Thank you Freddy i Love You you no deadh because You life in your songs .

    Thank You

  • Freddie recorded this before he was ever well known with Queen..so i suppose he had to find his style.Dusty springfields version is emotional and beautiful.

  • and so is The Byrd's version!

But this one is almost the best I think. So dramatic. Just like Freddie was.

  • he always be nr 1

  • I had no idea he did this song....and yet it makes perfect sense. A great tribute to a great song, from a great performer. I'll stop with the platitudes now :)

  • uhh this song always puts tears in my eyes, it just signifies Freddie even though he never wrote it, Freddie I love you and miss you everyday of my life... hope your rockin up there!

  • is this also before queen

  • what a song

  • yes, listen to Dusty Springfield's version from 1965

  • They used the first line of lyrics from this song as the last line of lyrics in "Mother Love".. Such amazing songs..

  • best singer of ever. no one can be like freddie...

  • I think he was a really good singer and also a really good example for gay people.

    5* RIP Freddie

  • Freddie as the best in singer the world!

  • This song always makes me cry. When I hear it, I can see all the memories...

the voice, the charisma, the hero, the lover, the friend, the simple man with such a great talent, the life, the love, the music...

Freddie, I will love you forever, wherever you are... You are alive till people all around the word remember about you... You live in our hearts... You live in the music...

  • correct me if i am wrong.. but he was said to say he never thought he had a true friend his hole life...impossible..must have been a bad day

  • "And I can play hide and seek with my fears

And live my days instead of counting my years"

this is so pure..I miss this poetry

  • rite on man, u said it!! this is soooo deep. 20 sumthin yrs later, still nuthing like it.

  • I really love that line

  • @EdMarcus

Poetry maybe....but Freddie didn't write this song...Carole King did.

  • @QueenReigns1

yes,yes..I know that..I didn't say it was written by him..When I was little a had this tape with some songs from The Byrds..and thisone was my favorite, then later I hear that version of Freddie..and It's amazing..and pure poetry

  • what lp was this from

  • This is slowed down slightly. The original song is in a higher key and faster.

  • i think its the opposite, because when its played at the end of mother love, its in this key, and this key seems to sound more like him. besides, this is from freddies box set.

  • I'm gonna bow to your superior knowledge on this one. The version I have is slightly higher, but it's from a vinyl recording and could be distorted.

  • lol its just a guess. but it sounds the same as it did on mother love. but yeah, only a guess.

  • Not for nothing seems his voice
