  • So. Damn. Hot.

  • I don't really like the album version, but I love this!

  • I can't even tell how much I admire this artist

  • I like this version. Can tell she's enjoying changing it up.

  • Why does she touch the microphone with her lips (and lipstick)?

  • thank You TORI for whole your sensuous breathing. in love lars.

  • i loved how she looked like in the beekeper era so sexy so amazing xD

  • 這首歌 太迷人了 好像有某種魔力一樣

  • Wow

  • Cinnabar juice.

  • Such a sexy song!

  • Where is the 'love let me breathe' part?

  • @marcusyi it's gone. i also miss the backing vocals

  • I liked her hair long like that. but beekeeper era is when she started to get nasally which i am not a fan of. but i love her none the less and this is a good performance.

  • @nmothin I think the nasally comes from her belting voice weakening. Its incredible again though, note the 2010 performances :)!

  • I saw this when it aired.. I was enthralled.. and still am..

  • tori il n'y a pas de mots pour exprimer ce que je ressens quand je t ecoute

  • her performance is so sensual and incredible :D

  • I love...GEnial !!!!!

  • She puts so much sex in it... brilliant!

  • @allpreciousthings as she's confessed in her book piece by piece and autobiography, music releases her sexuality :) not that she requires her music to be sexual however she expresses herself sexually through her music as a positive release, purely amazing!

  • Tori looks so cute at 4:05.

LOL @ the ex-Toriphile below me. The lavender-scented steam smells bad, actually. Now go play in the icy road *pats head*.

  • @TearInTheirHands Freak.

  • IIIII lay my weapons down with my pistol fully loaded... I love tori. Great perfomance.

  • What a sexy song!

  • I don't think ive seen the Bosey without a lid before!

  • A-MA-ZING!!!

  • ........BRILLIANT.

  • this is #1 on my list of sexiest performances

  • I'm very glad, it is so sexy indeed

  • hammmer frau nicht von dieser welt was für eine göttin

  • This sounds a million times better than the album version.

  • hypnotizing....I love this piano godess..Thanks for also posting the lyrics!

  • Wow this song is outstanding.

I love the way she sings in the intro.

Glad I got the chance to see her last weekend!

  • Tori has been around long before regina... but this performance was long after regina had come into the spotlight... so that's my point really. Maybe she is a fan of regina, who knows. :) They are both incredible musicians.

  • No, Regina was underground most of her so called "spotlight years." Tori's incredible talent allowed for the actual spotlight she got. I am Regina fan, but she has only been in the spotlight since Begin to hope, why do you think a lot of her NEW albums are upbeat, lame paraodies of better, older songs. Your point is frivolous and founded on your delusion of reality. Watch the Boys For Pele EPK video on here, thats all you really need to do.

  • I am sure shelipop that regina and tori are fans of each other, Tori was around a ways before regina but I too am a fan of both. I really did'nt hear regina until like a year ago and then learned she had been around for like 8 or 10 years, lol. but yeah it would be the other way around regina would be like Tori like kea said. I thought Troi looked beautiful here in the dress and yeah the backdrop was awesome. I get amazed by every note that beautifully emits from the lips of Tori.always have.

  • I know! she looks so goddamn beautiful :D

  • 3:47 her smile reminds me of regina spektor so much there..... she's said in interviews she takes on the persona of other people with her songs, and I can't help but wonder if she's a fan. her mannerisms in this vid are very regina spektor-ish. :) i'm a huge fan of both musicians.

  • Also you think this because her smile looks like regina. Um, Tori's just smiling, like a normal, happy person, wtf. It doesn't look at all like a rational person could conclude that tori was channeling Regina.

  • This is just an all around beautiful video. Beautiful song, beautiful backdrop setting, beautiful voice, etc. People say Tori is declining in her talent as the years go on, but I think she's just moving along the way she wants to move along... doing what she wants to do. Any Tori fan would understand Tori is the first to do what she wants when she wants. That's what makes her so great. <3

  • Yes, totally agree, I mean its a journey for her and I know that some of us EWF dislike Beekeeper but frankly the album is astonishing. Lately there has been a separation between those who like the 'classic Tori' and those who appreciate all of her work. I think either way she's still amazing. On a different note I'd like to say that she looks beautiful with her hair like in this video, nowadays she's much into the pin straight hair, well its her call, we still love her.

  • I agree - her hair is so beautiful when she's showing her natural curl vs going stick straight.... gives her much more personality. :)

  • The Beekeeper was my initiation to the realm of creativity and fruition. As I got older its secret wisdom seeped into me. A spectacular, if elusive, gem.

  • That's really powerful. I see that your screen name is BoysForPele. That record to me is my holy grail. Seriously I can't live without it. To me, its the record that dismantled my being and rearranged it into who I am today. Its an epic work by Tori that I will forever cherish :)

  • The first time ever that I listened to Tori Amos was with BFP, and therefore the first song I ever listened to was Beauty Queen/Horses and remains one of my favourites of all.

  • that yeayeayeayea part is so great

  • you suck..

  • I love The Beekeeper deeply, no matter what critics wrote about it. There are many very beautiful, melodic, harmonious and truly feminine songs in this album. My most favorite ones are Jamaica Inn, Sleeps with Butterflies, Ribbons Undone, Original Sinsuality, and Sweet the Sting (it is one of the most sensual and gorgeous songs written by Tori).

  • I still love her and think Scarlet and ADP (even The Beekeeper) are very good albums, but I just think it's such a pitty she had that facelift. She was so gorgeous when Scarlet and Tales came out!! Don't know why the hell she did it.

  • This is wonderful!

  • This is so much more naturally "Tori" than the album version. Love it =)

  • She is fantastic!!!!

  • Her voice is so sultry! Not sure I understand the line about "cinnabar juice" though...Cinnabar is a reddish crystal, isen't it?

  • and many people says that´s not the same songs how like the songs of her first records... i love it too... i love all her records. from the 1st to the 10th...

  • esactly....alot of tori fans seem to like the early stuff up until choirgirl hotel and say the stuff after that isnt on par with the rest of the stuff..but i appreciate all of her albums equally :)

  • That's 'cause they like when Tori is in pain!

    So sad!

I love all of her works.

  • yeh i think peple think she hasnt got anything to sing about anymore, like her life is too happy (with her daughter) so she hasnt got the pain to inspire her anymore

  • Some sexist asshole who reviewed beekeeper insisted someone should have the "DECENCY to abduct and KIL her daughter." It was appalling, I still think she writes sngs about pain, but definitely in a more mature, more social criticizing way. i love all her work, not since I found her but gradually I can access songs. she is brilliant her treasure always unfold themselves for me

  • I think one of the reasons people hated the Beekeeper was that it was an unlikely pairing of being almost sonically radio friendly and lyrically dense and alienating with the abstract religious imagery. But I think it's a wonderful album. People acted as if she took a wrong turn, or was lost (like when she was doing some SERIOUS searching via Pele), but I disagree. I love the record.

  • she's having a hard time getting old at this point.

  • Look at her, I don't think she ages

  • surgery...not judging, but...surgery.

  • you can tell that it doesnt look natural, love tori but its not natural ageing....

  • Mm it could be, but I think it's just a lot of makeup, plus they could have edited out any ageing she could have had.

  • A LOT of Tori fans hated the Beekeeper - and to be honest so did I. But I must say, I loved Sweet the Sting, and Parasol was quite good. The rest was not of her usual standard - but with that said, Barons of Suburbia is one of the best songs of her entire career, both technically and because of the fantastic, powerful energy it has. I'm so glad to see she's back to her best - her performance at Dranouter in '08 blew me away. Precious Things and Barons of Suburbia were breathtaking. Watch them!

  • no, I liked it.

It was'nt her best but it was cute, there were some moments.

  • I think the Beekeeper was certainly different, but I don't think I could ever say I hate anything she has ever written. Even though it wasn't "usual Tori" it was still far better than the other stuff out at the time. She just writes in the direction she truely feels she needs to

  • Wow.

  • can't help but watch it every day, it's so mesmerising the way she sweets the sting here!!!

  • Funny, I really don't like the album cut of this, but stripped down like this...it's delightfully raw. Me like.

  • omg

  • Delicious

  • Utterly amazing. I have seen her live 7 times and even met her once. I just adore her. This performance is a GREAT example of her limitless talent.

  • Sweet the sting!!you betcha!Tori is a voice and HOT!

  • This woman is beyond amazing! I can't think of anybody else on earth who would've concocted such pretty metaphores involving scorpion stings, pistols and mercury sulfide! Goddess!

  • absolutely fantastic!

  • beautiful

  • Yes!!!

    fantastic version.

  • Loooove it !

  • Ack, fantastic version.

  • it is definitely sweet... ;)

  • sweet, sweet, sweet..

    the sting.

  • hot

  • love it!
