NY has some very cool claims to musical fame no question, but it's not the centre of the musical universe. London was probably the musical capital of the world back in the 60's, but times change. The storm swirls round and the 'eye' finds itself some place else. Montreal has produced some excellent bands of late as has Berlin and Stockholm.
Gaawww... I hate FAN MADE videos that are lame for GREAT SONGS. Well, at least it's not "ANIME" cartoon that would have NOTHING to do with the song.
