I told myself I wasn't going to cry... When that tail wagged though I lost it. It didn't help much that our little rescue, who had gotten pulled from the pound being very neglected and very abused, came up to me while I was crying, licked my face a couple of times, then laid down and rolled over for a belly rub. :D These angels are so incredible.

Stanley is happy in his forever home. I just saw lovely pictures of him on facebook with his family. You would not believe he is the same dog. Bless you, Stanley. All this was just a bad dream.

Today he looks like a different dog. Almost two weeks after he was saved, Stanley is feeling and looking much healthier. He is living in Port Alberni with his new foster owners Emily Priestly and Adam Percy, along with their five-year-old son and three other dogs.
