However, the temperature inside the bowl and the tobacco product itself only heats up, does not burn, to a temp of 350 - 450 degrees Fahrenheit. This is why the coals turn to ash like a cigarette does, but the shisha itself only becomes burned/overcooked like that of bread being left in an oven for a long amount of time.

i run a shisha lounge in the u.k and the government are cracking down on all suppliers and importers. they tax to a point where selling or buying hookah becomes almost impossible. in the u.k buying a 1kg duty paid tub of alfakher is £60!!!!! thats what like $140!!!! its a joke! al fakher UAE are currently using their lawyers to come to an agreement!

@birdmankustomz666 I dont know what kind of smoke detector you have, but I have hot boxed houses and apartments with smoke detectors and they never went off, mind you they did work correctly, we tested them to see if they worked so when we smoked and it went off we could say it was the hookah, but numerous times they never did, even when we blew smoke directly at them. Were you smoking the traditional way without foil, because then it would be smoke and set off the alarm.
@TrueHookahKing its a commercial fire alarm system, and it works the exact same as any other. I was smoking social smoke with coco's (my usual setup). Look up how a smoke detector works, you can set one off by putting it next to a heavily steaming kettle.

So i recently started smoking shisha and did some research. I found that 99% of info saying hookah smoking is bad is all BS. I agree it's not good for you since carbon monoxide is inhaled. I have found ONE independant test showing that a 45 min session is = or less than 1 cigarette for nicotine (with actual tests done showing results). Hey man that was awesome. But you forgot the fact that it cools the smoke down by using ice/water or a combination of both. This is even better that smoking because it doesn't irritate the throat and "cleanses" the smoke. :D
What makes it not safe in my opinion is smoking from coal and out of aluminum foil. But if your a smoker like me you understand the risks. You can not rule out that it is not unsafe at all.

I'm a smoker, on about 15 cigarettes per day and I hate to say it but I do enjoy smoking. I have a lot of issues with the government telling us what's bad for us and what isn't but I pay for my healthcare, I pay more tax per year on cigarettes than the average tax payer over here and then some. The government crack down on smokers yet they are fine to let people drink themselves to death or eat themselves to death on fast food. It's not about the people, it's about the industry.
On hookah cans it says Tar 0.0%, because it's actually 0.05%. They don't want to display that there actually is tar in it. Not like it really matters that 0.05% tar is in there though, just clarifying.
I had an awsome buzz going the one day with my one freind ok we had a three hour sesh with al fahker doulbe apple(nasty liqurice but it was all we had cause that was the only flavor the gas station by me had at the time but we flavored the water in the base alot and it masked the liqurice) we had a three hour sesh and our dumbasses forgot to open a window so by the end i had such a heavy buz i coud not move for 20 minutes just cause i was so chill it felt like we were high
the truth would have a parade on a gas station by me they put hookahs shisha and coals on the same shelf as candy lol but u know all the children know its not candy or candy related cause the may be dumbasses but there not brain dead
None of this information particularly surprises me, however I am curious as to where these numbers came from. Such as, how do we know what the coals are burning at, or what temperature the shisha is being baked at (yes, these are different numbers).
They could be talking about Pipe Tobacco or Cigarette Tobacco like Gambler or Top. I'm trying to quit but I smoke Mint Gambler Tobacco, I've only seen Mint, Regular, and Menthol but I'm pretty sure they could be at least including that cause I know they didn't banned flavored rolling tobacco.
Oh and by the way, it's not even cigarettes that actually GIVE you cancer, it's the fact that it drops your blood pressure so it makes your body more susceptible to cancer.

The scientific studies are rigged. I still remember an article that said "by the end of this article, you will see why hookah is just as bad as cigarettes." They concluded that it was not, and really had no case.. then they made some statistics up..then they printed it...assholes.

5:56 Maybe because not enough people smoked it long enough since it's just started getting popular.It's not like BILLIONS of americans have been hookah smokn in the past. Fastforward to 40 yrs from now maybe we'll start to see some sick people from hookah. I hope not. :( I really hope it's not harmful. I love hookah :(

Hey man that was awesome. But you forgot the fact that it cools the smoke down by using ice/water or a combination of both. This is even better that smoking because it doesn't irritate the throat and "cleanses" the smoke. :D

What makes it not safe in my opinion is smoking from coal and out of aluminum foil. But if your a smoker like me you understand the risks. You can not rule out that it is not unsafe at all.

@xXxSHOOPIExXx alright i've heard the myth about smoking with foil, i'll eliminate this myth for you right here and now. the maximum heat from the coals are 350-450 correct? well foil burns at 1220....unless you burn the foil and inhale whatever is produced whether it be vapor or smoke then you're fine, you have nothing to worry about because this simply cannot be achieved. the only danger i see with hookah is the carbon monoxide from the coals and maybe whatever quick lights have in them ifany

they have electronic coals that you can use, also a metal tin to use instead of foil. these may reduce those risks

I'm a smoker, on about 15 cigarettes per day and I hate to say it but I do enjoy smoking. I have a lot of issues with the government telling us what's bad for us and what isn't but I pay for my healthcare, I pay more tax per year on cigarettes than the average tax payer over here and then some. The government crack down on smokers yet they are fine to let people drink themselves to death or eat themselves to death on fast food. It's not about the people, it's about the industry.

On hookah cans it says Tar 0.0%, because it's actually 0.05%. They don't want to display that there actually is tar in it. Not like it really matters that 0.05% tar is in there though, just clarifying.

Wrong. It says 0.0% tar because there is no tar in tobacco before you burn it. Hence, there's no tar because it's not burnt yet.

I had an awsome buzz going the one day with my one freind ok we had a three hour sesh with al fahker doulbe apple(nasty liqurice but it was all we had cause that was the only flavor the gas station by me had at the time but we flavored the water in the base alot and it masked the liqurice) we had a three hour sesh and our dumbasses forgot to open a window so by the end i had such a heavy buz i coud not move for 20 minutes just cause i was so chill it felt like we were high

None of this information particularly surprises me, however I am curious as to where these numbers came from. Such as, how do we know what the coals are burning at, or what temperature the shisha is being baked at (yes, these are different numbers).

They could be talking about Pipe Tobacco or Cigarette Tobacco like Gambler or Top. I'm trying to quit but I smoke Mint Gambler Tobacco, I've only seen Mint, Regular, and Menthol but I'm pretty sure they could be at least including that cause I know they didn't banned flavored rolling tobacco.

Last day I went to doctor taking a blood test, whether I have nicotine or not in my blood. (By the way, Im smokin hookah for 5 years now) And guess what??
No nicotine was detected in my blood!!!!Not at all! Hookah is not bad, understand it people and "f" those cigarette companies!!! Thumbs up for THK!!!!!

The scientific studies are rigged. I still remember an article that said "by the end of this article, you will see why hookah is just as bad as cigarettes." They concluded that it was not, and really had no case.. then they made some statistics up..then they printed it...assholes.

Ppl give me crap all the time too about hookah they always say it's worse then cigs! I tell them all the time that they don't know what there saying. I agree I get pissed too when ppl talk down about a hookah. Sisha is some of the cleanest tobacco you can find! I think this video needs to get post all over the place so ppl can get there fact stright.
