That in essence is what pisses me of about the whole issue- Why do you blame the Poles for the Holocaust? WE DID NOT DO IT- WE WERE INVADED AND OCCUPIED BY A FOREIGN AGGRESSOR- kapichi? Google "Righteous among the Nations of the World" and who is the biggest receipient of the award. Why don't you just stop all the whining and move on! Polish people are the same- always whining and reminiscing about how much suffering we went through by Russians and Germans.. Move on and make the future better!

@slilov You must not have heard about the infamous book by Jan Tomasz Gross entitled "Neighbours" which was widely commented in the Polish media, basically he was trying to shift the blame from Germans to Poles- that angered a lot of people because the book was very popular and facts were completely misrepresented. We hear it all the time in the media and that is a complete lie, because as much as Jewish people suffered we also have and a lot of ppl sacrificed their lives to save them.

I have recently found that most of the Pfferbergs actually perished in Treblinka not Lublin/Majdenek. They were deported to Kielce, Poland from Lodz, Poland. Also the Shapiro's were murdered in Zhitomer, Urkraine, with distant cousins on my Savta Sharpiro's murdered in Babi Yar.

My fathers family the Pfferbergs, were from Lodz. My mothers family the Shapiro's were from Surzazh, about 10 kilometers from Kiev, in the Ukraine. Grans family including my great grandmother, aunts, uncles, countless cousins died in Babi Yar, Kiev, in 1941. The Pfferbergs suffered the same fate most of them perishing in Lublin/Majdenek. This story was shared by my family and we loved it and we cried. Thank you.
