  • Piyong akong mga mata samtang maminaw ining maong kanta pabalik balik ... salamat sa pag butang ini dinhi ... GOD bless you ....

  • last i heard of anita she was bankrupt sleeping on a frends sofa after beeing swindled out of her money .sad

  • @templemanw1 Actually, i just met Anita the other day. Shes doing great, looking wonderful as always, and shes nowhere near bankrupt let me tell you. Shes a very sweet lady and a wonderful person! Her and her husband are doing just fine.

  • Had a big crush on Anita, seeing her sitting in a chair singing this on TOTP in the late summer of ' 67, fabulous voice and song.Am I right it is a Tom Springfield song ?.

  • To Tongapuss, Well-said,I agree with you. michaeljureidine-you are a very sad person,Their is many a person who has passed away-who would swop places with you,And to comment on Anita like you have, is Disrespectfull,Anita brought thousands of people much joy and happyness with her singing,I doubt by the sound of YOU-you have achieved as much?,

  • Wow, how underrated was she. Lulu,Dusty,Cilla etc. were all big in the sixties but Anita who also had the looks and more versatility was way above them. In love with her when this song came out but knew she would not go out with me. Mainly because I had to be up for school every morning, still dreaming though (lol)

  • Wonderful! I named my youngest daughter after her, back in 1970.

  • If you could get into the tardis, go back in time , go underground (if you knew how and had the time) I think this lovely lady would have been revealed as a bit of a gay icon.

  • Has a lovely voice

  • Beautiful song, thanks, nr 4 in the Britisch top 100 over 1967

  • Funny, this big British hit could only "bubble under" the Hot 100 in the U.S. - yet it's the U.S. issue I have. About three stock copies, and one promo, on Columbia 4-44236.

  • one of my dads all time favourites. and mine too!

  • Wheres Jumbleland????

  • this song came out whilst i was serving in aden 1967, sitting out side the basha made you think of home, and brought a lump to many a throat...brilliant song

  • Can't help myself just loving........this song.

  • @beadsstitcher lol ty for ur comments

  • MY GOD,I LOVE THIS SONG WITH A PASSION.

  • Beautiful song, brings back memories.

  • I met Anita Harris backstage in 1977 at the Theatre Royal in Bath when she was appearing in the panto Dick Whittington. I took many pictures of her and the cast for front of house display. I met many famous people during my theatre photographer days, but she was one of the most approachable. A very lovely person indeed.

  • I last heard this song circa 60s and for no reason it popped into my head in 2010 and magically there it was on youtube. Thanks a million. Just love it.

  • Anita Harris in a recent interview: "Dusty was a convent girl too and we had a sort of camaraderie. She was a very kind, sweet soul. After a Top Of The Pops appearance, she called me over and said: "You have to meet my brother Tom, I think he has a song for you." And that was Just Loving You. She could have easily had it for herself, so not a day goes by that I don't look up to the sky and say: "Thank you Dusty." It was such an unselfish thing to do. "

  • Treasured and cherished.

  • Very nice song. It is just lovely. Thanks for sharing.

  • Agreed tongapuss.Sick in the bloody head.

  • god, you also an idiot

  • To michaeljureidini below. You must be a very sad person to think that living is shit. I am sure that Anita Harris has love and best wishes from most of us, you sound a really nasty and sad person. Maybe you will end up one day with a bad life and remember your pathetic comments.

  • why so negative against mich, mich is just stating a fact, and if you read and understood, mich is pointing out, that no matter how talented or how much money you may have, life can eventually stink.

  • Iv'e waited ages for this song to appear.Thank you so much for posting. What a lovely melody and of course an equaly lovely Anita Harris.Again thank you.

  • A beutifull song, In memory of Bill . With much love Ricky

  • How strange is life. Can bet after singing this song; she never thought that she would be so poor as she is now. Sho is squatting in a room of a friend. She has lost everything and is over sixties. Goes to show that living is worthless. Human is shit, need not exist.

  • the delectable anita skillfully weaves a magical spell over the listener with this hypnotic and atmospheric box of truffles.

  • Thank you! Can hardly believe Amazon and iTunes don't have this piece. This and Vicki Carr singing It Must be Him ----- 2 of the best.

  • I worked on her music video for this song. She was in a blue Aston MArtin convertible with a White Irish Wolfhound who, right on cue, looked at the camer and yawned! She was on the stage and the film took us past her marquee. One of the best songs of all time. Would be a killer duet.

  • what a great song!!!! sung by our very own Anita Haris thx for posting x

  • Thanks for posting!

Always was a fan - and this is a truly beautiful song beautifully sung - by a beautiful woman.

  • Lovely.

  • Written by Tom Springfield who was a major creative force with The Seekers. This one sold over a million.Thank you so much for the posting.

  • How many classics has Tom Springfield written ? What a genius

  • Mr Spingfield aka Tom O'Brien, who is seventy five today (July 2), wrote or co wrote almost all the hits for The Seekers which includes "Georgy Girl" for which he was nominated for an Oscar for best song.

With Tim Field and younger sister, Dusty ( Mary O'Brien RIP), they formed The Springfields and he wrote their hits "Island of Dreams" and "Say I Wont Be There". Later Tom would contribute a hit for Dusty solo ("Losing You").

His works are well represented on You Tube. Enjoy.

  • Does anybody have 'Anniversary Waltz'. It was played at my mum and dad's golden wedding anniversary party on Saturday..there wasn't a dry eye in the house as they danced to it.

  • Has anyone got her single of "Tuppeny Bus Ride"? I used to love that when I was a kid but I haven't heard it for years. Would anyone who's got it be kind enough to post it up?

  • Cracking Song

  • Stephenhad, the song spent 30 weeks in the chart and reached #6.

Eltybin, you're probably thinking of Anita Ward of 'Ring My Bell' fame who was a schoolteacher.

  • I remember in 1968, I was at a boarding school in Sussex and about 15 of us boys were watching TV in the TV room when Anita Harris came on to sing something. We were all totally transfixed and drooling!

  • One of my favourites, thank you. She also did The Anniversary Waltz, a truly beautiful song sung beautifully.

  • can anyone tell me if anita use to be a school teacher

  • ive just looked her up eltybin34 and no she was not a school teacher

  • thank you

  • Untrue. She was a schoolteacher and I got the cane from her every day

  • You wish!

  • I wish too

  • i really like the song, thank you terrjean for this music video. this is one of my favorites. i have been looking for this song for a long time thank you i found it.

  • Very nice.I did not realise Anita Harris was a person.I always thought it was a piles operation. What do I know!

  • Woven with tenderness and mellow beauty, the full tonal warmth of Anita's gorgeous voice is realised in this great song. A moving experience indeed.

  • Hi terryjean99, thanks for this - what memories come flooding back. the wonderful anita never reached her full potential in the charts but she was a true professional.

  • Hello Terryjean. Thank you for this posting. I am a person from that era and this brings back many fond memories. However, this song is now more poignant for me as my wife and I are now proud parents (again) of a baby boy. Somehow, this song encompasses all my feelings, now and into the future, for my new son. This will be our song for him (few word changes here and there). Pity there isn't a full video of Anita Harris singing this original or subsequent recording. Thank you again.

  • thank you for ur comments on just loving you and congrats on the birth of ur son

  • And it's the original! She did a very good re-recording some years after this which is normally the one played, so it's good to hear this. If I remember this song stayed in the top 40 for months but only got as high as about no.7

  • it is a very nice song .glad you like it

  • Always loved this but I didn't buy my copy of the original single until 1984!
