It's a small town with less than 8000 people and as you can see in the video not a whole lot of traffic. Life in towns like that are pretty laid back and an accident at the speeds those cars were traveling would be unlikely (not to mention just a fender bender). The cop should have pulled him/her over to let them know but he was probably busy reading the paper or scratching his butt.
@Son37Lumiere I lived in a town with less then 800 for 22 years and two other small towns after that. I was also a EMT and had plenty of calls with local and threw traffic. 25 isn't all that fast if the car coming out of a driveway sees you coming from the wrong direction, or aren't busy with some other task other then looking for a car to head at them (it happens). The officer should have at least gave them a warning, since they didn't seem to pull, or turn off.
I hate to say it but I live here...and they are stupid enough to do this, and now they all have their fancy chargers in a small town when other towns need more cruisers period.
He could have been on break. They have to follow labor laws as well. They have to take their 15 minute break every 2 hours and their lunch just like everyone else they aren't allowed to work during it.

@Son37Lumiere I lived in a town with less then 800 for 22 years and two other small towns after that. I was also a EMT and had plenty of calls with local and threw traffic. 25 isn't all that fast if the car coming out of a driveway sees you coming from the wrong direction, or aren't busy with some other task other then looking for a car to head at them (it happens). The officer should have at least gave them a warning, since they didn't seem to pull, or turn off.

He could have been on break. They have to follow labor laws as well. They have to take their 15 minute break every 2 hours and their lunch just like everyone else they aren't allowed to work during it.

@molinarok you are wrong, plain and simple. i have worked at jobs with a poster from the Labor Board posted in break rooms stating if a break is required, after how many hours, how long break is to be so on and so forth. i have also filed a grievance for not getting them. so yes, if you work over so many hours you are entitled to a break as well as a lunch. maybe you shouldn't open your mouth when you dont know what you are talking about?
