@ckyguy68 I'm looking to buy either a new civic si or tsx but hate that "rev hang" feeling when I test drove them. I'm used to immediate drop in rpms when driving my mr2 and wrx. Is there any mod that can fix that?
lol. Put some gas in the thing.....cheapskate. Nice run. In order to get anything accomplished from a dig in a si you need to make sure your in peak power at launch. I just couldnt be that harsh to my car.
Haha, no excuse for the gas. but this car ran a 13.7 @ 99mph when the launch was right. I let my tuner drive the car. The best i could manage was a 14.1 so he dropped the tire pressure and i was shocked with how well it ran.

@Iradoncic go to street races and talk shit on them 70% of street racers drive hondas,whats special about them?,...find another car that is very affordable,reliable,not expensive to build up,economical,durable,can take abuse,can beat lambos with out spending over 20k,smokes domestics with very little tuning experiance needed,and also looks great,ohh yea and did i mention it can do all this with just 4 cylinders? half of what most american cars have and more than half than exotics, for low price

Its definately a fun car. I do have times where i dislike it, the transmission had to be rebuilt and it rides a little stiff, but thats why it handles so good. All in all, its a great car that just has a few bugs that need to be worked out.
It was actually 2nd i had a major problem with. 3rd is fine if you power shift but 2nd 3rd and 4th are all hard to slowly shift into after 6000rpm. I was thinking the master cylinder may be part of the problem, maybe the clutch is dragging at high rom shifts...
I swear my 2009 Accord Coupe LX-S does the same 0 to 60 with 200 hp. :D

My FG2 actually runs quicker when it's almost outta gas. I can tell a difference. Better to do a run with a empty tank than a full tank, less weight.
