Thank you demoncrats and retardicans. Your destruction of America is almost complete. Crazy thing is Americans keep voting you guys in there so you can..."hit us again ike and this time put some stank on it".
Desperate? How is he getting desperate when he has a pretty wide lead against McCain in the polls. On top of that, Obama and Biden whipped McCain and Palin's asses at the debates. Maaaaaaaaaybe McCain won one debate so I'll give him that much. If anybody is getting desperate it's McCain. Him choosing Sarah Palin was nothing more than a publicity stunt. McCain's ship is sinking and the Republican party wants nothing to do with McCain right now. I'm not even a huge Obama supporter.
Obama wants to lower your taxes AND pay for your healthcare. If you make less than $250,000 a year, voting for McCain/Palin is a vote against your own interests and well-being. Think about this when you enter the voting booth.
Why wouldn't any patriotic American vote for Obama/Biden? America has had enough of the tyranny that pervades the regressive GOP, these two will take us forward not backward into more dark halls full of smoke and mirrors. Obama/Biden 08!!
If being a liberal means caring for education, the health of Americans and keeping jobs in America I have "Liberal" all over me. And I thought I was a Republican?
The point about the reformer maverick issue is that Obama was neither when he was a community organizer or a state senator in Chicago. He was part of a big city corrupt political machine. This machine, lead - in part - by Tony Rezko, cheated the constituents in Obama's own district of badly needed government resources for housing. Rezko's wife helped Obama (and Michelle) buy their new mansion in Chicago. This house is across the street from the Rezkos. Obama is a typical politician.
Did you happen to see the latest polls from the entire free world? They want Obama too. You don't want to open the argument up to involve them too. They'd have plenty to say about 4 more years of Bushlike leadership.
thank-you sack---obama the liar of all liars is finished---hes dropping fast in the polls and the dems love them polls--they are now sayin- dont believe the polls-theyre bogus-bunch of hypocrites
This ad is fantastic. This is exactly how the Obama campaign needed to go after McSame and the pitbull. Let's see more ads like this in the future, PLEASE!
I'm sorry but if you think John McCain represents change you are a retard. Thank you for pointing that out Barack. And Sarah Palin really isn't that hot. She's like forty something.

Obama voted with Bush 40% of the time. You see all Senators vote Yes on 50% of the items before them such as National Park issues, Medal of Honor recipients, lower court Federal Judge confirmations, congradulating the Super Bowl winner, etc. The 90% number is thin and bogus. You read it here...McCAin will win by such a huge margain the Rs will also pick up the House and Senate. Sorry my young friends....that is the heart of America. Get use to it.
SACKTECH, the heart of america has been betrayed by the last 8 years of lies. sadly, the lies are no longer recognized by the desensitized republican party who gave us bush twice. i was not aware that core american values included being deceived into war and murdering a bunch of people, and thinking this was a good thing. now mccain will use the exact same lies and tricks to do the exact same thing. the fanatic right will sing "what a friend we have in Jesus" as millions more are killed in iran.

Wow sackteck .. you just made the argument against yourself.. Theres a massive difference between 40 percent and 90 percent. Thanks i can save my character count on this post.
We are used to it. With the exception of the last two years, the R's have been running the show on the both executive and legislative sides of the house.
It's unfortunate that the heart of America is perfectly happy to take it up the arse and sign up for round two because they'll forget everything at the sight of a middle aged beauty queen with an attitude problem.
I gotta point out that less then half of the time and 90% percent of time are much different and sacktech have you noticed that the dems have come out on top in over half of the general elections since the start of the 90's
yha!yha!and we will all eat moose stew, and shot wolves from plains. let me tell you something. alls obama has to do is get an increase young voters by 5% and that will swing most states blue. and the so called toss up states?obama only needs one to turn blue. So go lessen to rush and hanity and know that on nov.5 you will wake up to an honest government!!!!!!!!!!
I'm an old guy and I think Obama will win. I'm not 100% happy with him, but I don't think McSame is what people as a whole are going to vote for.
How's this for an October Surprise? Article 2 of the Constitution says the President must be a natural born citizen. Amendment 14 says a citizen as someone born IN THE USA. McCain was born in Panama. The Senate has said he is eligible, but so what? The Consitution is SCOTUS' job, not the Senate's. What if Obama pulled a "Bush" and went to SCOTUS?
John McCain, himself said that he vote w/ the President of 90% of the time. Why would he say that. Two reasons, 1) it's true and 95% of time in the previous yr. So this year he has stop voting all together. No one has missed more votes than him in the last to years. 2) He was pandering to Republicans. See McCain is a Republican when he wants your vote the GOP nomination and a "maverick" when he is running for the general election. Bottom Line he is a fraud who likes war. Don't fall for the trick
I think someone should make the case that being a maverick is not a good thing!
Bush is a bad maverick..we elected him to serve the american people and defend the constitution..and what did he do..the opposite he went his maverick ways..declared war on Iraq and put himself and his staff above the law..if that isn't a maverick..I don't know what is!
Let McCain call himself and his trash-talking hockey mom a maverick..but it still puts them in line with our worst maverick..Bush!
You knowthe problems we have in the United States are not Democrat problems or Republican problems...they are American problems and we better start taking then seriously. There is no doctrine or law that says America "must" survive. Don't think for a minute that we can't go the way of the Romans. Their society existed for 5000 years and then was gone. Our little 200 year old country has a lot to learn from history.
The Roman government lasted for around 1160 years, founded by Romulus in 753 BC and eventually collapsing in 410 AD when the Goths sacked Rome, I agree with you though
632292934,,,,i agree with you. The way this country is headed I will not be surprise if a another civil war breaks out someday. I fear the far right more then the left. There agenda is to destroy our democracy and create a theocracy.
that they change the current status of America because we need a change in our government but i think from personal opinion that Obama is the right ticket
McCain is a maverick pork spender and supporter of special interests groups swimming like piranha fish right now! One of McCain supporters says he dances better then Obama that is all I need to know.
Same Bush policies 90% of the time. Same Bush election speech writers . Same election tactics Bush used. Same " throwing faith around like they are God - Bush spin " Everything about this McCain election spells Bush.
millions of people out of job's, their foreclosed homes, health plan, money.
avsroc>>>and so what? obama didn't wreck this country with those votes!but mccain votes helped bush wreck the crap out of this country!
how can anybody who voted bush in power 2 times even talk about politics????i mean you are disqualified from trying to tell any of us who is best for our country!!!!!!!
The problem is the Bush administration and its fanatical politics of the far right. Voting with those views 9 out of 10 times is MUCH scarier than the 2 out of 5 times by Obama.
2 out of 5 votes is something called necessity. Something that the republicans in congress don't seem to understand is sometimes you have to compromise to accomplish something. Obama compromises when absolutely necessary. Bush, and therefore McCain, not so much.
as nice as that would be...good luck getting them anything in the electorate. The most successful third party candidate ever, Ross Perot, got 19% of the popular vote and ZERO electoral votes
Problem with that is you create a situation where 25% of the country that votes in a bloc can determine the outcome of an election. At least with a 2 party system, you need a plurality of the vote. But the more parties you have, the more likely that the country can be hijacked by extremists, from either the far left or far right.
McCain has found another liar like himself. She dosent tell you that tax payers pay 4 her home. she dosent tell you that special interest groups love her and contibute to her state. Palin is the worse thing for america; along with rich man McCain. If your rich, then vote 4 them. They only care 4 u if your rich.
McCain and Palin are both established politicians, but they are not what America needs in our crisis. America needs Obama. I believe Obama can be the next JFK.
Well, Obama has to say something so people don't focus on the fact that he has done NOTHING! Sarah Palin was never for the Bridge to nowhere, she said "I feel your pain". The Alaska democratic website even had on it that Sarah Palin rejected the bridge to nowhere as a knock against her, however the Obama camp called them to have it taken down. I;m not saying the McCain camp is a great choice but not acknowleding that Obama brings nothing to the table is just plain sad.
Brings nothing to the table? How about the judgment in knowing that the greatest fiasco in modern America, the war in Iraq was a mistake? He courageously opposed the war before it was unpopular and he was PROVEN right. I'd say that counts for a hell of a lot more than anything McCain and Palin have done combined.
One lady told Adlai Stevenson (the democratic nominee in 52 and 56) "You have the vote of every thinking man in america" Stevenson replied "Ma'am we need a majority to win". I fear the same is going to happen this year
OH MY GOD, you are as stupid as Obama. He has absolutely no experience in anything at all, and wasnt even a good city organizer.Look up ACORN on the web. You liberals are grasping at straws here, and I'm afraid it's too late for the Obama camp.
McCain responded, "No, no. But, look, the president and I agree on most issues. There was a recent study that showed that I voted with the president over 90 percent of the time, higher than a lot of my even Republican colleagues."
"Sarah Palin also has charged the state for travel expenses to take her children on official out-of-town missions. And her husband, Todd, has billed the state for expenses and a daily allowance for trips he makes on official business for his wife."
As a taxpayer I'm delighted to know that my money is well spent.
small town values... aka racism, sexism, lying... I guess if your into that kind of stuff then yeah, go vote Republican in this election, but if your sane, actually want to help other Americans who aren't rich and want to start rebuilding the damage done to the economy caused by Bush then vote for Obama.
Oh and wtf... Now Obama is supposedly the negative one???? did you actually watch the Republican convention???
Great truth spoken here. The Obama/Biden followers need to do their homework. And Obama has changed his tune on more things than anyone combined in this whole campaign. McCain is proven and tested. He is for the people of this country not himself.
this is negative? its the truth republicans are slamming him everyday. if he didnt hit back then everyone would call him another weak democrat. This election is simple all that say i dont really now him can i trust him. you mean can i trust the black guy. but to every one who dont want a black president. if he's the president he works for you just like the people who watch your kids and cut your lawn.Palin feels she doesnt have to talk to media you trust that. haha
"Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has billed taxpayers for 312 nights spent in her own home during her first 19 months in office, charging a "per diem" allowance intended to cover meals and incidental expenses while traveling on state business."
Surely but slowly we're going to find out about her real motives. Of course all the medias are focusing on her right now because we don't know anything about her...yet.
I wish I could vote for Sarah Palin for President! Although P. Diddy did let me know that there are no black people in Alaska so how could I possibly even think of voting for her??????? Way to be Diddy. Why don't you spend some more time running the city instead of on your blog making a fool out of yourself.
Sarah Palin will be an amazing leader. And Puffy you know this!
Hey, Americans! Republicans are liars, but you believed them in 2000 and 2004; you still want wars for oil and millions of dead civillians?? WAKE UP! Now - 2008; you can change the foreign policy of your country! Don't vote liars-republicans! They will do and will say all you want, but then it will became lie! Don't be soooooo stupid! All world laughs at your stupid president) Do you want same 4 years of idiotic policy???
Just wake up! Russia is not "evil" that McCain will say you! FUCK LIE!
a good ad. but I'm afraid those 'mavericks' will win anyway. I see the pattern. the Internet loves Obama and hates McCain. The world loves Obama nad hates McCain. Just like 4 years ago. The rest was history.... Too bad that in the end so many people succumb to such primitive sentiments and easy propaganda based on some pseudo-patriotic motives. McCain being the leader of the world's most powerful country? Grrrrreaaat.....
To the handful of you asking why Obama isn't running positive ads: the way I see it, he's reacting to the extremely aggressive attacks launched on him during the GOP convention. Note that the Democratic convention--the Obama/Biden speeches in particular--had content-filled speeches with actual plans, not just streams of invective. See those speeches (should be up on YouTube somewhere) for Obama's policies, then make your choice.
I think once more people get to know Palin, they will see that she is very far right on the issues including no abortion even if you were raped or incest. And that she is not what Americans need for Change! McCain shows his lack of judgement by this pick!
By his track record (US Senate, Ilinois Senate) Obama has shown that he does nothing. (except vot the farthest left of all 100 Senators) He just feeds people ear candy talk for the gullible McCain has shown that he has done a lot.
McCain and Palin both have a record of pissing off Republicans.
Obama is just a plain 'ole Chicago politician who knows how to feed gullible people ear candy.
The GOP VP candidate has more background than the Dem's PRESIDENTIAL candidate!
After the meeting with Palin, Mccain started to react like a little schoolboy.... His look and the sound of his voice was very funny after the meeting... not only his words, but also, it is obvious, that he is not cool at all - when it comes up to serious issues. Mccain looks very pale in the shade of his sexy vp.
Im going to agree with rongstad. They're all the same. Why don't you tell us more about what you can do... rather then going after one another. I want a leader that acts like a leader in this country... and right now.. I don't want either of this two.. so I could careless.
tbone - they have to use tv ads to go after each other. if one side doesn't, then they lose. don't blame the candidates, blame the uninformed voters who believe anything they hear on tv. i don't care if our leader "acts" like a leader, as long as he does a good job.
At least Governor Palin came to her senses and killed the bridge to nowhere. OBAMA AND BIDEN VOTED TO FUND THE BRIDGE TO NOWHERE TWICE!!! HERE'S THE BEST PART THOUGH: When given the opportunity to use the money earmarked for the bridge to nowhere and instead use it to fund Katrina relief efforts OBAMA AND BIDEN SAID "NO" TO KATRINA "REFUGEES" AND STILL VOTED TO EARMARK THE MONEY FOR THE BRIDGE TO NOWHERE. Obama wasn't too bright to approve this attack ad.
lancetb: Obama and Biden aren't the ones claiming to have killed to the bridge to nowhere. They're not lying; Palin is. And check your facts: it was Congress that killed the bridge to nowhere, and that didn't stop Palin from taking the money and spending it on other projects.
You're either for powerful government of powerful people. Democrats, republicans and communists are all for strong government. Libertarianism is the only party that thinks individuals can run their own lives better then the state can.
About time the DNC started calling out McCain for what he is- a shell of what he was, a total sellout, and a liar. This ticket is concocted just to keep power concentrated among the right wing GOP that gave us Bush.
Obama never stood up to the sheer corruption of Chicago politics. Tony Rezko was probably his closest political friend in Chicago...and that fellow is going to prison. Obama even bought his house with Rezko's help. Obama really is just a typical politician.
The Republicans will win this election. Democrats talk a good game but on Nov 4th, they just don't take voting seriously enough. Repubs will win, again. America gets the government they deserve.
If Americans actually PAID ATTENTION to politics and their records, instead of voting on propaganda and spin; McCain/Palin wouldn't even be in contention. (oh, and in 2007 he voted with Bush 95% of the time, and in 2008 - 100 Percent of the time). And, there are people who would vote for McCain and expect change? The word is CHUMP.
Great ad! I'd like to see it in my area. Keep hammering away at the lies. The media sure as heck isn't going to call McCain on any of his lies. We have to do it.
Thank you demoncrats and retardicans. Your destruction of America is almost complete. Crazy thing is Americans keep voting you guys in there so you can..."hit us again ike and this time put some stank on it".

Whats the difference between Obama and Mccain?
Foreign Policy? Nope they both want to continue the war and police the world.
They both voted for the patriot act and fisa.
will they change our monetary policy and get us out of debt? Nope they will continue to spend billions overseas and on domestic programs.
You call that change? Nope They both are the same.

The most successful third party candidate ever, Ross Perot, got 19% of the popular vote and ZERO electoral votes
tnichols321 3 years ago
Problem with that is you create a situation where 25% of the country that votes in a bloc can determine the outcome of an election. At least with a 2 party system, you need a plurality of the vote. But the more parties you have, the more likely that the country can be hijacked by extremists, from either the far left or far right.

I;m not saying the McCain camp is a great choice but not acknowleding that Obama brings nothing to the table is just plain sad.
keltontrey 3 years ago
its no use. You can't talk logic to these morons.
jrnesbit 3 years ago
Brings nothing to the table? How about the judgment in knowing that the greatest fiasco in modern America, the war in Iraq was a mistake? He courageously opposed the war before it was unpopular and he was PROVEN right. I'd say that counts for a hell of a lot more than anything McCain and Palin have done combined.
cmarcallen 3 years ago 2
Obama brings something we have been sorely lacking in the White House: a brain. One that is educated in foreign policy.
McCain yeah has plenty of "experience" but that does not count much when he seems to refuse to learn from his mistakes.
Obama so dwarfs McCain intellectually. It's about time we had some smarts in charge.
