Hm, Kilborn's last season... Weird seeing him on the Stewart set. Question for long-time TDS fans: when did the shift to focusing on politics come into play, here, or when Stewart appeared?
I miss these days. Does anyone else remember when John Stewart took over and he had that standup special that was all about politics. They played that thing like 5 times a day in the week leading up to Stewart's debut as host. It was very obvious they were positioning him as a political guy for the show.
i wish it was 1998 again and i dident give a sh!t about anything other than going to school making dens and whatching voyger the best times i ever had now im just a pissed of adult lol how times change but i still watch voyger which gives me my sarenity but im still pissed off ggrrrrrrrrrrr
I think Ralema was talking about the scene where the guy smashes the chinese guy's head. What music are they using as the background music for five questions? Does anyone know?
I know your comment was from a month ago (meaning you've probably found out yourself already), but I went looking and found this on Wikipedia (which can't be taken at face value, but what the hell):
"Jillette was the primary voice announcer for the U.S. based cable network Comedy Central in the 1990s."
@ammarios, I don't think so. I'm a Trekkie through and through, and in my experience the guys who call themselves 'Trekkers' are the uptight snobby crowd who want to pretend that they're more sophisticated than the rest of us.
@Sintar07 Well, what you like to be called is up to you. However, it is widely known and commonly accepted that "trekkie" is considered derogatory(it became to be synonymous with "someone who has no life, no job, lives in mom's basement & does nothing but watch ST all day, has no social skills or sex-life..",after which self-respecting ST fans decided they didn't want to be associated with that and that loving Star Trek doesn't have to mean you're a "Trekkie"(loser)..so ta-da "Trekker" was born!
@Sintar07 Personally, though, I don't care what whoever is calling who what... all I know is that I really like Star Trek and that I am a big fan of Voyager especially... Trekkie, Trekker or whatever label... couldn't really care less lol
@ammarios, kk, fair enough. It's just that 'Trekker' as a term has become a pet peeve of mine ever since that one infamous rant (can't find it atm) with the guy insulting trekkies and declaring himself a trekker.
i love how kate walks on so gracefully :D

This comment has received too many negative votes show
Craig Kilbourne was a better, funnier host than John Stewart.

No he wasn't.

Its a matter of opinion.

Well then you have to write "I think that..."
Otherwise it looks as if you're stating fact.

I have removed the rest of lilduffo's and your comments. The name calling was getting a little out of hand.

what's kilborn doing now?

@NegativeNick He's about to get a new show on Fox. I'd rather watch the daily Simpsons rerun it's replacing.

The right answer is indeed "stun", AND its Trekkies NOT Trekkers (Roddenberry should know). ;) But who cares? She's brilliant as Captain Janeway!
Tobbe767 3 years ago
Well I do like her discription of the difference!
janewayish 3 years ago
@Tobbe767 the right answer was Stun, yes, but actually it IS Trekkers not Trekkies.... Trekkies is a derogatory word used to describe ST fans ...
