it's hard for me to do anything when I'm schizophrenic because it's party time with my delusions, even if I don't like them, I do because it's a reward. Now I have the opposite problem where I can focus, but I don't really want to. The fallen are the only ones I have a problem with. They were here last night, but they let me sleep, were gentle. Someone else went down. I'm the corrupted innocent.
Good to hear your negative syptoms are getting better. I will say negative sypmtoms aren't really dealt with by most antiphyc meds it somthing you have to deal as they come.
i'm somewhat of a semi expert on psychotropics, seeing as to how ive been on most of them, the only time i recieved haldol by injection was when i was too out of it to swallow pills...as a matter of fact i didnt know id recieved any needles until 2 years later when i read that i had in my docs medical chart;anyway...
not wanting to get out is a sign of depression not CPS or SAD...haldols an antipsychotic not an antidepressant.you might wanna drop the NP and see someone else...
I doubt that you are an expert or even semi-expert on MY situation, so really, please do not tell me which meds I should or shouldn't be taking. I know what antidepressants and antipsychotics are and the differences between the two. I am also taking other meds (including antidepressants) besides the Haldol and I am getting the best care. Really, don't assume you know that much just because you have been on a lot of antipsychotics.
Glad you're feeling better :-) I've heard you say a few times that you've felt better once you've got your injection. Maybe re-watching your videos could help you work out any links that are going on?
Don't feel bad about putting up videos where you talk about feeling unwell or bad! I've been having a shitty time recently and you put things into words that I've been feeling but were just this wordless mess in my head. Thank you for that :-)
Great! I'm glad you're feeling better and hope it keeps up.I've had a couple of great days too.But of cource we know we have our ups & downs with symptoms of Schizophrenia.Ever since I discovered YouTube I've wanted to do my own videos, but I get overwelmed and don't do it.Glad you do,I love your vids, they put a spark in my day.Getting outside often is important for me.I learned this from taking care of my doggie, who unfortunattly died 3 days before Christmas.Love Ya! JK
Wow- dreading school, not wanting to leave the house and not wanting to go to class, feeling anxious and irritable- I feel all those things and don't have schizophrenia! Do you think it all is attributed to insufficient meds/schizophrenia? Everyday things becoming a chore sounds quite normal for me.. esp. in the dead of winter.
Yay! What a difference a day can make! It's so difficult to know what's going on with our bodies? I know what you mean about little things being a chore, I get that way at times too. :)
I'm so glad you're feeling better! I like your sheep shirt (or is it PJs?) hehe.
I'm the same way, when I'm feeling down I procrastinate small things that should be easy. I don't even put off hard stuff, just little things, it's weird.
This gives perspective - compared to another video I recently saw about injections for schizophrenia. It was about the injections causing symptoms and/or not helpful. Also, I am so glad you are feeling better. *****
Picking apart what makes your mood change can be difficult. The weather, social interactions, what you eat, your sleep, memories that are brought up, hormones, etc. can all affect it. Maybe it's also the winter and your anxieties over school and fitting in and such?
