  • what do you have around his neck i cant figure it out i've watched other bridle less and bareback vids but i just cant figure it out

  • It's called a "savvy string" in the Parelli program. Basically I'm using it here as a "safety net" in case things go wrong so I still have control in an emergency situation. Shoki's brakes are better with a neck rope than most horse's are in a bridle.

  • thanks for replying i forgot i even commented on this video

  • This is an awesome relationship between horse and rider. This is very inspiring, I have watched this over a dozen times.

  • Good riding and a very nice Arab too!

  • looks really good!!! she has such a nice trot, u got a great one there!!!

  • Wow beautiful :D He's an arabian right?

  • Yes, he's an arabian! Cute too, huh? :-)

  • great response, I would love that much WITH a bridle!

  • Believe it or not, when I first got this horse, I could not steer or control him even in a bridle and bit! The Parelli program has convinced me (and you see the evidence here) that control has nothing to do with equipment and everything to do with building a trusting relationship and a common language!

  • I love when I watch people ride bridleless and bareback, it is such an awesome thing - I am about to start Parelli Level 1, with my horse, and hope to accomplish this. On what level do you start to ride bridleless?

  • You will never regret getting started with Parelli. Congrats on making that commitment! It is not until Level 3 that you will achieve bareback and bridleless riding, but everything you do in Levels 1 and 2 prepare you for it! Don't skip steps and follow the program... and you will get there. Best wishes!

  • You should email your videos to Pat and Linda!

  • I'm so glad you are going to get started on your Parelli journey with the Level 1 pack. You will never regret it, I promise!

  • thanks!

  • i'm just saving enough money for my own set of parelli level 1 gear. You and Shoki look great! I looked at your other videos and Shoki certainly looks more comfortable bridleless and bareback.

  • Wow, you two look really great! I love how he follows your focus, he has a nice trot. Congrats!

  • You will definitely get there with Mel if you follow the program! Congrats on getting to L2 and enjoy the journey. You are getting to the really fun and engaging stuff now...

  • Great work, how long have you been doing pnh?

  • Thanks! I've been studying PNH for about six years. This particular horse (Shoki) has come a long way!

  • That is so great, I hope to be aboe to do that with my horse mel one day, we've been doing pnh for 18months and are working on level two, it is really inspiring to see others doing things makes you realise what is possible.
