  • The only thing missing was the constant "EXTERMINATE" from the daleks :P

  • The daleks dined on turtle soup...

  • Awww! Fucking love tortoises. Cute banter in the background, too.

  • Sometimes I really love the world

  • this is cute, but i am saddened that even something this innocent brings out a bunch of haters.

  • The daleks are taking the turtle of death out for his walkies.

  • Its a tortoise not a turtle isn't it?

  • @gemzz4u Yeah

  • Sense. This video makes none.

  • I like turtles.

  • ITS A TORTOISE! my god!

  • Pure. Genius.

Whoever did this is my hero.

  • From what I remember last year, Sheila loved the attention and had a lot of fun. Her owner made sure she got down time if she appeared tired or mad. She's a real sweetheart.

  • the Turtle does have a badge, its probably a psychic paper.

  • What she is here?! poor turtle

  • This turtle has a condition called pyramiding, which only happens when the owner screws up the turtle's food. The shell should be smooth, not all lumpy like that. More greens, less cat food.

  • Somebody make a web comic about a turtle and his pet Daleks, quick!!

  • I despise Dr Who, but this is just too damn funny.

  • I want one. Or ten.

  • its a tortoise... cosplaying as Davros?

  • bowser enjoys cosplaying every now and again

  • woman's voice... obviously hot, I can tell these things

  • thats a tortoise not a turtle. turtls have flippers

  • @soldiermiles Pinball machines have flippers. Turtles have flappers.

  • @RidiculouslyAwes0me birds have flappers, humans are fappers

  • It's animal abuse seriously... Would you like to be tied up to stupid pieces of plastic?

  • This is one of the greatest things that I have ever seen.

  • I can't believe this hilarious/adorable video's comments are mostly people bitching about turtle vs tortoise.

How about how it's totally a clever idea, awesome dalek figures, or totally silly/amusing spectacle?

Personally I'd like to compliment the videographer's thinking to grab a camera!

I wonder how the owner intends to FIND his/her pet after the gag is up. xD

    Great video, thanks for posting!

  • @Nitrostreak He was there the whole time.

  • Only in Wisconsin.

  • He's not being chased- he leadeth them to freedom!

  • It's a frikkin TORTOISE!!

  • @StormchaserKnight Agreed. Turtles are all fully or semi-aquatic. But hey, let them have their eccentricities. Let's face is, they're STILL using Imperial measurements as well.

  • 1. It's the turtle's costume, and the daleks dont weigh enough for it to be too much too pull. 2. The guy is really nice to the turtle! Have you ever met the turtle OR the dude? The guy would never make the turtle do anything that would hurt it, or drag anything that was heavy.

  • @RinTheKat

if i tie some 10 pound weights and make you drag them around is it ok because i call it a costume? its only 10 pound weights its not too much for you to pull around. and if i am really nice to you when i am not making you drag around 10 pound weights its ok right? and if anyone says i am mean for making you drag around the weights i will just tell them they dont know me and you so mind their own business. if i make you drag around the 10 pound weights it wont hurt you just amuse me

  • @signboyy Those daleks weight what? A few grams each? And TORTOISES are incredibly strong for their size.

  • @signboyy So... I'll just tell all the wild ones that they can't drag sticks around to move them and build stuff like beds? Ok... Well then... They are gonna survive so well now, aren't they? The Daleks are not heavy at all and they probably have wheels on them, which makes it easier for the turtoise to move them. The strings aren't tied on it's tail (so no problem with constriction there) and the one on its back wouldn't even bother it. If the tortoise was in any pain or discomfort -c

  • @signboyy It would not have moved around and sat down. Period. Believe me, they are stubborn animals and will only do what they want. This one seems to enjoy doing it or if not enjoy it, at least not be bothered by it at all. And it's one of the healthiest Tortoise I have seen in a long time, nice and big. Just like they should. And the shell looks to be in amazing condition.

Kudos to the owner for creativity of the costume, and amazing Tortoise raising skills :D

  • @signboyy ....have you paid attention to some of the more complex costumes? A full body suit isn't exactly light. And as others have pointed out, this is more like items only weighing a few ounces, not '10 pounds'. (unless you're comparing it to UK currency in the amount of 10 pounds, maybe...)

  • @RinTheKat Not to mention...the turtle has her own con badge. :-)

  • @signboyy It's a terrible tragedy that this poor, poor creature was tortured this way for so long! Thank you so much for pointing out to everyone how important your unnecessary opinion truly is!

I called the police, just like you suggested, and yelled: "Hurry! Marriot! Baby Daleks! Enslaved Tortoise! Mass Chaos! NO TIME TO EXPLAIN!!!" and......they hung up on me. Maybe you're wrong? Nice trolling though.

  • @signboyy You're two days late to the troll party, troll. Find another video.

  • @RidiculouslyAwes0me

commenting about animal cruelty makes me a troll you pyscho?

  • @signboyy Yes. Yes it does. Now frolic off, dear child.

  • @thelovelyarmadillos

if i saw you forcing an animal to drag stuff around i would make you drag stuff around

  • @signboyy good god, its not like the little dalek toys weigh more than half an ounce each. You people need to get a hobby.

ZOMG its torture! tying things to a turtle that he doesn't even notice!!

  • @signboyy Four plastic Daleks don't even weight a pound. That turtle/tortoise is very capable of pulling four four inch plastic figures around. It's fine, chill.

  • @signboyy Well, when you do it in a manner that makes PETA look sane, sensible, and intelligent, yes...

  • @signboyy For the record, the owner of this tortoise found her on the side of the road in MN, nearly starved. This had been someone's pet who was abandoned. The owner brought it home, nursed it back to health, and takes really good care of her. And yes, Sheila loves conventions and performing with her Dalek troops for spectators.

Perhaps it's ignorant people like you, who judge without all the facts, that should be sterilized.

  • @ReadyForBattleAMV

so if i find you along the side of the road nearly starved can i make you drag stuff around?

  • @signboyy You're way too obvious. This doesn't even come close to animal abuse numbnuts.

  • @signboyy Not sure if troll, or PETA idiot.

  • @MiniWeskr That person is clearly just an idiot ;)

  • @signboyy Tortoises are built like fucking tanks. I'm sure that tortoise can handle pulling around some small plastic Daleks like that. No need to worry.

  • @Sicel1304

so can i tie some sh*t around you and make you haul it around?

  • I love sheila!! :D

I saw her at Odd Con too. ^^

  • Cute turtle! I'm not a geek so I don't get the references but CUTE little guy!

  • I saw Sheila but didn't see this part til I saw this posting. Another example of why Geek.Kon rocks.

  • I really need to do that with my tortoise someday.... This is adorable!!

  • Why does that girl sound like Dodger?

  • This just made my day! :D

  • HEH

  • Lol

  • DESTROY DISCWORLD! DESTROY! DE-STROY!!!!

  • The turtle is the Dalek leader! The universe as we know it is ending!

  • oh thats so cute!

  • What convention was this at? Tortoise is just too cute! :D I'm not sure I get the army of Daleks though... is that referencing some Doctor Who episode I haven't seen yet? :p

  • @Karakul That was this past weekend at Geek Kon, in Madison, WI. Yes, the owner was there. ANd yes, Sheila (the tortoise) actually had her own badge.

  • @Karakul As for the Daleks, that was just Sheila doing her cosplay

  • @Karakul Geek.Kon 2011, Madison, WI

  • @RidiculouslyAwes0me Yay! I was there too! Did not see le tortoise though. :(

  • "No, turtle! Turtle! You need a badge to go in there! No!"

    xD

  • Comment removed

  • @PyroPrincess33 'She has a badge, actually'. Best part of the whole thing. :-)

  • I'm pretty sure I was at this convention this weekend. Sadly, I missed the amazing turtle being chased by Daleks.

  • I LIKE TURTLES

  • ExTURTLEate! ExTURTLEate! ExTURTLEate!
