. Cairo was disgusting, dusty and evidence of poor hygiene everywhere, crap food, no nice hotels ( i tried to find one) and the men are creepy towards western women. The hotel staff were the rudest i've come across, everyone was ill and the traffic is terrible. i came to see the pyramids....and will never go back.

Cairo is the most filthy city I have ever been to, litter, sand / dust / dirt, pollluted, the Nile is full of crap and the people all stink because of their lack of hygiene and the heat. @egyfan147 because the men are perverts and won't leave western women alone, people are always trying to sell you stuff or make a detour in a taxi to their friend's shop. the heat makes the locals stink, all they do is chat on their mobiles and the place is FILTHY. the pyramids is full of litter / rubbish and is not looked after well, plus the people trying to sell stuff is so annoying. I did behave myslef but have never met so many rude hotel staff in all my life. I WILL NEVER RETURN.

Every word that is useful was discovered post 1800, and is in German or English. Everything before then is alchemy, sorcery, religion, whatever. Names like Fritz Haber (ammonia, key component of fertilizers world wide, solved hunger in europe, as well as inventing dynamite), Wittig (discovered the wittig reaction, look it up), Krebs etc. are all german names. Because they're german. Aristotle was a great guy, not so great at chemistry.
