hey if you don't mind me asking, how is the mpk49 space wise? I'm really thinking about getting one but im torn and stressing about where to put it. -.-
Right now I have the MPD24, but really want to have a MIDI keyboard. Would you recommend selling the MPD and getting the MPK, or having both? Is the pad quality okay on the MPK?
I am not sure, I have never played with the MPD, but I guess it is the same quality. The quality on the MPK is OK, you have to bang them quite hard though, but I like that.
@zeppelinhippiekid keep the mpd 24. i have one and am going to buy one of these in a couple of weeks. one problem you might have is, depending on what DAW you use, the notes and faders on both might clash with each other. if this happens, go to the akai site and download vyzex control editor for mpd24. will help out alot.
The AKAI is a solid build controller, I would recommend it over many other brands even if you already have pads on the MPC. Sure you could invest in another controller, but consider having everything you need right in front of you. If cash is an issue I would go for a second hand synth with some controller knobs that can be assigned, the advantage could be you end up with a lot better build of the keys then el cheapo MIDI controller keyboards. Hope that helps.
Yeah, I have bought the MPK after I tried the Axiom. That thing was such a piece of junk that I returned it to the shop after just 2 days as it also came with damage. We love that MPK, my son likes to wack it every day, I am sure the Axiom would have died after a couple of weeks.

@015ABMuSicK

@katmai539

I need a good rhythmic electro module (software). I do not know who to turn to. I usually work in hardware. You have an opinion on this issue?
Sonarius1 2 years ago
Check my website, I made loads of free plugins you can use for the electro sound.
