"why is apple being so stupid about this"god... why do you people even try? those applications on your iPod touch, they are very useful, and, completely uncontrolled. apple is making an SDK with a special authentication system so that viruses do not infect your little mobile device. just because the iTouch/iPhone is small does not mean it is not a computer. apple would not be apple if they opened up this platform with no security measures. if they did, they would be Microsoft =P.

I have very little knowledge on computers, i have succeed to jailbreak the ipod touch, but to add the mail.app google maps etc.. it is too complicated, i don t know what s a cyberduck or SSH, SFTP and from where to download the apps,i am using a macbook intel. do you have any videos that show the steps on mac. thanks again
