why when i start a franchise on 2k8 (assosiation mode) i simulate for a while and my players start getting super pissed about their minutes even if they're minutes are full. then their stats go down. i try to trade them and i can't because theres not a fuckin team on that game that doesn't have negative millions of dollars. please tell me other basketball games arent like that. why would the stupid fuckin developers do that?!?!?!?!?!

I've played both (360 versions though). I cant speak for the ps2 and xbox versions but 2K8 owns on the next-gen consoles. Live has improved since last year, but lets face it, it'll take more than a year to fix all the problems they had last year. They would have to start from scratch.

I like both games this year. Live seems a bit easier to jump into, my friends don't like the complicated controls of 2K, but if you're able to spend more time with it, 2K certainly is the better game, but I like having LIve as a 2nd option when I want a break from 2k.

I played NBA 2k8 Demo and NBA Live Demo and I gotta say Live was good until I downloaded 2K8. This Vid doen't do any of the games justice because you need to see actual game play. In the Live Demo they move like robots, plus they shot werid. In 2K8 they move like real people have signature shots and looking at it far away it looks like your watching a real B-Ball game, watch Live up close far away it looks like an arcade game.
