  • Hi, this is the error i get when i try to open it up. system error &h8007007E (-2147024770). the specified module could not be found

  • @Vishoenu If you could help that would be nice.

  • @Frezsparce

Wait, what if you used paint (and follow screen size), and try to format it in .dmp? Or something to convert to that?

  • @Chowdit1 If you know a way to do that, go right ahead, but I don't o_O

  • @Frezsparce

    I don't know how to.

  • @Frezsparce do you know how can i ADD new sprites into the game

  • many thanks friend ... deserve all my respect, because I've helped a lot. Bookmark and little hand up: D

  • send it to me

  • Error Message:

[Comp. "COMDLG32.OCX" or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid.]

    :(

  • @Chowdit1 Download the comdlg32.ocx from the internet and put it in the same folder as the program.

  • @Frezsparce

    .OCX Error

WHAT THE HECK CAN I DO?!

  • this can change pokemon red/blue sprites pokemon???

  • how about the size of back sprite???

  • v your wrong, skeptical, and gay v

  • Hey it's what BlameTruth did!

  • OH MY GOD YOU ARE MY HERO, THANK YOU SO MUCH.

i've tried a million different ways to try and get AGIXP to work and FINALLY it does! Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you a million times THANK YOUUUUU. <3333

  • I loaded the Dump at 9000 (trying to change Bulbasaur's sprite) but it didn't work :/

  • I cant save it.! it only says THIS FILE IS SET TO READ ONLY wat do i do?!?!

  • @supabobo123 Go to the file in a file window thingy, right-click on it, go to Properties, and find the Read Only check box and uncheck it.

  • Message it to me? D8

  • will this replace my pokemon red sprites 4ever?

  • @suciotraporojo No, but it will for Gold/Silver

  • @Frezsparce can i have the rom with stitch in it i always wanted to have him in a pokemon game!

  • @iMushyRoms Well, the thing about "replacing" R/B/Y sprites this way is that it's only temporary. Think of it like putting on a mask, as opposed to actually transforming. I might still have the Stitch sprite itself on my older laptop, but the battery and power cord on it are very, very dead. I'm looking for a compatible laptop to put the hard drive in, but due to its age, it could take a while before I find one suitable.

  • My sprite I imported looks all cut up and rearranged.

  • @UncleStanky Its size has to match the size of the sprite you're replacing. I recommend Ho-Oh's here because it's 56x56, the largest possible size (the other sizes used are 40x40 and 48x48). So either your sprite is too big/small or you're patching it to a Pokemon whose size won't work :B

  • @Frezsparce Thanks, i'll try it.

  • @Frezsparce YES! I took your advice and it worked. Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • When i use it it gives me the system error &H8007007E (-2147024770)... Do you know how to fix this?

  • @pikachu000000000 Probably not... What are you running? Windows XP/Vista/7? Shouldn't be any problems with those three. If it's older, like 98 or something, that might be why. Or, you could be on a Mac. I have approximately zero knowledge of Macs so I can't help there >_<

And if it's Linux, then... I guess tell me your distro?

  • I can't save the data! What i can do?

  • @AurinHiho What exactly do you mean? Like, the sprite doesn't stay? It's not supposed to o.o; You're basically just tricking the game's short-term memory (RAM). Apparently you can put permanent sprites in there, but I'm not good enough with hex editing to know how to do that.

  • it tells me that I am missing program MSCOMCT2.OCX and I put it in the system32 folder and it still says that

  • @dthoma812 Try putting it in the same folder as AGIXP

  • @Frezsparce eh, didn,t work

  • Or does it even work on Windows 7???

  • AGIXP doesent work for me, i always get a error if i wanna open it ;( is there a other programm to do that? :/

  • Yes i have a question

    what about back sprites?

  • @Soundfonter I suppose it'd work the same way, but with a different address instead of 9000. What that address would be though, I have no idea o.0 I'm not so good with spriting in the giant-pixel style of R/B/Y backsprites so I've never been interested enough to look for it. It's probably near the same line, though.

  • 1,337 views im the 1337 viewer =3

  • 3:20 OMG PIDGEY MUST HAVE FALLEN INTO A VAT OF TOXIC WASTE!!!

  • ok when i load my sprite and hit next i dont get that screen at 1:27 and it skips to the screen at 1:39

and then when i try to load my rom it gives me a shityass error

  • @Pokechao Ok... What ROM are you trying to put the sprite in? Gold/Silver, should be. AGIXP doesn't work for anything else.

And what exactly does the error message say?

  • I hope it will work.

  • Say I want to change all of the sprites in a Blue Version Hack permanently. Would this do the trick? Or does this only work for the one Pokemon at that exact moment?

  • @KaeElBee For that, you'd need a hex editor. I have absolutely no clue where the offsets are to change sprites permanently - this just changes them for as long as their sprite stays on the screen. Even going to your party and back out will switch it back - kind of the same thing that happens with the Ghosts before you get the Silph Scope d:

  • How do you save the picture in R/B/Y? everytime I can get it to be replaced in the battle. However, I can't get it to reappear with the pic...

  • @EsperanzaZheria It's just memory viewer hacking - very temporary, and I think only saves to the RAM (meaning it goes poof afterwards.) There are ways to change a sprite in the game permanently, but the easiest way I know of is hex editing. Not easy at all : / This is merely a cool/easy trick you can do for the sake of videos or whatever.

  • every time I use agipx and I try to insert sprites and try to play the game to see how it turned out my game goes white

  • @dthoma812 You're putting them into Gold or Silver, yes?

  • Whenever I open AGIXP, I get an error message that reads:

System Error &H8007007E (.2147024770). The specified module could not be found.

  • @ZeroGravix Never got that before o__0

What operating system are you on?

  • @Frezsparce Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 3

  • @ZeroGravix Nnnnnno clue then o.o; I dunno, I guess just try re-downloading it :s

  • Comment removed

  • @Frezsparce ...Never mind, I found the solution for the error, You have to have

activex control pad 1.0 downloaded and installed, and these files found at :

    skeetendo(dot)110mb(dot)com/libraryfiles.zip

installed (replace (dot) with a period)

  • Sorry to bother you, but I have a question.

After doing the 9000/310 thing, the custom sprite appears as normal on Gold version. but the only way i can get it to replace the pokemon's picture in Red version is if I insert the dump AFTER the pokemon has appeared. Does anyone know how to get the custom picture to appear without me having to insert it in battle? Thanks

Oh and another thing, how do you change the pokemon's name on R/B/Y? I could do it for Gold version but not R/B/Y.

  • @tamponcat You have to do it on the black screen right before the Pokemon appears on the screen, but the timing is a bit tricky.

As for the name, that can be done with gameshark codes.

  • @Frezsparce Oh, I thought it'd be something like that. Thanks!~

  • this is so helpful! thanks for the upload. also, love your hack videos, and you do the sprites yourself too? that's talent.

  • How i do this in Pokemon Gold, Siler and Crystal?

  • @Improvavelification Um... once you hack the sprite in from AGIXP, it's in G/S. You'd just have to leave the Light/Dark Exchange box unchecked.

  • I just get this glitchy missingno

  • @Nealgamez Thennn either the sprite you used wasn't exactly 56x56, or you replaced the wrong Pokemon.

  • This is cool and all, but what if I catch it? What will show up if I send it out to battle?

  • @Bobistheone1 .....ahhhhh well, the thing about changing stuff in the Memory Viewer is that it's all very temporary... So once you catch it (or really, once it's off the screen by any means, including looking at your team mid-battle), it reverts to what it originally was. It's graphical trickery, nothing more.

  • @Frezsparce Yeah, I thought of that right after I posted my comment but I was too lazy to delete/fix it lol

  • Hey Frez, what song is that?

  • Gosh, Doyle, learn to read a description o.o;

  • @fritzz363 It's Tobinus' remix of the Reshiram/ Zekrom battle from Pokemon Black & White.

  • That song is awesome :P
