Others are saying CO2, but I'm pretty sure you'd have more of a CO (carbon monoxide) threat. May want to invest in a CO/Explosive gas detector if you don't have one. You wont feel any shortness of breath or burning of the eyes/nose with CO, you'll be fine one moment, and passed out the next.
I would suggest you 2 b really carefull heating your garage in that way ,it will quickly burn oxigen and produce co2.
You should have a heat exchange chamber and a pipe running trough the roof or a window like a common wood stove, than just use the burner to heat the chamber instead of wood .
Once warm, the system will push out the fumes and co2 trough the pipe, the heat will radiate and still heat the garage, wile forcing some fresh air in the room.
sweet heater nice flame i'm going to build one of these but not for my garage!! but i'm most likely going too use methane as the gas, best known as (natural gas) for the burner for some project i might want to build to heat some thing
do you have the parts list for it thanks and Peace Ben
hi there
you should have a look at the artfull bodgers waste oil furnace
its a lot cheaper to run than propane!!

even tho BTU is not only wrong but also a hillbilly unit...
it would be equal to 30kW of heating power
which it is not nearly, unless u mean 100.000BTU after 10h burning
by the way - BTU is a unit of energy and kW for power
in other words: a standard 2kW elektric heater could make 1.000.000 BTU if u let it run long enough (about 150h)
use watt or kilo-watt (1000 watt, 1 kW) next time to avoid such errors
