These are so inspiring! Amazing advice on hair! Amazing advice on everything... SO MUCH DETAIL. <3
Do you start with thumbnails? If so, in future videos, could we see some? And how you come to decide on a finalised composition? Oh and I'm from England by the way! :D LOVE THE HISTORY, have I told you lately that I love you?! Hah, I'll stop now ;)
Glad you like the videos and the tips- I'm never sure if people care to listen.
I actually don't start with thumbnails, I generally dive in and then try to brawl with the different lines and shapes until something comes together. This can cause problems, though, since I'll get frustrated when things just won't work (at that point I start again from scratch).
When it comes to composition, I try to visualize what the end product will be, then wrangle it in with the rule of thirds. This changes a lot while I work, as you probably know, since I tend to flip the composition around a bit and use the distort tool.
I do love England, despite never having been there :(. I think I watch a bit more British TV than American at this point (Peepshow, That Mitchell and Webb Look, Little Britain, Mr. Bean, Spaced, Hyperdrive, Monty Python, Keeping Up Appearances, Are You Being Served?, Pulling, The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret, Michael Palin's travel programs, etc etc.
@klausmasterflex Ah-ha! I prefer American television! Although, Peep Show is bloody brilliant, and Spaced! - You should check out 'The Inbetweeners' and 'MisFits' ;) Let me know what you think!
As for American tv - I LOVE CSI NY, Glee, Curb your enthusiasm, House, Greys Anatomy, The (AMERICAN) Office! :D and the list goes on... I've probably forgotten a lot there! :P
