doug and reb really get after it...great pair of guitar players...Doug plays the standard blues scales like he is on steroids and turbo charged...Reb is a beast -- jazzy with some reggae phrasings and some serious badness...man I wish Tommy Aldridge was still with them, his playing is classical in it's roots, such build/release in his style...Tichy is ok, but he's just covering him, where Doug and Reb are building on their predecessors

When they played it in donnington with vai and vandenberg it was children of the night but this riff is completly different, i think they just put some random (but cool) guitar riff and the ''are you ready to rock'' from children of the night, but i'm shure is not the same guitar riff.

I hear a lot of how great Brian tichy is and I agree, but he's no Aldridge. This song is a rhythm rock showcase and along with ozzy's "no rest for the wicked" inspired my guitar play the most. So many riff changes, it's hard not to love and a lost art in rock music.

Being a guitar player for almost 30yrs I enjoyed seeing this setup of whitesnake flive for a few times more then when Vai was in the band, reb and dough fit here much better then Steve who is, alongside with EVH, the most innovative guitar player ever. But I gotta say that tommy aldrige fits here like noone else. Incredible...he totally overshadows reb and dough.

The last time I saw Whitesnake was back in '89. The lineup was Tommy Aldridge, Steve Vai, Adrian Vandenberg, and Rudy Sarzo. Vai was great at his instrument but his style really didn't suite the music. Tommy was tight as always (played the same drum solo as on the Ozzy/Randy Rhodes Tribute album.) The backing vocals sucked....thanks to Sarzo and and Vandenberg.

This is THE BEST lineup I've seen yet! Thanks for the up!!!
