  • Fabulous harmonies, if I could convert them to MP3 I'd put all their music in my player.

  • I just love the harmony of this group. They have their own unique sound, and it's fantastic doo wop.

  • another great version of a fabulous doo wop song. Is the the same group that backed Cathy Jean?

  • @cokefirst No. It is The Roomates (UK) which is an actually group.

  • I have to say it, this is what real Rock n Roll HARMONY was like. I feel sorry for the teens growing up in this era who missed all of this. It was real music and guys who actually could sing. I love this tight harmony and this group.

  • how come the roomates put out so many songs but no hits?

  • @theaznlvr it´s hard to believe!

    ALMOST as good as Tony.

Guess the test of time would be who is

  • Again, just a SUPER group, I can't say it enough, WOW!!!!!!!

  • These guys are quality and british check out their cds their keeping it alive

  • Great!!

I recently saw "Legends of Doo Wop" in concert, and Tony Passalaqua, the original lead of the Fascinators, did this song, and also "Chapel Bells" (have the Roomates done that one?) Great song!! :-)

  • Well, this is your opinion nyimtman. You see whole too seriously. Who is amateur, who is no amateur? I think, Tony is proud of the Roomates which play exceptionally good music for many years.

  • Comment removed

  • Nooooooo, nyimtman!! There is nothting amateur about the Roomates! They are wonderful singers and do a GREAT job on American Doo Wop. I am sure Tony would appreciate that they are keeping his music alive. He is getting up in years and won't be doing this forever, even though he still sounds great.

  • Tony is a good friend of mine. I was with him last Saturday. He would be proud of this version. Hes about the music and would be honored

  • I saw Tony in the Richard Nader Show last Sunday night in Ft. Lauderdale. I guess you saw the show in Clearwater the night before? He did Chapel Bells. I saw him last October and he did Oh, Rosemarie and Chapel Bells in a show that was just Legends for the whole show. He still has a wonderful voice.

I also think it is great that the Roomates are keeping Doo Wop alive. I love their covers, epecially This is My Love, acapella, and Band of Gold, and Silhouettes, and, and......etc :-)

  • AGREE....as good a Jimmy & Tony are...

this groupe ia THE BOMB.....they are keeping my music alive....from an old

    doo wopper...classof "55"

  • Did Tony get to hear this great version? I LOVE the Legends, and they stole my heart in Doo Wop at 50. I hope he'd be pleased to hear the Roomates. I'm an avid doo-wopper from Philly...the Roomates are boss, yes? Keepin' the sound alive and very well!

  • Im sure

    These guys are great

  • You're a real doofus nyimtman. These guys are really, really good. They ain't the Fascinators but who is? BTW I'm from NYC too...ENY brooklyn and I'm just fine with their covers of the Passions, Mystics,

Fascinators et all. My old lady and I are going to Europe in September and I hope and pray that they're performing while we're there cause we'll go to every show.

What're you? Vito Balsamo or something.

Stop being a jerk and enjoy the music.

  • Not better than the Fascinators.

  • As usual The Roomates version is at least on par with The Legends version & I believe far superior to The Fascinators original take

  • is this a cover of The Facinators... ??
