  • I have Clear on a plan that caps my speed at 3.0 max but I get about 4-5 all the time but I never buffer in HD. Clear has been the best. I have used comcast in the past and it was out a lot. At&t was just bad. With at&t i never got over 1.0mbps. I have a lte verizon Phone and i have sold wireless since the late 90's and with wireless phone signal speeds don't necessarily change with signal at one bar or full bars. either way its connected. with Clear wimax it seems that i get faster with full sg

  • i heard sprint was switching to lte technology in mid 2012 i have wimax because it was cheaper.

  • Lte is much faster as of a network but there is no device out there that will show how much faster it is from wimax lte phone vs a wimax phone will be about the same speed

  • What am I watching???

  • lost!!!! great show until last two seasons which is when it got really corney

  • Wait does LTE devices make an interference sound when you put it near an audio device like a speaker or microphone? Like GSM phones do..?

  • @tanman1346 Not sure havnt heard one yet but it does have a GSM card for the LTE

  • @tanman1346 It does for me :\

  • lte might be faster for now, but when more and more people get it, it is get slower, but the main thing is Wimax, is truly unlimited. Verizon is 5gb cap

  • @strobster I have unlimited 4G via my thunderbolt. Some people on the xda forums said they used 100GB in a month!

  • @strobster I have unlimited 4G via thunderbolt. Some people on the xda forums said they used 100GB in a month! The cap is for the usb dongles/modems. We will see what the future holds for LTE but from my experience it does circles around Wimax, Clear is now doing research and testing 10-20x LTE which means sprint is likely interested in LTE.

  • Yea lte is much much faster. Metro PC's lte is like way faster than any wimax

  • Wimax is much slower than lte.

  • @TheVoid47 Yup

  • I need this phone. I could be wrong but Wimax seems like amplified wifi

  • @flex215 I believe you are correct. The phone is very nice! Not much to complain about, could have a bigger battery but it is still breaking in.
