Yes, I see what you are saying. I know for certain that there are many immigrants who contribute just as much or (in so many cases) more than, native born Americans. It is a shame that a country that was once known as "The Land of Opportunity", is now discriminating so strongly against not only the Muslims referenced here, but to our neigbors to the south, who only want to earn better wages and live a better life.
You can't point the finger at these people, when the education system is to blame at the end of the day, and the central government in many countries, is doing little if anything at all, to change people's perceptions. We'll get there when we work together, but for now, it's just endless war...
Minorities such as the Sikhs. A better education on different religions and beliefs, would go a long way. And not just in the US. In the UK as well, where "Religious Studies" is just a look into 3 religions- Christianity, Hinduism and Islam. Other cultures are ignored and a majority of the people I've met, think Sikhs are Hindu or Muslim!
You have a good point about people not speaking up because they're not being targetted. And you're right- things WILL probably go so far as to you being next, or me, or the next person to view this video. It's unfortunate that things have gone this far for the Muslims, just because a minority of Muslims, are extremist. But the stupidity of a lot of Americans, REALLY amazes me because these Americans target NON Muslims, thinking the people they attack (both phsically and verbally) are Muslims.
