I was actually thinking of buying a lovely turkey for Christmas, specifically Butterball turkey... because they have the fancy covering and the meat looks healthy... But after watching this video, fucking no chance. I certainly hope that this only occurred in 2006 and not anymore though!
I just projected this onto the wall to 300 people eating at an church buffet. Almost Everybody stopped eating. Some started vomiting. I was kicked out.
omg! my dad workz for goldsboro millings which are turkey farms! they collect eggs and take care of the turkeys! my brother and mother also work there! my brother tells me that there is a lot of animal abuse there! now they passed something thng were they cnt hurt the turkeys as they use to! Also Butterball is..i thnk a partner co. with goldsboro millings! After some time the farms are empty out they (the turkeys) are sent to Butterbull!! pero omg i that is sick and wrong!!

I'm sick of PETA propaganda videos!These animal rights people are insane! Everytime I see or hear anything about insane PETA it makes me want to go hunting!
I don't approve of brutality, however there's no such thing as killing humanely. One could argue that the more intense the death, the more aliveness and juices flowing which should mean some good eating, gobble gobble.
Just telling the truth, vegetarians kill nature just to entertain their desire to eat, same as the meat eaters. How the thing dies doesn't change the taste nor does it change anything. All death is painful, think the caveman gave a shit when they butchered their next meal ?

Food is not a commodity. Otherwise you would've paid 10 cents for that fancy coffee you bought the other day. Or four bucks for the shoes you're wearing. Sane people WILL pay more for a turkey that hasn't been tortured on the way to their table.
As soon as I found out the horrible ways in which turkeys and chickens are treated, I decided to stop contributing to their suffering by no longer eating their meat. These workers are obviously violent, sick individuals to start with to be able to do this kind of work for a living. Thank you for showing us the truth!
Ego has absolutely nothing to do with it. I choose not to support the industry that contributes to an enormous amount of suffering. Everyone has a choice and that's their right.
I was under the impression that their necks are broken before they're slaughtered... This is just sick...

i'm more of a chicken eater than turkey but that'll make me stop eating both.
Plus even though i eat meat i do believe in free range farming, at least the animals have some freedom before they die.
