so what?" - tell that to the children who've lost their entire families due to Israels actions. The kidnap of two soldiers did not warrant the deaths of over 1000 lebanese civilians. Similarly our involvement in Iraq has led to 1 Iraqi in 40 being killed. At the end of the day, you're entitled to your political views but I don't think a Youtube video post in the comedy category is really the place for this discussion.
kidnapping the Israeli soldiers is an act of war and that's not only what Hezbolla did, they fired 4,000 bombs a day on Israeli civilians. Just love how you stick up for the terrorists.
I didn't mention Kosovo nor did I state any of your many "assumptions". I do not agree with our involvement in the Iraq war as there was no threat to us beforehand. Getting involved in Iraq and Afghanistan has since made us a target for terrorism. Israel's horrific bombing of Lebanon is the equivalent of us bombing the hell out of Ireland to get rid of the IRA and should have been strongly condemned by our government.
And who started the LebanonIsrael war! Hezballa kidnapped two soldiers; which is an act of war and rains 4,000 bombs a day down on Israel! If the IRA did that to England today, what would you want your goverment to do? Nothing??
What about the people of Kosovo? Where was the left then? Where was the Arab league? Where was the UN? On the one hand you critique Tony Blair for interfering in Iraq then in you're very next sentence you critique Tony Blair for not interfering in Lebanon, quite silly. One assumes you were against the Iraq war, because you consider it illegal. First of all it wasn't because there were plenty of UN resoltions which said it was legal to take action.
You're right, in comparison to the people in Afghanistan, Iraq and Lebanon I have got it pretty "good". Blair is a liar with blood on his hands. Try watching a news channel other than ITV or Fox.

The Muslims in Kosovo have been gradually taking over that country with force ever since.
