@TheLovesoul1 I don't see that. Consciousness is a subjective thing. If something is conscious, then it is like something to BE that thing. That, to me, is consciousness in the fundamental sense of the word. When we talk about 'energy', on the other hand, we're talking about something that we think of as objective.
its not the you literally anihilate the photons but that by the time it takes you to see them, it is already new ones there so the next person will see those new photons of light. novelty. this happens at such a fast quantum pace that our conscious selves dont recognize it, but our subconscious operates VERY fast.
for instance look at at an atom under a microscope and take a picture, then take another a moment later. the electros will be in different positions everytime. check out quantum ph
well if a photon hits your eye, what happens to the photon? does it keep going straight through your skull or does it get received as information and stop traveling?
well put. I actually had ideas of this a few years ago, never really reading into it or anything . So then i depicted it through a tattoo. Its just sick to hear this guy talking about it.
I might add though, I do not believe it is annihilated in the sense that its dead. Rather, once it becomes "trapped" in a thought (information), then on to an idea, goal, then something new in this phisical reality, it (the photon) lives on WITH that reality, whatever it may be. Weather it be a piece of art, a theory, or a hug. This is what gives our crations thier so called "life"...
BTW I just in a Holiday Inn express last night : ) : ) : ) LOL
what he is referring to is quantum mechanics, specifically the collapse of the wave function. At the sub atomic/ quantum level- everything exists in superpositions (multiple places at once) - but once conciousness recognizes any given object, the electrons that makeup that object collapse down into one form and that is the one you see. He is proposing that, if you and I both look at an apple the photons and electrons that you see to make up that apple are LITERALLY different particles that mine
To me,as he described a photon, it is in fact the "god" particle. If it causes everything to exist and happen then it is that thing we call god.

consciousness to me is energy.

@TheLovesoul1 Yahshua said I am the LIGHT of the world. So yes Yahweh (God) is Light Yahshua (Jesus).

awesome stuff.

at the end he says as you see the light, you annihilate it.
What? How does looking at the light (matter) make it "not exist anymore"?
Answer that, and I'll be blown away.

I would go with stops traveling.

Well these quanta may notbe in different places at once, but different times at the same place...
