  • One thing i wish Bruce would do more of? Play his god damn guitar!

  • 2 deaf ppl watching youtube videos... fags. This was epic!

  • If you don't like this, you don't like music...period. Love to see them do an album together; best combination ever!

  • 2 people dont like it...btw....FUCK YOU!

  • really--Only Ness can do a guitar solo I'm interested in.

  • Two people got Bad Luck...

  • what a fuckin´feelin´!!!!

  • @panchomoon That is the dumbest thing I have ever read. You seriously need to learn the definition of what a sell-out is. To call Mike Ness, Bruce Springsteen and Eddie Vedder sell-outs is moronic.

  • One of my favorite quotes that came out after Mike released Cheating at Solitaire was ..and by the way, Misery Loves Company is a truly great track with Bruce on that disc, was .."Mike Ness is the closest thing to Bruce Springsteen the West Coast has to offer"...or something close to that. I grew up a Bruce-head but finally found Social D in 1991 and have been hooked ever since. How awesome to see these guys together on stage.

  • superduper totaly awesomeNess!

  • Fuck...what I would give to play alongside either of those two. Their two of my biggest inspirations EVER. Mike is number one ever, but Bruce is definitely on my top ten.

  • Fucking lame! Eddie vedder, The "Boss!" Be on the look out for Mike Ness and Celine Dion. Once the real deal, now striving for acceptance from the upper echelon of the rock/pop hierarchy. Fucking sell out Ness!

  • @panchomoon1 Don't ever mention Mike Ness and sell out in the same sentence. Few people in music keep it real like him.

  • social distortion is by far the most underrated band of all time, listen to this!

  • " some people go to church on Sunday, others they pray at home. You tell em there aint no god ,and that they are better off standing alone....." Epic quote

  • Oh my God, Mike Ness' tone is like the tone of the gods!! His solos always sound so kick-ass!

  • Bloody awesome!

  • Bruce is the lucky one....Mike's the real deal. The dude is humble and still amazed that he's where he is.

  • Isn't about time Social D makes it into the rock and roll hall of fame!

  • @tlh235 I think they will. It's just gonna take time. Mike Ness is just getting better and better as a song writer and performer. He still has alot of years left in him to create great music and when you have a Springsteen in your corner to endorse you your in pretty good shape.

  • God, did you ever think that you would see Mike Ness and Springsteen jam out together? It doesn't get any better than this. In this day and age anyway.

  • wow.. always hated bruce... now I just dislike him. laugh.

  • WOW that kicks ass......

  • wish the whole song was there.

  • Ooh that got me all over excited.....

  • Awesome to hear E street band playing Social Distorion! Epic!!

  • This is... holy fuck...

  • Two baddest motherfuckers playing together. Fucking excellent!

  • oh my shit!!! the boss and mike!

  • I think this version is better than Social Distortion's original recording. Or any live performance, for that matter.

  • Two of my heroes raging on the guitar!!! Goosebumps!!!!!

  • Who's better looking; Bruce or Mike?

  • @KleWdSide I don't know who's "better" looking. But Mike definitely looks more bad ass. In my opinion.

  • this is another reason why bruce is awesome!!!....he shares the spotlight with bands like Social D and Gaslight Anthem..

  • Best version of that song ever! Bruce was kickin' ass with the solo in the beginning!

  • interesting, when i play along to social d. tunes i have to tune down 1/2 step just seeing now he almost always plays with a capo. all live videos - a capo,

wonder why? better guitar action? now i have to learn his songs all over again and figure what key it's in,no wonder some of the solos were kinda odd to play in open standard tuning. I dig social D, and the Boss is an outstanding song writer, not bad on guitar either, better than i thought.

  • There is nothing quite like the growl from Mike Ness's guitar when he hit's any chord. I love it.

  • Bruce with Ness...I'm surprised the Universe didnt implode.

  • This is awesome!!! I think Mike Ness is about 1 of maybe 3 people on the planet as cool as Bruce! Awesome video!

  • Love this thanks

  • you can see mike is beaming like a teenager

  • They look like little kids playing their first ever gig!! Good stuff

  • sick song..... mike ness is THE KING OF PUNKROCK

  • why whats wrong with a song with 3 chords? it sounds awsome! music is all about the sound. so what if its an easy song. it sounded great. social distortion is great and so is bruce springsteen

  • Sad that the two actual guitar players on the stage are stuck strumming along to this.

  • yeah it would be cool to see van zandt throw a solo in but this is bad ass

  • 0:25 -1:28 is ama-za-zing!

  • really great, fantastict!! they all had a little problem to finish the song haha, but this is normal!!!

  • Bruce Springsteen holds Mike Ness in high regaurd thats saying alot. Social D is very underrated in my opinion. They never even won a grammy before. Wheras bands like Green Day have already won two grammy's.

  • @LaspeziaPunk27 Fuck the grammys!!

  • So much for Bruce not being a rock guitar player.

  • wow.

  • Fucking epic

  • yep. XD

  • HOW COOL is this!!?? ..Bruce the BOSS digs Social D. I love both muscicans myselfs. Gonna see Mike in South Carolina next week!

  • @shakey64 Bruce Springsteen + Social D. = The Gaslight Anthem

  • @JanKenk123 fuck yes,thats what i say

  • @shakey64 a dream come true ;) wish fun in SC !!! Social D. Rockx!

  • @shakey64 nobody top´s this shit!

  • giving respect to Mike Ness is the best thing Springsteen has ever done

  • to both museken and big red scorcher, dam straight!

  • museken....i feel yer pain. i love sd, too, BUT, Bruce brought him out 'cause he knows good shit when he hears it and Mike came out for the same reason. These two have been buds for quite awhile now. Mike's done stuff with Bruce at the Stone Pony and so on. Relax dude, it's all good! Peace

  • Shame on the world if they have not heard SD... The bands been pissed on and passed by . These fucking guys are better than any band out there including Bruce.. Why would Bruce bring them..Why?.. Sorry I'm so sick of this shit...Do you know what it takes to write and play it ...than it rules and you never hear it because some corp, ignorant prick who can't do it walks away. Bruce knows SD should be Number 1. I hurt in the 80's SD brought me out. SD without a doubt deserves more.

  • well,if some peolple believe that's just one god they're wrong...cause there are two gods and they play rocknroll

  • fucking brilliant

  • SILVIO DANTE is awesome!!!

  • mike ness.. nothin fake.. all real man

  • I bet this show was awesome!

  • I was there!! Fucking Sweet. Mike Ness and Bruce kicked ass together.Very cool!!!

  • You were there? Lucky you! :)

    /Oscar.

  • @iamworkingonadream Yes I was..great show. I have seen SD many times in my youth in the LA/OC area they are great! It was a treat! believe me...Peace and keep it Bruce baby! JM

  • @LBjim

ARRRRGG!!! Can I touch you? Maybe some of it will rub off on me.

  • @LBjim Hope you realise how damn lucky u are!!

  • @LBjim Fuckin´ lucker ;) thats awsome!!!

  • omygod this was great last night! What a great show I think it was even better than Wednesday. Mike Ness gotta find out more about him....

  • You don't know Mike ness? ;)

  • INCREDIBLE!!! I can't stop watching this, I started playing rhythm to it! Mike and Bruce have similar styles, perfect for each other. I always thought Further On Up The Road sounded like a Social D. song (hell, Johnny Cash liked it too!)

I was hoping so bad Mike would be a guest with Bruce, I'm flipped out today he was! Thanks for posting!!!!

  • Oscar, this rocks!! So much power and energy!!! ...and Mike Ness is great, too!!! Thanks for posting!!! *****

  • Bruce's favorite album of 1992:

    Somewhere Between Heaven And Hell!

    They're PERFECT together!!!!

    Rock and roll guitar heaven!!!!

  • Anothe great one, thanks Oscar!!
